Happy WIP Wednesday!

Today we have a little bit of a secret to release -- our next big project! Taken on by the lovely Sonia, this project will follow suite to one of our other series.

You’ll definitely see some familiar faces, and perhaps even a handful that you won’t remember right away! We’ll try to be as inclusive as possible...

We can’t really tell you much more than that -- lest we give it all away! -- but perhaps you have an idea of what it might be?

Today we are featuring a cute and cuddly creation from Jen, our crochet queen! It’s a sweet little Solaire of Astora! Even though this little guy is still in stages of progress we are certain that this Warrior of Sunlight will reach his full potential in due time!

Introducing the complete series of "Cogwork Earth" (Part 1/2)

Created by the illustrious and talented mindtheglow (Nick Fair), this series of illustrations delves into the facets of life on the planet through the lens visual complexity. All of this is combined with nods to Steampunk, Cyberpunk cultures, and contemporary Scifi with comic and Mucha-esque coloring.

Limited-edition prints are available through request on our Facebook page! There are twenty prints available of each, so be sure to pick one up before they're all gone!

Pricing: $15 each or two for $25! Free shipping within the US. All illustrations are printed on full-bleed, archival gloss, thick photo paper.

I can’t tell who you are, exactly, via your Tumblr but I do know that everyone we met was so awesome and kind.We had a blast! A huge shout out to all of the wonderful people we were able to meet this past weekend at Animazement! Between all of the wonderful customers and the incredibly nice and supportive artists, it made for a fantastic first convention.

Another huge shout out to all of our friends and families for believing in us and pushing us towards our goals! You've stuck with us through the good, the bad and the ugly and we very much appreciate it.

You all have inspired us to keep this going so, truly, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We can't wait to make more memories!

M.D. Studios in Action at Animazement 2015

Good afternoon, followers! The five of us at Marshmallow Dumpling have finally recovered from the studio collective’s official first con, Animazement 2015 in Raleigh, NC. It was a resounding success, and we met tons of fantastic fans of our work, as well as some dazzlingly talented artists at the other tables! I managed to snap a few photos of us, mostly while setting up, so you can see how we looked and some of our wares from the event. 

I’ll be selling some of our prints, including some new, exclusive ones (ooh, so fancy!) at NC Comicon in Raleigh this winter, and possibly some of our stickers and other goodies. We’ll have to see how the stars align- if you know of any along the East Coast, let us know! 

Regardless, it was amazing to meet all of you, and we love to talk, so feel free to drop us a line here, on our Facebook, on our Twitter, or on our instagram!

Also keep a look out in the coming weeks for artist profiles of all the artists that are part of the collective, and their individual con schedules!
