For the longest time I've thought that YouTube hasn't changed that much but I decided to take a look at the wayback machine.

This is youtube on the 12th of September 2013, when I made my original channel that I use to this day.

Don't get me wrong, I was using YouTube even before I had a channel because I was a dumb kid who thought I'd have to immediately start making content.

This is the subscribe button I remember.

THIS LAYOUT is such a classic, I remember going to YouTube on my family pc and seeing this.

I remember doing my homework and having my phone behind me on the cabinet playing a video with the screen closed because it used to keep playing after turning the phone off.

But out of all the things that threw me back into my childhood,

This banner hit me the hardest.

I remember logging into the PC's in school and searching up 'Markiplier' on YouTube, clicking on his channel and seeing this banner at the top of the page.

I can not express how much I adore all of this.

It is my childhood in the literal sense.
