Let's be honest, is there anything better than champagne and cake?! Of course not! Then why offer one type of champagne or cake when your guests can indulge in the unique tastes many?

It's the year to celebrate bubbles and with it we've seen a surge of bubbly towers and tastings. Not only does it make a beautiful and stunning visual statement, but guests can experience the joy and celebration of a variety of sparkling wines and champagnes at these lovely sipping stations. Featured here is our sipping station for a Minneapolis Institute of Arts event.

Pair these sophisticated sips with a shimmering glass, perhaps with a hint of gold or silver (depending on the event), and you have a stunning soiree in the making. 

And let's not forget the necessary sweet tooth indulgence to go with your glass of prosecco, brut or rose! Let them eat one, two, three kinds of cake with every topping too! 

Chef serviced cake stations are high in demand, offering guests a selection of cake and icing flavors, as well as garnishes to please their palette. At a recent event at the McNamara Wedding Showcase our D'Amico Catering guests sampled Banana Cake with Chocolate Ganache, Caramel Mousse and White Chocolate Buttercream, Triple Chocolate Torte, Devil's Food Cake filled with Fudge Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Mousse with Vanilla Buttercream, as well as White Cake with Lemon Raspberry Studded Mousse Filling with Pure White Frosting.

TOPPINGS options included: Chocolate Fudge Sauce, Raspberry Coulis, Crème Anglaise, Whipped Cream, Toasted Almond, Caramel Sauce, Toffee Brittle, Hibiscus Syrup.

It was a decadent sips and desserts event that left guest wanting for nothing and enjoying everything.

Miller Lite Vikings Pre-Game Party at the McNamara Alumni Center This Sunday!

Heading to the Vikings vs. Patriots game this Sunday? Tailgate with us and other Vikings fans this Sunday from 9 - noon at the McNamara Alumni Center, located at 200 SE Oak Street directly across from TCF Bank Stadium.  The party starts 3 hours prior to kickoff.  All are welcome. Free admission.

FOOD & DRINK:

Head inside the MAC to enjoy delicious food by D’Amico Catering (all your game day favorites like hotdogs, brats & pull BBQ pork sandwiches), non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages including Miller Lite beer, wine, and Bloody Mary’s for noon games.

VIKINGS TALK & CHEER:

Take in the live KFAN pre-game show broadcast with your favorite radio personalities! Get ready to cheer the Vikings on to victory while enjoying appearances by Vikings Alumni players, the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, the Vikings Skol Line and the Vikings Street Team. 

Join in the Fun at the Vikings Fan Zone

Enjoy a Vikings family friendly area at the Vikings Fan Zone located on Oak Street SE between TCF Bank Stadium and Mariucci Arena. Come listen to music, join in fan entertainment and interactive games. Also available in the Vikings Fan Zone will be a variety of food trucks including Andrew Zimmern’s Canteen, Gastro Truck, and Hot Indian for Sunday's game. There will also be face painters and alumni autographs. Don’t forget to stop by the Vikings Children’s Fund tent to spin the “Wheel of Fun” for your chance to win great prizes and partake in the VCF silent auction.
