Maticevski 'Candescence Gown' - $5,510.00

Note that I’m working from low res screenshots but my best guess so far of this gown is this one by Maticevski. Of course, my greater thoughts are to come once we’ve fully absorbed both the music and the video this look is attached to but I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out the obvious similarities between this sculptural strapless gown (comprised of meters upon meters of crisp, crinkly cotton and arranged in this artful, marble statue-like draping) and the Schiaparelli gown Taylor wore to announce The Tortured Poets Department at the Grammys.

This particular gown is from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection - its name of course to me is most reminiscent of the worn ‘candescent’, meaning to glow.

I have been digging Dove’s fashion lately. She stuck to a black dress, but it looked much girlier and glamorous than what she’s been wearing recently. It felt less edgy, so it was a nice change of pace. I loved the little jeweled appliqué at the top of the bodice. I also think her hair and makeup were both gorgeous. A really beautiful look.

CARA DELEVIGNE at W Magazine’s Best Performers Party on February 25th 2023 wearing TONI MATICEVSKI

Cara was easily the best dressed in my opinion. She wore such a cool and interesting look. The layering in the looked was perfect and she really looked amazing. It was a perfect choice for this type of event. Just a really great showing from Cara.
