"it was too funny" is by far the weirdest criticism i've heard of a marvel movie- especially a Thor movie- yet.
#i have heard this SO MANY TIMES#you really think that movie would be better without the humor??? it'd be a very depressing slog.#say what you REALLY mean- it was too sad and too funny at the same time and it gave ya emotional whiplash#i for one am emphatically pro movies getting conflicting about emotions#movies are so emotionally sanitized nowadays! don't get mad just because one dared to not do that!#maybe if 'too funny' isn't something you like Thor 4 just wasn't meant for you and that's okay!#go enjoy the shitloads of bland shit available to you! let us with more taste have this movie with a bit more kick!#stop complaining about it like you're entitled to every movie suiting your specific tastes!#so many movies are so blandly formulaic!#i'm SICK of 'this is a sad scene' 'this is a funny scene' 'this is a romantic scene'#MULTIPLE EMOTIONS CAN HAPPEN AT ONCE!#YOU CAN LAUGH AND CRY AT THE SAME TIME AND THAT'S GOOD!#and there's something to be said about how the humor makes the sad parts sadder#and the sad parts make the humor more cathartic#all in all I fucking LOVE the emotional goddamn rollercoaster that was Thor love and thunder#thor love and thunder
