I, uh.... [fishing around in Fun Fact bag] hm....I don't have a lot about Captain American in here, but I'm sure I can find something...
Hope I haven't written about this before, but here goes: Today You Learned about Captain America's birthplace!
"Wait, Jurakan, what are you talking about? I know where Captain America is from. Everyone does! Steve Rogers is from Brooklyn!"
Yeah, uh... okay, so in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we see in Captain America: The First Avenger that Steve Rogers is from Brooklyn. He says as much in dialogue later in the movie, and it comes up more than once in the following movies. Naturally, the people of Brooklyn take great pride in their icon. In 2016, in honor of the character's 75th anniversary, a bronze statue was commissioned and put in Brooklyn, though it's moved around a bit: right now it's in front of the Brooklyn Bed, Bath & Beyond:
Which is pretty darn neat! Except, uh... Steve's not from Brooklyn.
Okay, yes, the MCU version is, but the original comic book character? The one this statue is supposedly celebrating? Yeah, no, he's not from Brooklyn. He's explicitly from Lower East Side. That's in part because that's where one of his co-creators, Jack Kirby, is from.
Almost no one talks about this, though, because the movies are the big things that people remember in culture. I think it's possible that the Ultimate version is also from Brooklyn? I'd need to double-check that, though.
In any case, one of the guys on Tor (now Reactor Mag), Keith R.A. Candido, the one who writes the Superhero Rewatch reviews, has strong opinions on the relocation of Steve Rogers's birth.

Large landmarks are starting to appear all over Canada, nowhere truer than in Alberta. Beaverlodge celebrated its 75th Anniversary of incorporation on July 31, 2004, and part of our celebration included the unveiling of a Giant Beaver Sculpture on our highway corridor. Our Beaver is a remarkable roadside attraction surrounded by interpretive signage (history, habitat, behavior of the animal, along with Town information). A must to see in Northwestern Alberta on your way up the Alaska Highway.
For some history on the Beaver Project read below:
The Beaverlodge Beaver is an engineering marvel. It took 90 gallons of polyurethane to coat, approx. 13 gallons of paint, and 18 blocks of foam to make the sculpture. Heavy Industries in Calgary built the beaver in two section, the beaver and the log. The site was prepared by Dick’s Sand and Gravel.

The most recent appearance by Marvel's Godzilla was actually in 2014, as part of a mock comic pitch in the jumbo-sized Marvel 75th Anniversary Celebration. The other concealed characters are the Shogun Warriors, SuperPro, and Rom, with the Micronauts referenced too.
