Fuck it Taz Stardew Valley au bc @ohsweetflips‘s blog has me thinkin about one:

Taako and Lup inherit their Aunt’s farm when she passes. They are very excited to move in because they loved and miss her very much and also the jobs they were keeping to make do sucked. (alternatively they could jointly fill the role of Wizard Rasmodius but I’d rather someone be around to drive the plot lol)

Madame Director is Madame Mayor

Captain Davenport is an old sailor who lives alone on the beach

Merle runs the shop and “church” with his two kids. He keeps a garden out back and has many good farming tips for the player Taako and Lup once a certain friendship level is reached.

Working on his relationship with his kids, especially Mavis, is probably a “plot point” as well, similar to some of Abigail’s heart events.

Magnus runs the carpenter’s shop with his wife Julia! This is a happy au. One heart event includes leaving a wooden duck in your mailbox.

Barry is some kind of scientist. He doesn’t get out much lol, but he has a mushroom/fruit bat study going on in a cave on the twins’ property, so he does have to stop by pretty regularly.

Taako is going to kill his sister for coming up with excuses to romance the town nerd.

Kravitz lives alone in the woods and takes care of the town’s graveyard. Definitely some Supernatural Spooky Shit going on with that dude, and he gets out even less than Barry, but Taako is into it. 

Kravitz is also friends with the local ravens, and some kind of heart event definitely happens with that. “I believe the townsfolk are afraid of me. It is unfortunate, but I suppose it is human to be afraid of the unknown.”

No one is there to guide Taako and Lup on their “Magical” journey. They have to figure out how to speak the Dwarf’s language on their own time.

Angus spends much time at the local library! Heart events include his detective work concerning the Mystic Shit that’s been going on since Taako and Lup came to town. Optional adoptable character.

Carey and Killian are roommates. Killian runs the blacksmith’s shop and they definitely have feelings for eachother. Being part of the community for long enough culminates in their wedding as an event!
