I would be careful with your soul collection idea... From the stories I heard of these statues can just pull someone's soul out of their body... They seem to do that to people that are either 'evil' or they dislike. (There is a Yiga note about of one of them dying, because they got to close to one of the bargainers) For what do you need the souls? Do you want to creat your own monsters or do something similar?
