How I feel about this character

So this might be obvious just by looking at the contents of my Ace Attorney tag but, uh, I love this dude. His design is right up my alley (Godot hot), his bullshit philosophy 101 quotes make me laugh every time, and he is heavily traumatized and that pushed him to make some very questionable decisions and I love this stuff narratively. Complex characters~

I’ve seen some nice Miego around, and while I tend to see that relationship as one-sided on Diego’s part, I can enjoy it when I see itSometimes I have fun imagining him with Edgeworth, because they would clash a lot and they’re both emotionally constipated and it would be a dumpster fire and I for one am here for it (I feel like they’d be compatible on a physical level tho, for some reason)I don’t know who Simon Blackquill is or what he does but I’ve seen him shipped with Godot and the way their designs look next to each other pleases meHim having a fling with Ron DeLite at one point is hilarious to me for some reason (Désirée high-fives Ron before leaving them to it)

Mia - like I’ve said, I tend to read their relationship as mostly platonic with some one-sided romantic attraction on Diego’s part, and I hella love the way Diego mentors her in Turnabout BeginningsAlso the way Maya defends him and he’s like “nah sis don’t” but she still insists on lying for his sake... it makes me feel things

It’s surprisingly unpopular to like him ??? He’s a good character you guys, stop picking on him

We all wish he’d done some better choices, but that’s too ooc. I wish he stopped calling Mia kitten in court tho, that’s annoying

How I feel about this character

All the boys in Kazetsuyo are great and Prince is no exception. His progression throughout the series was so goddamn inspiring, and I love that he never grew to really like running - it’s a realistic touch that I appreciate very much. Reading in silence next to a friend is a spiritual experience. His “why?” t-shirt is my favorite thing

Are there even unpopular opinions in this fandom ?? Whatever I’ll just put a hc here : he likes romance stories the best because he doesn’t experience the feeling himself and is curious about it. It’s like a weird puzzle he keeps prodding at to see how it works

I wish there was more of canon,,,, but yeah I’m overall very satisfied with his arc, so I don’t really have anything to say here

He’s not actually as serious as I’ve seen him depicted in fics and, if left unsupervised, is perfectly capable of being worse than Shimazaki in bullshit levels
