Main Control: Key Assignment;
Main Control: TactiX;
Main Control: LED;
Main Control: Sensor;
Main Control: OS Sensitivity;
Macro:
Library:

The My corner of nerdiness Workspace
Here are some of the products that make this workspace an Amazing Workspace:
I was really proud of myself because I managed to get a single bundle of cables from the racing rig to the computer. Also, on the rig itself, cables are virtually invisible.
Most (if not all) of my racing rig I've had for years now. The pedals, wheel & H-shifter are no longer manufactured. But it's still serving me well and 6 years ago this was a top of the line setup!
The solution was obvious, just move everything downstairs. I've been living alone for a while now, so there was nobody to tell me I can't have my grown-up toys in the middle of the house, but I was still doubting if it's the right choice.
Frex FFB Wheel & Sequential Shifter
The racing setup was in my attic. I played non-racing games on it from time to time, but it wasn't ideal. It was in a hot, tiny room and my old computer was extremely noisy (R9 290 video card, for people who know it).
other small bits and pieces not worth mentioning
Asus VG248QE monitor, with basic IKEA wall mount
My old computer was far from silent. It was closer to washing machine noise levels, to be honest. I kept the CPU, MB & a few other important bits and rebuilt in with a silent video card and a really silent case. Because my racing rig sticks out so much, I wanted everything else to be as inconspicuous as possible, hence my choice for case, peripherals, floating desk etc.
Fractal Define Mini C case (upgraded with Noctua fans, really silent)
IKEA MILLBERGET chair
Enter /r/battlestations. I've been a long-time lurker of this sub and I've had so much inspiration from so many great setups. I wanted something minimalistic (as minimalistic as you can get with a racing rig in the living room!). I wanted something that looks cool, that complements the rest of my house. I wanted a floating desk, I wanted to see as little wires as possible and I wanted it to be silent.
SST H-Shifter
Computer, just for reference. Out of sight and out of mind.
Full setup, in a corner of the living room that used to be just sad and empty. I considered for a long time what to fill it with, maybe a plant, maybe a reading corner or perhaps a gaming setup...
Oculus Rift
CST pedals
I'm a casual gamer, but I still wanted a more comfortable setup. I considered building a second smaller computer and putting it in the empty corner of the living room, but that seemed like such a waste, having two gaming computers on two different floors of my house.
Racing rig. Red is my favourite color (can you tell?). I'm trying to keep everything as low-key as possible, but couldn't help myself with a few red accents.
CoolerMaster MasterMouse S
Steelseries Qck mousepad
Minimalist desktop. I debated a long time if I should get a wireless mouse and keyboard, but I've always wanted a mechanical keyboard. So I went for wired in the end. It's not ideal, with how the cables show, but the keyboard is REALLY nice!
IKEA LINNMON table top
I'm really happy with how everything turned out. There's always room for improvement, but I have a huge smile on my face when I come home at night and sit down at my battle station. That's what matters in the end, I guess.
CoolerMaster MasterKeys S keyboard
Specs, from left to right:
Cable management. I needed longer cables if I wanted to hide everything under the desk. And for some things (like the Rift) getting extensions is difficult and slightly expensive. This was good enough for me, cables are almost invisible when the chair is in place.
i5 4670K GeForce GTX 1080

Best gaming mouse 2019: the best gaming mice we've tested

Best gaming mouse 2019: the best gaming mice we've tested
Pick the best gaming mouse for you on this list, and add it to your gaming arsenal. Because, even if you already have the best gaming mouse pads on the market and you’ve blown most of your budget on your fancy rig, grabbing the cheapest mouse you can find at your local big box store just isn’t the right move. Gaming peripherals are a big part of how immersive and smooth your gaming experience is. The mouse you’ll be using, especially, can make or break your game. So it only makes sense to put the same level of commitment into choosing a gaming mouse as you would with the bigger purchases. Everything attached to your powerhouse rig should be of comparable quality. Oh, and while you’re at it, you may want to pick up one of the best gaming chairs as well. As far as the best gaming mouse for your needs, keep an eye open for one that can balance price and performance while packing in some unique features in between. There’s an age-old myth that the most expensive mouse on the shelf is going to be the best one, but that’s simply not true. The SteelSeries Sensei 310, for example, has all the performance you could ask for at less than the price of a new AAA game. We put together a list of the best gaming mice we’ve tested and reviewed in the last few months. No matter what kind of PC games you're into, you'll find the best gaming mouse to satisfy your gaming needs. Be sure to keep checking back, as we'll keep adding the latest and greatest gaming mice.

Image Credit: TechRadar When it comes to the best gaming mouse, features, balance, and performance are all there in equal measure in the SteelSeries Rival 710, which is why it tops our list. This heavyweight gaming mouse is a little expensive, but when you weigh that price tag against the customizable OLED display, haptic feedback (great for you MOBA players) and excellent build quality, the SteelSeries Rival 710 is easily a solid purchase. The kicker? Everything is modular, even down to the sensor, so you never have to feel like you’re missing out on the latest tech.

Image Credit: TechRadar The SteelSeries Sensei 310 is the best gaming mouse like no other, both in terms of price and performance. The low cost of admission is about the same price that you’d expect to pay for a AAA game that’s been out for a little while, and with that, you also get its out-of-this-world TrueMove 3 optical sensor, making it almost impossible to compete with. This mouse, with no preference, when it comes to dexterity, is a force to be reckoned with when comes to real-world sensitivity. You can even pick up the SteelSeries Rival 310 if you want similar performance, but a more light-handed approach to dexterity.

Image Credit: Corsair The best gaming mouse is always going to be the one that delivers excellent performance at a price that won’t break the bank. The Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless is the poster child for this ideal price-to-performance ratio. At less than 50 bucks, you’re getting a wireless mouse that has RGB lighting, boasts a long battery life and doesn’t at all suck. The ergonomics are specifically for right-handed users, but at this price and with this level of performance, there’s little to complain about.

Image Credit: Logitech Aesthetically, you generally have two main options when you’re shopping around for the best gaming mouse: a high-performing mouse that looks like it would fit in the office, or a mouse that lives and breathes that ‘gaming life’. The Logitech G502 fits firmly in the latter category, with its robotic design. But, don’t let that intimidate you. With adjustable weights and a jaw-dropping 16,000 DPI sensor, this gaming mouse backs its look with outstanding performance. It’s not ideal for users with huge hands, but beyond that, this one has our vote for the best gaming mouse on the market.

Image Credit: TechRadar We’ve given the Roccat Kova Aimo high scores for solid build quality, customizability and great gaming performance that gets even better after some tweaking in the Roccat Swarm software. It’s white version looks uncannily like those scary robots from I, Robot, but the solid black one is stunning and will definitely fit any set-up. Fans of LED lighting might find it a bit lacking, but this gaming mouse’s ambidexterity more than makes for its minor flaws. All things considered, it’s definitely the best gaming mouse we’ve tested this 2019 so far.

Image Credit: Cooler Master If you’re looking to find the best gaming mouse without spending a lot of cash, then the Cooler Master MasterMouse MM520 is the terrific addition to your gaming set-up. It won’t win any beauty contests, but packing quality Omron switches and a reasonably sensitive sensor capable of up to 12,000 DPI makes it a smart purchase, which in turn makes it’s easy to look past the unappealing design – especially if you use a claw grip.

Image Credit: TechRadar Have you been getting into the World of Warcraft: Classic beta? Then you’re going to want to consider the Razer Naga Trinity. Razer’s Naga mice have always been fan favorites in the MMO community, but the manufacturer has taken the Naga Trinity to the next level. With it, you’re getting three easily swappable side plates, so that you can configure your mouse to fit your needs and the game you’re playing. Add in the insane 16,000 DPI sensor and Razer Chroma RGB lighting, and you’ll be topping the DPS meters in no time.

Image Credit: TechRadar If you find yourself scoffing at some of the gaming mice available in 2019 that sport over-the-top designs, then you should take a look at the HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB. Featuring extremely reliable Omron switches and ravishing RGB lighting – not to mention an impressive 16,000 DPI sensor – you’re scoring the best gaming mouse for an excellent price. Plus, it’ll fit into any office, at least once you turn down the lighting effects.

Image Credit: Corsair Got big hands? We get it; most of the best gaming mice on the market are either too small or too light, or even a bit of both. To make matters worse (for you, at least), some of the big mice out there are loaded with gratuitous buttons and weird shapes that make them look like asylum-seekers from an alien robot planet. The Corsair Ironclaw is just the total opposite. It’s an attractive mouse for big-hand users, with a design that won’t make you want to toss it inside your desk drawer whenever you have company. Plus, it’s tough as heck, which means it can handle some rough and tumble, making it the best gaming mouse for you.

Image Credit: Michelle Rae Uy When you take stock of all its nifty features, it might shock you to find the Gigabyte Aorus M5 at only $69. This looker is among the best gaming mouse of great value that we’ve gotten our hands on this year. It’s also highly customizable, and offers great ergonomics and fun RGB lighting. Plus, as far as features that will give you the gaming advantage, it boasts an adjustable weight distribution system, on-the-fly DPI adjustments and Omron switches tested for 50 million clicks. Those are just to start. If you’re in the market for a mouse that gives you more bang for your buck, this is it.

How to choose the best gaming mouse While you’ll definitely find the best gaming mouse of your gaming dreams, doing so will take a bit of time and some effort. There’s a ton of complicated technical jargon that goes into the best gaming mice – terms like polling rates and DPI ratings that a regular buyer might not be familiar with. For the record, you’ll want a higher number of both, but these two terms mean drastically different things. For newcomers to the world of PC gaming, when you see the term DPI, that is shorthand for ‘dots per inch.’ The higher the number, the wider the range wherein you can specify your how sensitive your mouse is. If you don’t have a lot of desk space available, but you still want accuracy and precision, then opt for a gaming mouse featuring a higher DPI rating. Of course, you can always toggle a lower DPI too. Meanwhile, a high polling rate means you’re getting faster response times. The polling rate is measured in hertz, so it usually ranges from around 125 to 1,000Hz. The latter means that your mouse’s position is reported to your computer 1,000 times per second. Other key gaming mouse factors you’ll want to consider are ergonomics – particularly if you’re left-handed – and RGB lighting. Read the full article

If you already own one of the best gaming PCs on the market, it& apos; s seducing to grab the cheapest mouse you can find at your local big box store. But, this isn& apos; t a wise move.

Oh, and while you’re at it, you may want to pick up one of the best gaming mouse pads as well.
As far as your potential gaming mouse, maintain an eye open for one that can balance price and performance, while packing in some unique features. Got big hands? Then you’re probably here looking for a gaming mouse that’s right for them. We understand; most of the best gaming mice on the market are either too small or too light, or even a bit of both. To make matters worse( for you, at the least ), some of the big mice out there are packed with gratuitous buttons and weird shapes that build them look like they just walked straight out of a Transformers movie. The Corsair Ironclaw takes care of all of that. It’s an attractive mouse for big-hand users that you won’t have to throw inside your desk drawer whenever you have company. How to choose the best gaming mouse
While you’ll definitely find the best gaming mouse of your gaming dreams, doing so will take a bit of day and some effort. There’s a ton of complicated technological jargon that goes into the best gaming mice- terms like polling rates and DPI ratings that a regular purchaser might not be familiar with. For the record, you’ll want a higher number of both, but these two terms mean drastically different things.
For newcomers to the world of PC gaming, when you watch the word DPI, that is shorthand for’ dots per inch .’ The higher the number, the wider the scope wherein you can specify your how sensitive your mouse is. If you don’t have a lot of desk space available, but you still want accuracy and accuracy, then opt for a gaming mouse featuring a higher DPI rating. Of course, you can always toggle a lower DPI too.
Meanwhile, a high polling rate means you’re getting faster response times. The polling rate is measured in hertz, so it usually ranges from all over 125 to 1,000 Hz. The latter means that your mouse’s position is reported to your computer 1,000 days per second.
Other key gaming mouse factors you’ll want to consider are ergonomics- particularly if you’re left-handed- and RGB lighting.

http://www.internetunleashed.co.uk/?p=30989 Best gaming mouse 2018: the best gaming mice we've tested - http://www.internetunleashed.co.uk/?p=30989 Now that Computex 2018 just ended, and we’ve seen some of the best gaming mice and gaming PCs that will hit the market soon, we figured it was time to look back and revisit some of the best gaming mice of 2018. We get it, you just spent a fortune on the best PC you could build, and you want to scale back your spending a bit. But, admit it, there’s a little part of you that wants to splurge on the best mouse to match your glorious rig. Don’t feel bad, in fact, you should do yourself a favor and pick up the best gaming mouse you can today, so that everything attached to your rig is of comparable quality. And, while you’re at it, pick up one of the best mouse pads, too.When you go out looking for the best gaming mouse for your needs, you need to consider any mouse that manages to strike the golden balance between price and performance. You don’t want to just go out and pick up the most expensive mouse you can find. Just look at the SteelSeries Rival 600, it’s not much more expensive than a new AAA game, but it balances that with a ton of high-end features and top-notch performance.Every single mouse on this list hits this golden balance of value to quality and features. We’ve reviewed or tested and ranked every mouse on this list, and each has earned our coveted seal of approval. You can be confident that no matter which of these mice you choose, you’ll be satisfied with it. No matter what kind of games you want to play, after going through this list, we believe you’ll get your hands on one of the best gaming mice. SteelSeries is experiencing a sort of renaissance in 2018, and there is no greater evidence of that than the SteelSeries Rival 600. Featuring customizable weight, the perfect amount of side buttons, and true RGB spectrum lighting the Rival 600 will be the centerpiece of your desk. But, even beyond the aesthetics, the Rival 600 performs far better than a mouse in its price range has any right to. Not only does it feature a 12,000 DPI sensor and satisfying mechanical switches, but the Rival 600 goes above and beyond and features a depth sensor that will all but eliminate cursor sway when you lift your mouse off of the mouse pad. This is truly the best gaming mouse you can buy today.Read the full review: SteelSeries Rival 600 The SteelSeries Sensei 310 is a gaming mouse like no other, both in terms of price and performance. The low cost of admission keeps it on the same level that you’d expect to pay for a new game, while its out-of-this-world TrueMove 3 optical sensor makes it almost impossible to compete with. This mouse, with no preference when it comes to dexterity, is unparalleled when it comes to real-world sensitivity. You can even pick up the SteelSeries Rival 310 if you want similar performance, but a more right-handed approach to dexterity. Read the full review: SteelSeries Sensei 310 Wireless mice have had a shaky reputation among gaming enthusiasts for a while now, due to their losses in latency and reliability, but with the Corsair Dark Core RGB SE – that’s all changed. Boasting 1ms latency and a maximum DPI of 16,000 the Dark Core RGB SE defines what a wireless gaming mouse should look like in 2018 – delivering performance that’s on par with its wired contemporaries. It even supports Qi wireless charging, which means if you pick up the Corsair MM1000 Qi mouse pad, you can charge your phone while you play, then charge your mouse right on your mouse pad when you’re done for the night. Read the full review: Corsair Dark Core RGB SE Undeterred by years of ridicule for their comparatively higher latency, the Logitech G900 of yesteryear proved once and for all that wireless gaming mice don’t have to suck. Though it’s merely a subtle iteration on that model, the Logitech G903 only reassures us of that conviction. Gracing a slightly altered G900 design with Logitech’s own PowerPlay mouse pad that doubles as a wireless charger, the Logitech G903 is an expensive, yet rewarding investment. On one hand, the cost might deter someone who wasn’t likely to buy it anyway, but on the other, you’re getting a high-DPI wireless gaming mouse that contends with even Razer’s best.Read the full review: At first glance, you could be forgiven for assuming the Roccat Kone Aimo would be an unwieldy hardcore-only gaming mouse. You’d be wrong. Even with the plethora of buttons and mouse furniture sticking out, the Roccat Kone Aimo is a surprisingly ergonomic peripheral, which means comfort shouldn’t be an issue for even the longest gaming sessions. Packed with one of the most in-your-face RGB lighting setups we’ve seen in a mouse, along with its 10 programmable buttons, this is one of the best gaming mice you can buy in 2018.Read the full review: Roccat Kone Aimo If you need one of the best gaming mice, but are looking to save some cash at the same time – the Cooler Master MasterMouse MM520 might be what you’re looking for. It won’t win any beauty contests, but packing quality Omron switches and a reasonably sensitive sensor capable of up to 12,000 DPI, it’s easy to look past the unappealing design – especially if you use a claw grip.Read the full review: Cooler Master MasterMouse MM520 If you’re gearing up to represent either the Alliance or the Horde in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, you’re going to want to take a look at the Razer Naga Trinity. Razer’s Naga mice have always been aimed at MMO gamers, but the company wasn’t content to just appeal to that one niche. With the Naga Trinity, you’ll get 3 easily swappable side plates so that you can change your mouse to fit the game you’re playing. Aadd in the insane 16,000 DPI 5G Sensor and Razer Chroma RGB lighting, and you’ll top the DPS meters, and your gaming setup will look nice while you do it. Read the full review: Razer Naga Trinity If you find yourself snickering at some of the ridiculous gaming mice available in 2018, you should take a look at the HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB. Featuring extremely reliable Omron switches and gorgeous RGB lighting – not to mention its unbelievable 16,000 DPI sensor – you’re getting one of the best gaming mice for a great price. Plus, it’ll fit into any office, at least once you turn down the lighting effects. Read the full review: HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB From the moment you look at the price tag, it’ll be obvious that the Corsair Glaive RGB was meant to compete with the Razer DeathAdder Elite. And, while Corsair has had a ton of success with its PC cases, keyboards, RAM, power supplies and cooling systems, Corsairs mice have less of a history behind them. Luckily, the company’s latest gaming mouse effort is built for comfort, featuring a a coating of soft-touch paint and interchangeable thumb grips that enhance ergonomics even further. Additionally, the nearly perfect three-zone RGB lighting system and high-DPI Pixart sensor are just extra gravy. Read the full review: Corsair Glaive RGB It’s not everyday that we see a company known for its sound cards try to take on companies as renowned as Razer and Logitech with a competent gaming mouse of its own. Creative’s Sound BlasterX M04 is exactly that, however, and it’s actually fairly impressive. The 12,000 DPI rating means you won’t need to use pointer acceleration to use the mouse successfully. The RGB lighting scheme, which is controlled using Creative’s own Sound Blaster Connect software, is displayed across a subtle accent at the base of the mouse. Clearly, the Sound BlasterX Siege M04 is a winner in both function and style.Read the full review: Creative Sound BlasterX Siege M04 How to choose the best gaming mice 2017 Although you’re bound to determine the best gaming mouse for you based on our rankings, doing so is no effortless task.
