Except from Pidge's maybe crush on Lance and Lance's maybe crush on Allura (it honestly just looks like him flirting with her like he does with most girls rather than an actual crush)... and maybe Keith has a crush on Shiro? even then it seemsvmore like a family crush like I want you to be my big brother or something.

Hey, I was wondering about your opinion on the Mattxshiro ship? It’s totally cool if you don’t ship it, I’m just curious how you feel in general about the ship.

i loved shatt until s4 and that whole matt/allura interaction took place but now im not sure about it. alluras age is unknown but we do know she is a teen and we know shiro is about 25. and we really have no idea about how old matt is although i do have my theory which i have stated here and which i wholeheartedly believe.

if matt is 21 then yeah i would definitely be comfortable shipping shatt again and seeking out content for it. but the other part is alluras age and whether 21 is an inappropriate age to be hitting on her. im 21 and the youngest i would date is 19 which is technically still a teen. so if allura were 19 then i would be comfortable shipping shatt.

the show indicated that matt is young enough that hitting on allura isn’t creepy which means he could possibly be too young to be dating shiro. so until the next season or any season after that when hopefully the ages for EVERYONE are released i dont feel comfortable with the ship. theres entirely too much grey area which is not something i want to take advantage of yanno.

Hey @ you voltron fuckers did you HAVE to call it Shatt????? There were other options. Miro, for instance. I don't know. Or, even better: did it have to have a name? Did it? Could you not have just said "MattxShiro" like we did in the good old days? Why Shatt? Why???? I was on board, completely, until you gave me "shatt".
