I’m just going to start piling my Ta!au quotes into one post instead of spamming everyone's timeline with it.
----------
(after a missions, Ash had a nightmare and can’t sleep and neither could Rowan)
Ash: That’s a terrible story.
Rowan: not all of us fight Gods and win, my boy. so take what I have.
Ash:.... tell me how you survived the Dragalge again?
----------
(later in the Alola timeline-think before Kukui announces the first league)
Ash: You're an asshole, you know that?
Lillie: Mankey see, Mankey do.
Ash: *flashbacks to all the times he’s used the exact phrase* *deep sigh* fair enough.
------------
(on a simple date after a long stake out mission)
Ash:*tired AF* Are you going to keep looking at me like that or are you actually going to kiss me?
Raihan: Can’t I enjoy looking at my meal before digging into it?
Ash... *tired, flustered and now angry because he’s flustered*
Raihan: *too pleased, the smug bastard* that’s what I thought.
------------
(after noticing Meowth working at the new malasada truck outside of school, completely ignoring James and Jessie who ignore him in return)
Ash: hey-not here to pick a fight, put your claw’s away-do you know Lillie’s brother?
Meowth: *suspicious but interested* the emo kid?
Ash: yeah.
Meowth:... why?
Ash: would it be insulting to you if I call him a ragged wet Meowth?
Meowth: *instantly relaxing* if you don’t call him that I will.
Ash: *grabbing the malasada's James hands him without making him pay* let’s tag team him then.
Meowth: sounds perfect to me, now get going. you’re holding up the line Twerp.
-----------
(meeting and conversing with Goh and Chloe for the first time)
Goh: my mission is to catch Mew and then go on my first Pokémon journey!
Ash: *bites tongue and thank the legendries he’s where sunglasses to hide his uncontrollable flash of anger*
Chloe: Don’t listen to him-
Goh: Hey!
Chloe: -he’s the dumb one
Ash: *silently already picking favorites* I see.
------------
(after a prank war)
Gary: does my life truly mean so little to you?
Ash: *w/ neon green hair and permanent marker on his face* YES!
------------
(on a random Tuesday in Alola)
Ash:*swinging in a hammock with sunglasses and his hat* Are you here to kill me? *slurps annoyingly loud at his drink*
Mewtwo:... no but I’m thinking about it now.
--------------
(after loosing the kids in the forest for a while)
Ash: where have you been!?
Lana: *sopping wet*
Mallow: *beginning of a rash on her lips*
Kiawe:*looks like he got into a fight with something and lost*
Sophocles: *also looks like he got into a fight with something and lost*
Lillie: *covered in flowers with a few Cutiefly buzzing around her*
Lana: I think you already know.
-----------
(Champion meeting in Kalos-Lance is sick and Ash is his second by Orange Isles proxy)
Diantha:  You're late. As usual.
Ash: *not high as a kite but not sober either* be happy that I’m even here in the first place.
Rose: it’s really innapro-
Ash&Diantha: not a word out of you.
------------
(Kiawe and Lillie hanging out with Ash even though he’s cleaning all his knives)
Ash:  Put that down! You're like a child.
Kiawe: *pouting and placing down a sheathed knife* I’m a teenager, not a child.
Ash: uh-huh.
------------
(Ash begrudgingly letting Lana indulge the rain before class one day)
Ash:  Well, don't stand there in the rain all day. Come on.
Lana: but I like the rain.
Ash: okay-let me rephrase then so you understand. Don’t make me give you detention-
Lana: *darts on past*
Ash: *smirking and start to trail behind* that’s what I thought.
-----------
(after being trailed by some mercenaries from a Gala)
Rowan: we’re safe now, aren’t we boy?
Ash: *checks around corner of the alleyway they ducked into to loose their trackers* Yeah... yeah I think so old-
Goons: *appearing on the other side of the alleyway* there they are!
Ash&Rowan: *in unison* fuckshitfuckingtitballs-
----------
(in Hisui)
Ash:  I swear it wasn't me.
Cyllene: *annoyed but in a motherly way* now why don’t I believe that?
Ash:.... because I’m your favorite survey member? *Growlith eyes and slight cheeky smile*
Cyllene: get out of my sight.
Ash: *squeaks* yes, Captain!
---------------
(after an intense debrief after a mission going tits-up as Ash was unknowingly stalked by another mercenary)
Gary: Who did you piss off this time?
Ash: *slumping down in a chair next to Gary and the large as computer screens* it’s more like who I haven’t pissed off.
-------------
(after first trimester of finals)
Kukui: *walks into the classroom, see’s Ash blank face and staring at the other doorway where Kukui originally left though*
Ash:
Kukui:
Ash:
Kukui: you gonna keep staring or what?
Ash: *broken out of the strongest dissociation spell in a long time**jumping out of his seat and making a fool of himself while falling down onto the floor* cheese and crackers on balls, you motherfucker-

It’s a bit of both of those things and the trauma over everything that’s happened to Ash in the au.
Ash’s aura is naturally connected to the earth core of aura, where all the other legendary’s connect but the majority of them are very feint and can only reach out so far -the exclusion is Arceus, mew, the creation trio, Lugia, ho-Oh, Necrozma and Celebi-which doesn’t bring a lot of drama. His own aura is very strong though not fully stopped into until Hoenn. It leaks out a lot when around other mythical, legendary’s and very strong Pokemon though quickly developed in Sinnoh when he meets Riley and his Lucario. The connection to the earth’s overwhelming spring of pure concentrated aura fucks Ash up, this is around Unova hence why he’s starting to mentally decline and become a lot more bitter quickly despite struggling to still love his friends around him, and continues to do so the moment he meets a very strong Pokemon. As those Pokémon have curated their own aura to be stronger as well during training.
It’s also why Ash starts to hate crowded places like shopping centers and gets annoyed easily on school grounds because Human aura is so finicky and unpredictable to the majority of the human race that it feels like he’s constantly being poked at. Like some damn science experiment like the Mewtwo’s and Genesect, so he gets their pain to a point to have a standing leg for timid friendship. It’s also why he prefers the wilderness, solo missions, and Pokemon over his own kind. It’s an important note to say that when a human’s emotions turns complicated and hurtful (bed confusion, anger, sadness, depression-you get the gist) it causes their aura to naturally reach out and hurt the one that’s causing them to feel this emotion. It’s why Ash is so hesitant to be around the kids almost 24/7 because their so young and inexperienced unlike Ash was at their age. They don’t know that their Ta can turn into a cold blooded mass murderer if pushed to far.
Ash is also effected by the claims the gods have settled into his soul. Like Lugia is the strongest as even though he’s the second to lay claim-he is after all Arceus creation-Ash naturally seeks him out more then any other legendary. Specifically taking trips to the Orange Isles in the guise of champion duties when in reality he’s specifically in Lugia’s tiny above cave Lugia, ho-Oh and Rayquaza were raised in. Ho-Oh was the fourth and even though he was the first to truly activate his claim when Ash wished on him on his first day as a trainer, it’s the only reason why it’s that strong. Lugia’s claim wasn’t activated until Ash and him fell into the sea. He had wanted to keep Ash away from the prophecy as long as he could as Lugia knew it would fuck his very human kid up in ways that Ash would never recover from but it was evident that the prophecy must come true. Thus saving Ash-and by extension Pikachu as Pokemon cannot be laid claim to by other Gods besides Arceus himself-and the day.
While Ho-Oh activation felt like prosperity and wanderlust and Lugia was a breath of life and very eerie tranquility, Arceus was of pain and anger. That was before he truly realized where he was was and referring to Ash as “his Ash” or something along the lines it’s been a while since I saw the movie when he calms down. Arceus regrets his first meeting with his logically certified grandchild being so traumatic and rough and this leads to him not smiting Ash when he murders actually humans due to everything I’ve stated so far and more. Tapu Koko is terrified of activating his claim, he’s the third since he’s Ash’s other godly parent, and puts Ash through the Tapu’s versions of trials and grand trials.
Ash doesn’t get the zing as in the anime but he does get the ability to reflect it regardless onto his Pokémon to creat stronger moves. His aura would briefly connect with the ones he’s really close to-so like his older Pokémon, up to about everyone before Unova and half the Unova team since Ash focused on their care and training during his first break to escape from registering what he did-and it’s like his version of a Zmove. He can also briefly reflect the same typing in his aura, which is flowing more into his more animalistic spider of his dna and soul. Ash’s aura is already so dense and most importantly malleable. If he concentrates hard enough Ash can mold his aura to creat objects. So like the majority of his knives, nails and barb wire on his metal bat and to be able to sense when certain types of Pokémon are nearby. The typing can also fall into this as well to creat small shard of ice sticking to torn skin or putting poison on his blades.
He has to use it constantly or Ash will go insane. It’s like a pressure building up behind his eyes like a killer migraine and he’s actually had blood leak out of his ears and eyes when trying to appease Delia since she doesn’t want to see, hear, or talk about aura in her household. It’s also the main show of trust between him and Rowan when Ash is first dropped off at his house straight after the bloody team rocket massacre in Unova. The professor wasn’t going to let Ash waste such a talented gift-in the best of way possible-and constantly asks for help at the lab. Bringing Ash slowly out of his shell while also keeping a professional attitude not to fuck up the kid any further. Because Ash is a kid still, barely near 18 and so fucking traumatized. It’s the best Rowan could offer in that moment which is somehow the most Ash had ever positively received from an adult besides his mom and Ash doesn’t want to talk about her during his whole stay at the veterans house.
We can’t forget the general trauma he’s left with. He mostly focuses on the bad guys more then the gods when he can help it. It’s easier to process and to let himself feel all the emotions they caused him and that left with the horrible impression. This leads to Ash to be very bright hot angry towards people he finds ‘emotionless’ such like Gladion as a true example. He can clearly see-after being forced to spend time together due to situations-that Gladion still has the ability to care. Care about his mom, his Pokemon, his dad to some extent and most importantly Lillie even though he left her in some kind of stupid hero-sequel move. Gladion doesn’t have the right to care about Lillie, Lusamine can go fuck off and Ash hasn’t met Mohn yet, in Ash’s very open opinion. It doesn’t help that Lillie agree’s-silent, scared with her voice shaking like she’s still on the verge of tears and her craftily hidden anger hand in hand-and show’s through her actions more then word that she’ll follow after Ash over Gladion.
Cold anger is different. It’s calm and calculated and it shows first with Cyrus who truly doesn’t show emotion. Ash reacts like that because he can see himself in Cyrus and it scars the little boy that still clings to the ever prosperous kindness hidden behind bars in the deepest bit of his heart. He isn’t good at it, the Admins of his team were good at tugging at the burning hotness that started to take root or has most likely been there from the start all the way back before he could speak clearly, but he meets lesser opponents on the field of league politics. Rowan and Gary help him as it’s a language they’ve been fluent in for years at this point. Lysandre is greeted with refined calmness and control and even though the battle is long Ash know’s for certain he is alive band trapped in a bubble in the earth core. Saved by Zygards anger as the ‘Mon wants to watch him die over and over again for hurting it’s territory and its people.
Lusamine is his newest target if Ash could even get a hold of her first. Every call of his or the schools calls in general go straight to voicemail and it pisses him off to no end. He’s had to be talked down by Kukui not to fly to wherever the fuck the Aether stood in Alola and kick all the doors down until he had the woman’s full attention. Later it was burnet how’s worked with this woman and have a work friendship with, which is already a bit tense due to Lusamine obvious unhealthy obsessions with UB’s like Gladion, and instead she mostly focuses Ash’s attention of Faba and Colress. Which… wow that was not a person Ash ever thought he’d end up seeing again. Let alone the fact that Colress has some strong amnesia.
So yeah! This ins’t the whole scope of my world building, that would take for hours to talk about, but you’re questions were really good ones 🤍 this isn’t all the examples of trauma, pallet town is it’s whole other issue I’ll hopefully reach to soon-ish, but it;’s a good start to show just how fucked up Ash is in this Au.

I've been thinking about them a lot for some reason, so-
Do you have any platonic Ash and Dawn headcanons? Any AU that interests you
I adore the very feral middle brother and younger sister vibes they got going in the TA!au that I have going on
\: HC
- : addition to above hc
——
\ Dawn was very much her tv counterpart up until getting sucked into Hisui alongside Ash and Pikachu. Strengthen by the fact that Piplup did not follow her through unlike Pikachu did with Ash. It broke something inside her almost instantly but Ash was able to catch her in time.
- This wasn’t Ash’s first time with other people, for fucks sake Dawn has done this before as well. They dealt with fucking Arceus and the trio when they were younger.
\ they quickly got very codependent with each other, one never leaving the others side unless it’s very important. Commander Kamado tried to get them to go separate but it usually ended up with Dawn getting in trouble that she has no way to get out of and Ash immediately sensing she’s in danger and Bull charging to her.
- six other of ten times she’s hurt. Like gash on her shoulder or electricity burns. Dawn gets majority of her scars in Hisui as well. Not nearly matching Ash’s marked body but close enough.
\ they were Captain Cyllene M’sorry favorite.Though Ash was the favorite out of the pair. Their humor was very dry and witty and it was like watching a tennis match how Dawns head would look back and forth. They were both very good on polite shit talking and it was impressive.
- Dawn of course learns this later on in Hisui near the end. Especially when Kamado declares them the problem and chucks them out of Jubilife village. She’s viciously defends them while Ash goes nearly berserk trying to figure out wtf is happening. It was very clear to her that her strength levels had absolutely no chance to compare to Ash’s.
\ they both work out in a public gym close to the labs when their both in Sinnoh. Ash helps her with her strength and she helps him with agility.
\ Dawns improvements in contests is astounding and people question her how she was able to grow so much in that short time she has been away (it was longer in Hisui and it drives her a little more insane every time someone brings it up) and she can’t say shit.
- to hear that the Rowan family was understanding and that Ash personally understood how it feels, she’s never been more seen and welcomed in her life. Not even in her mothers house at the time either, especially after her dad has left.
\ Dawn gets called a mini-Ash jokingly by the others declaring he “gave her all her bad habits” but she uses it against Ash as well. It’s followed by a lot of sibling bickering between her, Ash and Gary.

Cackling over the idea of Professor Rowan and Cynthia, along with Gary and probably a good size police force, stumbling over Ash, Dawn, and Ingo in the Ta!au after they get zapped back to their current time and after Rowan and Gary absolutely grill Ash and Cynthia stopped crying over Dawn. Rowan just looks over to Ingo and sucks a deep breath in and both Gary, Ash, and Dawn sharing a look.

M’so feral over the way my little family in the Ta!au fight. It’s unreal.
Rowan fights with connections. He knows everyone and anyone and could ruin your life. Despite being a. Grumpy old man, his mind is still sharp as it was back when he was a young yet seasoned Marine. When he had worn the title of Master Gunnery Sergeant with pride and honor instead of the weariness now. He’d have your name dragged through the mud before physically doing so to you. This man took a hit to the chest from a Dragalge, got healed by the last known experienced aura users before their assassination that night after he was healed and survived, and still has the majority of his muscles left. He may be considered short for his home regions standard but he’s built like a brick fucking house. His suits and sweaters just hide is externally well.
Ingo fights with his words. Despite having a natural ridged way of speaking, he can easily morph it in a way that leaves you stuttering. He’s used it against Alder, Drayden, even Agatha when she made a harsh comment towards his dinner that he helped Rowan gracefully cook when the hosted some of the older gym leaders at their place. Leaves you humiliated and rightly shamed after only a single comment, carried out in his dried matter-of-fact tone.
Gary fights with his charm. Hell smooth talk his way into any space.au it be an office, a lab, even another bed with almost anyone. He’s the public playboy of their little cobbled together not-so-family and he reveals in the spotlights. He’s used his silk tongue to get very secret information out of some important person, his flirty comments to make things go by faster-sweeter for him and Ash. He’s the opposite of Ingo where instead of making people want to run away from him, Gary draws people in. Like a moth to a flame. It also drives Oak wild seeing his grandson at very important public events, hanging off one of his more important flirtatious partners arm. Charming everyone around him.
Ash fights with psychologically. Using his aura to create shadows and movement from the corner of people eyes. How his well trained vocal cords could mimic any sound, human or not. Gasoline dripping off his tongue as he lathered barbed wire wrapped words around your heart and mind. He can break the strongest down with just a little bit of work, people should be more glad he’s hungover the majority of the time. If not then he’d most likely have torn apart every league to its bare bones by now.
Dawn leans into that hood ol’ physical fighting. There’s not one day she goes by without asking something spar with her. Ingo, Zoe, Serena-you name a person, she’s most likely tussled with them. How ash and Gary get used to reaching out without looking up from what their doing just to stop Dawn from moving to pummel someone against the wall.

I have four ideas of the Open House episode for the Ta!au
1) Kukui yells Ash that he’s more then welcome to bring Delia, is she wants to fly to Alola for like a week or smthin, to the Open House at the school. Saying that the majority of the STA’s (Student-Teacher Assistants) will be doing so since all their parents live in Alola. Ash doesn’t and just thinks he can chill in the back while Kukui and the kids do their Thing™. Probably can get a nap out of the whole thing. What he wasn’t expecting was the kids to basically force him up to the front and begged to talk about himself since they’ve all been gushing about Kukui’s TA to their parents.
2) Delia does come to Alola and is either flown out by principal/Professor Oak or Kukui to surprise Ash and it… doesn’t go as well as they thought. Ash is taken off guard and all his masks the kids and Kukui had slowly been able to tear away are back in place. He’s bitterly cold and rude, absolutely neutral towards the kids and their parents, while throwing daggers with his eyes at Kukui whenever Delia or the kids have their back turned. He gives everyone the silent treatment afterwards and calls out “sick” during the entire time Delia is in Alola.
3) Ash gets the idea to ask Rowan and Ingo if they wanted to come. It’s a hesitated offer and he looks like he’s already prepping himself for rejection form the two men, sadly Rowan can’t go but Ingo can! He joins Ash and the young adult is much more truly relaxed and not the forced relax he makes himself and expressive. It’s the first time the kids see him smile more for ten minutes and both them and the adults seem to adore Ingo.
4) same as idea 3 but Rowan has time to come, can’t stay more then then three days at most, but Ash gets to the airport to greet the two men and see’s Gary with the biggest floppy sun hat he’s ever seen paired with the gaudiest old grandma glasses Ash has ever seen. It’s absolutely chaos and Ash has to stop Gary from accident cursing in front of the kids so many times.

(after one of Ash’s first few really long and intense missions)
Rowan: Who did this to you?
Ash: *face down on the patio out back* myself and my stupid actions.
Gary: *to focus on stitching his brother back together*
Rowan:*watches for a while before sighing and setting down his coffee* You’re doing it wrong son, give it here and hand me the disinfection spray and the scissors. this is how you’re supposed to do it-
*after a long while and a pizza delivery later*
Rowan: now watch those stitches, boy. I’m not stitching you back together and will leave you bleeding out if this happens again.
Ash: *fully knowing the Professor is full of shit* thank you, Gunny.
Rowan: hng. *goes back to his cold coffee*

Mmmm thinking about ta!au Rowan and the boys

There’s a little diner Ta!Rowan likes to take the boys to for breakfast after particularly hard days/nights without fail. It’s very old and out of current touch with society, a place a younger Rowan had found back during his military days and one of the few places drenched in only good memories.
And without fail-every motherfucking damn time-Ash and Gary resolve into a petty sibling argument over which is the better syrup flavor. Plain vs strawberry. It dissolves into a battle perfected points of view to a repeat of ‘Nu uh’s’ and ‘Ya huh’s’. It gets worse when Dawn joins them. Somehow seemingly fitting into the argument and defending the blueberry syrup the first morning she joins the boys.
Ingo just looks at the three stuffed in the same booth across from him and Rowan and just politely ask’s the nice waiter if she could just bring a full coffee pot to their table and leave it behind. Both used to this behavior from Ash and Dawn during the Hisui shitstorm and Gary’s addition to the chaos is a blink and you miss it shift in dynamic for him.

Since this got eaten by tumblr the last time, but Lance and Drake putting aside their feud for Ash in TA!AU when Ash comes back from a very trying mission with the International League. Lance takes Ash to the top of Mount Silver for a week, where it is just silent meals, battles, and watching the sunrise/set before going back to the Plateau and eating nothing but take-out for 3 days, which causes Ash to break whatever mask of false wellness he was wearing and ends up falling asleep on Lance's couch, a certain cape covering him as a blanket. Drake will wait for him at Pummelo and take him to their old training grounds aka an abandoned island where there is only some trees but no Pokemon to get hurt and let Ash just vent/and destroy, but always has his back turned so Ash has some privacy. Ash stays in his old room from his training days, amused that it hasn't changed one bit but also sad and wishes some days he could just be 10 years old again. Mornings usually find Ash and Drake sitting on the beach, each drinking something alcoholic out of a coconut while watching their Pokemon play in the surf in silence. Lance and Drake both hate that assassinations for the International League are considered a necessity. Even Drake wanted Ash to join the G-Men but politics be damned Ash was never really given a choice as the Chosen One. Sure Lance and Drake fight due to years of bad blood and generational trauma but they can and will set that aside for one child who was forced to grow up faster than most.
I love this, I really do but this is just… not the trios relationship in the au.
Let’s start with Lance. He’s a motherfucker in his own right-a right cunt if you will-but he’s better than Delia if Ash had to rank the mass of people that he knows. Lance is still by far not the favorite despite the blood relations to Ash by being his hand uncle, which actually hinders his relationship quite a bit since Lance still actively talks to Delia and initially tries a while to get Ash to talk to her again. Only stopping in the first place after Ash had blow up at him for the first time and cut contact with Lance.
That event was the catalyst of the growing mountain of proof that Ash can’t live in Kanto anymore. Moving to set his primary residency from Kanto/Johto elite four castle, previously changing it from Delia’s residency right after his snap at the end of the Unova when the INL allowed Ash to travel after staying with Rowan under the man’s care for a year and a half, to Rowan’s permanently. Going bro contact with lance didn’t let up until after Kalos and it’s almost world ending event.
It actually takes a while for Lance to even drop the subject of Delia as a whole. He quickly stops trying to physically force Ash to see Delia when he surprised Ash one time with her by his side for a “league meeting”. The black eye that refused to leave his face for a solid month was a very painful reminder of that meetings very abrupt conclusion.
Drake, on the other hand, is much higher on Ash’s like list. Despite Drake taking on a lot more of the Secondary Champion aspect of Ash’s job that allowed Ash to travel without hesitation, they still butt heads now and then. Especially more when Ash had a lot of free time on his hand after Unova and was able to take over a lot of busy work from Drake’s desk. They clashed over budgeting, potential laws, what the Professor’s can and can’t do with the wildlife around all the islands. What they complexity agree on, and still do to this day, is that whenever a legendary or rare Pokémon appears to cause a ruckus or something else along the lines it immediately becomes Ash’s problem. Even if Ash is on the opposite side of the world it is still his problem.
Drake absolutely refuses to touch a legendary or mythical with a twenty yard pole. He hasn’t had to during his reign of Champion and he’s not starting now. Even though Ash agree’s that it’s best if he takes care of the legendary bullshit that happens in the isles it is still a hassle to put whatever he’s doing on hold to fly out to the isles and deal with it. It put’s a lot of things in danger and even though Drake is the best person to reroute the path of the people living on the islands so their safe, that is ultimately the extent of what he can do regardless. His team isn’t used to fighting Legendaries and or somehow, giving the situation, enhanced or changed Pokemon.
All three of them have their good moments together despite all of this. Lance and Drake really do care about Ash and his physical and mental health and despite the ever shifting changes of certain levels of contact with the two older men, ultimately they can’t really offer anything to Ash to alleviate his stress other than what their already doing. It double suck’s because they have to go around Ash to talk to other people to get actual update’s on Ash and it always never fails to piss Ash off even more when he always finds out when they go around him.

(after finding out about Ash’s job with the International League)
Ta!Delia: *trying not to panic but failing* How many people have you killed, Ash?
Ash: *silent and dissociating in Oak’s office as the Professor just silently watches the family fall apart at the seams*
Delia: *Grabs Ash and winces as one of his hands grabs her wrist hard out of reflex, nearing hysterics* How many Satoshi!?
Ash: *tugs her off and leaves both her home and Pallet Town for the last time*
-
Rowan: *tired, on his second cup of coffee despite it being two in the morning* How many people have you killed, kid?
Ash: *silent and dissociating on the ground in front of the sliding window doors, wet from dissociating outside in the snow/rain before Rowan pulled his freezing ass back inside*
Rowan: *walks over and try's to gently card the knots out of Ash’s sopping wet hair* How many, my boy?
Ash: *trying hard from braking down, closes eyes and leans into the veterans warmth* to many to keep count.

Despite living in a small country town, Ash and Gary don’t know how to line dance. Rowan, after he found out that important little tidbit when Gary got asked by a very pretty girl to like dance and had to turn it down because he doesn’t know, decided that this could not stand in his household. Therefore he teaches Ash and Gary how to like dance amongst other dances as well when the boys take up the habit he’s had since Rowan was a little kid.

One of Ta!Rowans nicknames is Batman because he makes the same grunts the superhero makes on all the tv shows and movies and it’s Gary, delirious from his wisdom teeth being taken out, who’s calling him Batman in his most “I’m Batman” voice possible.
