I've read Lola and Isla too, but Anna is still my favorite, because I love love the Parisian setting and totally went all fangirly over Etienne St. Clair. I obviously had to feature the A Song of Ice and Fire series for this, especially since the TV show's already in the middle of the Great War. I've been browsing my copy of The World of Ice and Fire every now and then and I just love all the history and new info we get on Martin's incredible fantasy world! It also doesn't hurt that the illustrations are just GORGEOUS. 😍❤️📚👍🏻📖👏🏻

#MayDisneyChallenge••• Day 13: Cinderella•••Book Set in a Castle. Have you guys read Kiera Cass' The Selection series? These books started out as cover buys for me--I mean just look at them!--but I ended up really enjoying the story! The premise is that the royal family in the story holds a Selection so that Prince Maxon can choose a bride, and girls from all over can participate. So of course most of the story takes place in a palace. #MayDisneyChallenge••• Day 27: Lady•••Unexpected Love. So maybe it wasn't totally unexpected, but I do love the whole slow-burn, low-key romance between Puck and Finn in The Scorpio Races. It's got this small island, mythical aesthetic too which is just wonderful. Now there's nothing unexpected at all about the romances in the Wolves of Mercy Falls, but that didn't stop me from rabidly shipping Sam+Grace and Cole+Isabel either! 😊❤️📚👏🏻😍📖👍🏻

#MayDisneyChallenge••• Day 3: Meeko•••Character Who is Always Hungry. I laugh at this prompt because the first thing that actually popped into my head is 'ME'. 😂 After some thinking, these books came to mind! Puck from The Scorpio Races comes from a poor family, so of course she and her siblings are always hungry, and this book made me crave November cakes! Lara Jean is always baking goodies so agh again these books are hunger-inducing. Finally we have Nina from the Six of Crows duology, who is basically the Waffle-Cookie-Grisha Queen. 😊❤️📚👏🏻😍📖👍🏻

I quite loved the sci-fi elements in the Maze Runner trilogy, and I must say even though I wasn't a big fan of The Death Cure book, I thought the movie was quite fun! I also recently got a cheap hardback of Illuminae, and I'm pretty excited to get to this because I feel like everyone loves it!
