MCR5 Theory: Secretary Gerard is a character called The Widow
I'm unsure if everyone is thinking along the same lines, but I have yet to see anyone talk about it, so I've put together this post with evidence and links. (this will expand on the 9/11 theory. also special shout out to @autistme who made a spreadsheet with all the aus eagles lyrics) MCR performed Eagles at all six Australia shows this tour. At five of them, Gerard was dressed in a grey suit and skirt, commonly referred to as the secretary or office lady by fans.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(📷 Dough Peters) Here's a quick reference table for the things I will be talking about here. (Not necessary to read, I will explain it all)
Tumblr media
At Brisbane, the drumheads read "everything under control" followed by "here comes the airplane". The planes have yet to hit the towers, but disaster is imminent. Eagles has evolved a lot over the tour but the Aus dates heard a new consistent change in the first verse.
All along the river bends All along with all my friends Yes, all around the river bends All together with my friends
There is minimal change for Brisbane 2. Notice how gerard is dressed as the secretary and says "my friends".
Next comes Melbourne 1. The drumhead reads "TErrOR". The plane has hit and there is a dramatic change to the first verse.
All night long the widow sends Valentines to bitter friends Yes, all night long the widow sends Valentines to all my friends
This character with friends now has a title, and it is The Widow. She has lost her husband in the attack. Her friends survived and she is sending them letters of love during this terrible time.
Melbourne 2, Gerard breaks the outfit chain. He is wearing jeans and a t-shirt, there is no hint of office wear, he is no longer playing the widow, he is playing himself. The drumhead also seems unrelated to 9/11 "BARK BARK BARK". They sing the same first verse as the previous night with minimal change, except for the last line
Valentines to all her friends
This is the only instance where Gerard does not refer to the friends as "my friends" at all during aus eagles, and it is because they weren't in the skirt suit that night, they were not the widow.
Next comes Sydney. The Widow is back and she's covered in blood! Something awful has happened to her, she's dying. But the drumhead reads "UNKILLAbLe". (This was written by Frank, an extremely powerful thing for him to do considering his accident in Sydney and PTSD. MCR has always used concept albums as a vessel to speak of things the band has been through.) The widow continues to write her letters during eagles despite the blood on her face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(📷 Jess Gleeson) Sydney 2. The Widow again. She is in the exact same outfit, down to her boots (sports mode), but this time she is not only covered in blood but her eyes are WHITE. She is dead! The drumhead now reads "Unkillables", this is no longer specifically just one, but multiple people. It could be mcr as a band, mcr as individuals, or mcr fans themselves. In the context of a concept album, unkillables can take on a whole new meaning. It brings to mind the supernatural, ghouls, vampires, werewolves. How is it that the widow is dead, yet she is walking on stage right in front of us? Staring at us with blank eyes on the big screen? Is she a ghost, a zombie? I'm not sure. But she is still the widow. Even in death, she is searching for her husband.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(📷 ashymcr , expiiredglitter)
Which leads me to Summertime. The piece of evidence that drove me to write this long-ass post. As we know, it is a love song about Gerard's marital partner. Before they played, Gerard spoke in a breathy and musically haunting voice "I'll find you. I'll find you. come find me." Definitely something a lost and ghostly widow would say. They also bring out a white handkerchief, they do not have it in any other songs. Throughout the performance, Gerard clutched it to their chest repeatedly and held it lovingly in both hands.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the third picture, he is looking down sadly at the handkerchief singing the line "If you stay, I would even wait all night." (video)
Tumblr media
This is very clearly The Widow. She is mourning her husband, she is dead, lost and searching for him. Perhaps the handkerchief is all she has left of him, or it is simply to dry her tears, but she is clearly in mourning for her marital partner.
And finally, Eagles at Sydney 2. The first verse stays the same except for the third line. "Yes, all night long the widow sends" becomes
Yes, all day long the widow sends
She is writing night and day. She does not rest. Her outfits in Sydney are exactly the same. Every single other secretary's outfit is subtlely different, but now she is dead, she is stuck in the same clothing like a ghost. The Widow also makes an appearance later in the song.
We found the widow And hit her with a baseball bat
I have less ideas of what this could be about, but I think if some dead lady was walking about being unkillable, people would get freaked and attack her with a baseball bat. The concept of "unkillables" is something I could write a whole other post about but I'll spare you for now.
To conclude, I think The Widow as a concept album character would fit right in with MCR. They are no strangers to lovers separated by death. Others on here have spoken on how the feminine outfits Gerard has chosen this tour have often been of women scorned or living in the shadows of powerful men. I believe The Widow would fit right in. Even after her husband has died, she is only talked about in reference to him. She is The Widow, something that tells us more about her husband than herself.

She said why would mcr go to the wwwy fest after there SWARM tour ended. She said it might mean they will annouce something. So maybe mcr at the wwwy fest might annouce MCR5 ??!

I got three hours of sleep last night, well yesterday cause I don't sleep at night but wait.. I was gonna say something but I forgot, God dammit
I don't know, should I even post this still?
I remembered, three hours of sleep last night, three cheers for sweet revenge? I think I had a MCR dream.. MCR has three letters in it M-C-R and three is just three.. Three plus three is six.. How many members were in MCR? 5 so if you take away 1 from 6 that's five.. Like how Bob was taken out of the band.. And that's MCR5
I think I'm on that za, bye!!! :DD

awtto toronto is my ryden seattle: a rambling
Tumblr media
yeah yeah ik ryden seattle has been debunked but this is similar enough to that and seems more plausible so. bear with me here. thanks to my good friend @filthyjanuary for actually watching all of this go down and having pics so i can be insane about it and write stuff like this lol.
also disclaimer before anyone tries calling me out. i don't actually know anyone in the band and this is all speculation for the sake of good ol fashioned real person fiction meaning don't take this too seriously and don't show this to the band or anyone connected to them. cool? cool.
night one: september 4, 2022
Tumblr media
waterparks were on their final opening spots (if you don't count la night 4) of their leg of mcr's return tour in toronto at scotiabank arena.
this was already a strenuous tour despite the short length because not only would this mark parx's first time playing arenas, but it directly followed their run on the sad summer tour that year, putting some extra strain on them. in some of my mutuals' words, awsten was annoying and sounded like shit.
up to this point, waterparks had been doing free meet & greets after shows. however, this would be the only show (besides la) they would not do m&g because awsten posted this on his story at roughly 11:21 pm.
Tumblr media
however, he was seen leaving the venue with otto roughly around 10:50 pm. a fan had caught them outside the venue by the buses and tweeted about the experience.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(note: the tweet embeds have timestamps in UST; these tweets were posted on the 4th at 10-11pm EST and the UST version is equivalent to that)
not anything too weird. they just left the set earlier than the rest of the band and crew since awsten was feeling out of it; lucas and geoff were seen leaving during the last song anyway.
the weird stuff starts with the fact that otto flooded the showers backstage (audio taken from this interview).
otto estimates that around 2:00 am, he was scrambling to find custodial staff to help him clean up his shower mess (literally a situation only he of all people would get in lol).
weird though, right? if otto was so concerned with cleaning up that mess, why would he leave with awsten long before he even tried? and even then, why would otto leave the set of his favorite band ever to go with awsten?
also let's shift to the day after: supposedly an anon of mine had met awsten in a starbucks the next day and said he was wearing the same clothes he had wore onstage on the 4th.
Tumblr media
they also said he smelled good but he always does
this would align with a couple of things i already thought were likely. there are a couple of starbucks locations in the area, but if awsten and otto had walked out on their own instead of with the crew, they were likely within a short distance of the arena to do so. as you can see there is not only a hotel within walking distance of the arena, but there is also a starbucks within the vicinity of the hotel.
Tumblr media
there's no proper way to put this and this is just rpf madness anyway but my theory is: they were sucking and fucking that night and awsten was tired enough after he slept in his stage clothes and sprayed a bunch of cologne on him for his coffee run the next day. end of story.
night two: september 5, 2022
Tumblr media
this show would mark parx's last opening slot for mcr before la night 4. my friend said awsten sounded better that night. can you sound better a night after getting dicked down? who knows that's an answer for science.
also after their set, parx were caught watching the show on the floor and awsten was sitting down with otto's hand on his shoulder and it was very cute.
Tumblr media
anyway, parx were able to do once final free m&g that night. one thing to note though was otto and awsten's change of clothes between their set and the m&g.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(terrible cropping and sorry to the fan i cropped out)
as you can (kinda) see, awsten is wearing a red tank top and otto is wearing a yellow shirt during the show. however, once their set was over, awsten and otto decided to wear matching mcr merch (and not tell geoff because he's still wearing the same shirt from onstage).
what would make these two do this who knows. they're no strangers to sharing or matching clothes anyway but it is sorta funny to me how they're matching like a couple and leaving their own bandmate to third wheel that lol.
was something in the air between awsten and otto in toronto? maybe, but it's not like we'll ever know. i can only imagine what they could've done.....

i never gotten this whole recent movement in fandoms to try and reimagine bands and artists as actually something revolutionary leftist especially when they are not? maybe because i enjoy bands like radiohead and the smiths so i am just now numb to bullshit and disappointment and to know to never actually go into enjoying art expecting that the people who made that art to be something to look morally up to
but the weird notion that “um ACKSHULLY this band’s silly performance is actually a subliminal marxist leninist message to unite the workers against big bad music corporations” is so wild to me…it’s like those christian mom statements about emo bands being liberal homosexuals but this time said by chronically online tumblrinas and unironically
Right now I feel like MCR fans are under a very big insecurity complex because their band has been taunting them with an album for like 5 years now. The PR or whatever (moreso early on) is always Very Big and Very Serious so people want the album to be like the best ever and during this time several “dumb” bands like FOB and Blink have done some pretty big stuff whereas pretty much daily MCR fans have been logging on here to write conspiracy theories and fall for morse code ask box hoaxes to no avail. There was also way more content over the hiatus than there is now, and this period is rapidly approaching the length of their hiatus now.
So everything MCR do have to be like bigger and cooler than everyone else so people aren’t forced to accept what has been the truth for half a decade now — that MCR went on a nostalgia bait reunion tour and there was never an album and they played the nostalgia bait festival like everyone else. Maybe there will be an album at some point, but in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, there was no album. Which is fine, but not if youre a MCR fan who is being let down and doesn’t want to accept that.
I also think MCR fans are very comfortable with Lying because the band arguably Lies all the time and is also Very Serious about their PR lies, unlike Cobra for example. This creates an environment where making shit up to seem cool is okay, which is like fine when it’s about comic books and ghosts or whatever
But there has been Nothing To Lie About for a very long time so people have started making up their own very not okay Tumblrina La La World where Gerard is a schizophrenic woman with an eating disorder and “smears on dollar store eyeshadow” and “slaps on thrift store dresses” at MCR shows because they “hate capitalism” instead of having Taylor Swift’s stylist make his looks. So fans still can turn around and shit on FOB for collaborating with capitalist Taylor Swift. Cuz you know, FOB have an album and they don’t.
They also play pretend that in 2005 MCR were an underground punk band playing $20 house shows instead of accepting the reality that My Marxist Romance and every other famous band ever used to cost $20 10-15 years ago but have astronomically raised their prices by like 20x and now shows routinely cost $400+. Because if they don’t invent that world, they have to accept that MCR aren’t as like radical as they pretend and are the same as every other band like FOB and Blink—only diff is that those bands have albums.
I think that nobody is saying that WWWY is radical protest NOW but there were several very egregious Posts going around the first time about how MCR “blew their money on confetti and didnt keep any for themselves to protest ticket prices” which were just so out of line and ridiculous to say.
And right now one of the biggest MCR bloggers is getting (imo) one of the most massive callouts in recent band history, so people who saw the posts and disagreed with them initially but were scared of getting into fights with people who would have their followers dogpile on them finally feel comfortable making fun of the people saying that

i love how mcr fans are so desperate and so in drought of mcr stuff that we go absolutely feral about everything and anything the members do.
upload 1(one) picture of some questionable bread? that's content for weeks. we're going to milk that shit dry. abuse that content until there's literally no more stuff to get out of it. literally like yeah that bread was pretty weird but bitch it's been, what, a week? something like that? and a good chunk of my dash STILL is bread jokes like holy shit.
member sightings? suddenly half of mcrblr has it as a pfp and/or have it flooding their dashboard. posts of them get absolutely flooded with notes; "wife sighting", "babygirl is alive", "my favorite lesbian is thriving", "someone get their ass to the studio", "grrrhhrgrhrgrgrg clawing at the walls of my enclosure".
even things that have nothing to do with it- easter, crucifixion friday, whatever. crucifixion? get ready for unholyverse references. stigmata jokes. frank iero. everything can be a mcr reference if you try hard enough- heck, even without trying that hard.
OH AND DON'T FORGET- absolutely ANYTHING that they do will get analyzed to hell and back and somehow linked to mcr5 theories. mikey baked some bread? bread is a 5 letter word. 5? like mcr5? that must mean it's coming 5oon y'all. gerard is making a comic? and he was with at least 5 other people in that one image? 5? like mcr5- you get the point.
i'm not complaining btw i love going absolutely batshit feral over my favorite 40-something year olds, but holy shit.

i have an mcr5 theory i would like to propose to you because i know you keep up with updates and things about mcr5 so i am offering this:
october 2022 mcr played 5 shows in la yeah? but then each night, they primarily played songs from each of their corresponding albums, for example: night one they played over half of bullets, night two they played primarily songs from three cheers. (checked the setlist for the 3rd and 4th shows, they follow the same pattern)
now in the case of the 5th show, oh no! what to do! there’s no more albums to use! UNLESS mcr5 drops on october 17th kinda completing the album the “album series” thing they had going for the la shows. am i making sense? am i going insane? we are seriously tinfoil hatting this afternoon.
This reminds me of when everyone thought they were gonna announce something at the final LA show last year!! If this is true, then it’s coming a full circle haha
October 17th is now a date to look out for y’all

Early Sunsets over Monroeville - MCR Interviews
89.5 WSOU FM Interview - 7/11/02
14:12-15:33, 20:21-20:32, 21:20-21:28, 21:47-21:51
youtube
Interviewer: Do you think that added to the performance, that you had to actually get through the pain? Gerard: For Early Sunsets Over Monroeville, definitely. I was in-- It was like, I don’t know like 10-- 9:30 at night. We were just getting ready-- It was the last song we did for the day, and I was in so much pain. And I just-- you know Geoffy [Geoff Rickly] was like, “Alright, let her rip.” Interviewer: That’s the mellow song, right? Ray: Right, that’s the-- what’s awesome about that too is the last, I think it’s like the last 3 minutes of that song is just one take, no edits, no stops, no cuts. It’s just...It’s an amazing performance by-- by him and just by all of us, I think because we-- we wrote that song like a few days before we went into the studio. It wasn’t finished when we recorded it, so it was just us, you know, kinda letting all of us [unintelligible], you know? Interviewer: (Overlapping) It was your studio song. Ray: Right, we wrote it in the studio. Interviewer: Well since we’re hyping this up so much... (Ray laughs) We might as well play it ‘cause everyone out there’s going “Wow, sounds like a great song.” Ray: Hopefully Interviewer: “I wanna hear him crying.” (Ray and Gerard laugh) “I wanna hear that tooth.” (Continued laughter) So, I guess let’s go into a little bit background of the song, and then we’ll play the song for everybody, and everyone can hear. Gerard: Okay, Mikey does not want me to reveal-- Interviewer: He’s going “No! You’re out!” Gerard: (Overlapping) what the song is about, but if you-- there’s plenty of clues in it, so if you figure out, it’s-- I’ll say it’s about a film. Is that enough? Ray: Yeah, that’s good. Gerard: Okay, you can figure out-- Ray: (Interrupting) Horror film Gerard: Alright. (Pauses then laughs) You messed it up! (Arguing in background)
Interviewer: What are some of your favorite songs off this record to play live and actually-- or during the recording process? Ray: Um, I think recording process-wise, definitely “Monroeville.”
Frank: (Talking about his favorite songs) And “Monroeville” because I had no clue what I was gonna do. (Interviewer laughs) I wrote it in the van before we recorded, and I had like frostbite on my fingers so it kinda sucked.
Mikey: I like the “Monroeville” song. (To Gerard) It was fun watching you tweak out at the end. (Gerard laughs)

Noise Theory Interview - 11/13/02
Page 1, paragraph 5
Tumblr media
Interviewer: Even though ‘My Chemical Romance’ as a band have been together only a short time, the album displays some excellent and mature song writing skills. Were the album songs written after the band became complete? Ray: We started in October 2001, and had written 5 songs by January 2002. This was when the band was still a four piece. The rest of the songs came together a few weeks before we went to record. Honey This Mirror and Early Sunsets were written about a week before we left for the studio. We asked Frank to be in the band around the same time, so to get his input on those songs really helped them become what they are.
/
HardcoreNJ Interview - March/April 2003
Paragraph 3
Tumblr media
Interviewer: What was the inspiration behind "Early Sunsets Over Monroeville"? Matt: Musically there wasn't any inspiration, 2 days before the recording I happened to be strumming an acoustic guitar in our practice space, and the guys all seemed to like what I was playing (which is a rarity). Anyways, we knew we wanted something different on the record to reflect our softer side. I think it was the most magical part of recording process, seeing a 2 day old song kinda just work, we didn't even have an ending for it. We all just jammed it out improvising. Oh, and the vocals were inspired by a certain movie...

89.5 WSOU FM Interview - 7/3/03
8:25-8:31, 8:59-10:27
youtube
Interviewer: Alright, so, we’re gonna hear “Monroeville.” Ray: It’s a slow one. Grab your girl...and then shoot her in the head. (Laughter)
Interviewer: I remember a long time ago when you were recording this record that you had a problem while you were singing this song. Gerard: Yeah, I had a hole in my tooth and an abscess in the hole, and it was pushing against all the nerves in my face, and it looked like I had Parkinson’s, and it was (a?) drag, and it-- Interviewer: And your face was droopy, and-- Gerard: It was drooping, and I looked like a-- I went to hospitals the whole time we were recording, and they thought I had facial nerve paralysis, nerve damage, so I had to do that song, like basically with, yeah like the most intense pain and half a face. (Dramatically) Half a face! Interviewer: So, alright, everyone listening out there, now you know he did this song with half a face. Gerard: (After a pause) Half a face. (Laughter) Interviewer: How did you feel about the song after you played it? I know you must have been like, you know, “This can’t be the best I can do” because you’re all messed up and stuff. (Ray protesting in background) Gerard: It felt like that, but (Unintelligible as Gerard and interviewer talk at the same time) when I was doing it, but everybody was so psyched on it when I did it-- Ray: Psyched! People were crying-- Gerard: They were crying man (Laughter) Ray: It was amazing. It was the most amazing, definitely the most amazing-- Matt: (Overlapping) Yeah, we were definitely a bunch of wusses. Frank: Alright, correction, not a bunch of wusses. Ray and Otter (Matt) cried. (Laughter) That’s what happened. Ray: No no no, I will definitely say I-- Mikey: The red sea might have been parted when my brother did that part. Ray: I cried. I think Alex [Saavedra] might have shed a singular tear. Interviewer: A singular tear? Ray: It was definitely some crying going on. (Matt talking in background) Gerard: (Overlapping) I got a hug after that one Ray: (Overlapping) It was bad. Gerard: (Overlapping) I got a hug. I got lots of hugs after that. Interviewer: (After a pause and laughter) Alright, so how’d you feel about the hugs afterwards? Gerard: The hugs were sweet. (Laughter in background) The record was sweeter.
/
Punk It Interview - 10/29/03
Paragraph 28
Tumblr media
Sev (Interviewer): What are some of the biggest disagreements amongst yourselves? Gerard: We mesh really well musically and personally. We all have a good time, so there's probably not that many disagreements. The only thing I think we ever disagree upon is if we're going to play "Early Sunsets Over Monroeville" or not. We had a little thing tonight. Some guys wanted to play it tonight, but I'm not sure. It's an ad lib song - the first verse was written, but the last part of the song was freestyle. And I'm not fucking Eminem, so unless the vibe is right, I don't like to do it. I did it in Chicago because the vibe was perfect. It basically happens in the middle of the set. We feel the energy, and if they can deal with it, we can deal with it.

Life On the Murder Scene - 2005

Ray: And Frank played on 2 of the tracks off the first record, and one of them was “Early Sunsets Over Monroeville.” (“Early Sunsets” begins to play) Ray: He just plays some great, great parts. Frank: (Cuts to different interview) When we were doing “Monroeville”, Ray was laying down his parts, and as soon as he was done, I took the parts that they had recorded into a van, that had like no heat, outside the studio and wrote what I was gonna play. Ray: (Back to first interview) A lot of the melody that he plays during the verses and the choruses is just, you know, absolutely beautiful, and I think really makes those songs work.
/
Barcelona Live Stream - 3/5/11
6:10-6:34
youtube
Ray: (Reading a live chat feed) Ooh, would you ever play “Early Sunsets”? Frank: Oh, we have (turns to Ray while Mikey speaks in the background) this tour? I don’t know. Ray: I can’t even remember the last we played that. Frank: I think it was in Chicago. Ray: Yeah? Mikey: (After a pause) Oh yeah, we played it in the Metro. Gerard: (Unintelligible as multiple people speak) like “The End”? Frank: Yeah Ray: That would be a cool one to revisit. Gerard: It was a cool-- I think especially if we give it some structure at the end like, ‘cause that was the problem with playing that song. It has no definitive ending, like it kinda just keeps going and going.

Kerrang #1376 (alt) - 8/10/11
Page 3, paragraph 11
Tumblr media
Interviewer: I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love” was released in July 2002. What do you think of it now? Ray: You can hear the nervousness and excitement. Every song speeds up which gives them a lot of character. I like the rawness, especially in the vocals. It sounds very true. I get emotional, too. Early Sunsets Over Monroeville is unlike anything we’ve ever done since -- it’s amazing.

Where Are Your Boys Tonight? (Chris Payne) - 2020-2022
Chapter 9, page 113
Tumblr media
Geoff Rickly: When we were in the studio, Gerard’s wisdom teeth were really hurting him, and he wasn’t able to sing, so he went to the dentist to have them out and afterwards they gave him a bunch of painkillers. He didn’t sing with the fire or the venom, so Alex took the painkillers away from him. Like, “You gotta sing in pain, fuck you! You gotta feel it!” I was taking the painkillers, watching him sing the record. I remember lying on the floor and coaching him through how to sing “Early Sunsets Over Monroeville,” the ballad on the record. I was saying, “You’re following the music, make the music follow you. More intense! The music will catch up to you.”

Auctober day 5! (late, f)
Tumblr media
Music is. A lot. LOL
If I'm overwhelmed and I need a break from the world? Listen to music. If I'm feeling overstimulated by loud noises? Pop on some headphones and drown it out with MCR. Need to stim? Just let my body move to the tempo.
Sometimes I'll even just pop on some orchestral ost and lay there, cover my hat over my eyes and feel the music saturate my insides. It's so good that I cry.
And THEN there's the theory of it. Learning to play instruments that let me learn my favourite songs from scratch, replay them to infinity until they're memorized in every fibre of my being. Playing and then harmonizing with my voice and crying how gorgeous the harmony sounds. Or just sitting down and stimming by playing the same song on loop, feeling my hands move in the same pattern over and over again.
I play instruments quietly, I'm embarrassed to even sing in front of people, but that's because it's for me. I play for me. And it's really therapeutic.

They met through Miles and when Kay first introduced herself as "The Great Thief", Simon was ready to throw hands but then Miles explained the situation. She steals the evidence that people who shouldn't be working for the law hide and she exposes them.
2.
They work on tons of cases together because Kay is also a prosecutor. Kay pays attention to all details and searches every suspicious looking nook and cranny and she can climb, jump from high places and Simon can pick up and break things quite easily so their investigations are a breeze.
3.
Kay is pretty chaotic and energetic meanwhile Simon is tired asf. So she does her best to make him a little more energetic by trying to hype him up and do anything in her power to make him not look intimidating or depressed 24/7.
4.
Simon is a heavy sleeper, Kay can barely make him wake up and she has done some weird hairstyles with his hair when he is asleep. He does get mad when he wakes up an realise/realize but he doesn't do anything because he knows that Kay is just fooling around and doesn't mean any harm, + he loves her too much.
5.
Kay loves to do weird crafts and make stuff. She has made benches, chairs, tables and bags from multiple things and she gets Simon to help her make these things.
6.
She has a crow called "Yatagarasu" and it gets along very well with Taka. They used their birds to mess with the others. Like when Simon tied a small note onto Taka's leg saying "I'll meet you in the park on Saturday, 2 P.M. sharp." and sent it to Klavier, then Kay tied a small note on Yatagarasu's leg saying the same thing but she sent it to Apollo, the birds left the notes and that's how Klapollo came to be. Trucy has kidnapped both birds and made them act in one of her magic shows once, Kay and Simon asked everybody about the birds and a month later, they were home and they saw their birds with Trucy on stage. They were kinda proud to see how well-trained their birds are.
7.
They sometimes watch cursed, conspiracy theories about Miles's prosecutors' building. Things like "This prosecutors' building is haunted." or "This prosecutors' building is hiding a very dark secret." and they'd make fun of these videos because they're hilarious.
8.
Kay steals whatever shirts and sweatshirts Simon has, wether he likes it or not. All his shirts are hers as well.
9.
They make fun of the stupid witnesses in their trials when they're home. If Kay has a really stupid witness that lied for absolutely no reason at all, she goes home and makes fun of the witness and mocks them. However, Simon doesn't mock them or make fun of them, he complains to Kay by telling her how stupid the witness was and SHE makes fun of the witness. Simon loves it.
10.
They watch the same shows and animes and they argue a LOT on who the best characters are, what the best episodes are, etc.. They argue like they do in court but they're just bluffing and neither of the 2 admit defeat EVER, they are gonna defend their fictional characters to the ends of the Earth.
11.
Kay sometimes accidentally flusters Simon to the point his face becomes as red as a tomato and he can't speak without stuttering. She does this by accident and is kinda surprised when it happens. It always happens by accident, it has never happened intentionally and Kay loves to make fun of how red his face gets.
12.
Kay is an early bird, Simon is not despite them sleeping at about the same time. Kay is barely able to wake Simon up and when they first started dating she used to wake him up by a kiss on the lips, then a few months later she started to play MCR music or wake him up by tickling but now, she does the most obnoxious things ever. She has dumped water onto his face, thrown pillows at him, pushed him off the bed, and she once literally hired a trombonist to come to their house and play as loud as they possibly can to wake him up. She ended up paying the trombonist 780 dollars.

with season two airing next week who else got from theories
oh my god do I have theories. my main theory is that
1. the town separated from the timeline in the 1960s-70s, which is when the current system started. all the Things are the original inhabitants of the town that have undergone a process of transformation. in victor’s origin flashback, the merry go round the boy in white plays on isn’t rusted and the town isn’t dilapidated. plus, the clothing of the Things all match that era.
2. I think the town and colony house are from two different timelines that have converged, and the land they’re on might even be a third timeline. it’s the only way I can rationalize the distinctions between jade’s civil war flashbacks/the existence of colony house and the modern town that was built way after that.
3. the Things are like an insect swarm, inspired by cicadas. 1. im an mcr blog 2. they operate under some sort of psychic / hive mind communication, live underground and surface at night, and they rise cyclically. in tabitha’s dream and in boyd’s bottle, I think the numbers are years that correspond to high points in the cycle where they rise and recede. this is what victor was measuring with the trees.
3. the boy in white is separate from the Things, and is legitimately helpful to people by saving them from non-Thing related near death experiences. he only appears to victor after the massacre, to ethan after the crash, and to sarah in the woods in the storm. I trust him.
4. jade, tabitha, and sarah are more susceptible to psychic connections/visions, but the visions can NOT be trusted. just as a Thing spoke to jim over the radio, we do NOT know who is communicating with them. jade is tapped into colony house/the civil war era, tabitha is tapped into the lighthouse, and sarah is just being played.
5. I don’t think they’re dead. I think the conversation between father khatri and tabitha was more to give a nod to the from creator also being the lost creator where spoiler alert they are all already dead. I don’t think it would be the same thing twice. but there ARE some biblical allegories happening. I’ve seen the boy in white is god/the devil/an angel theories but I don’t think that’s what he is but who knows! who fucking knows. if they ARE in a biblically evil place, which I’m not sold on, then someone/thing is controlling the flow in and out of the place.
anyway please send me from theories I need to hear your from theories
