Would These Cosmere Characters Survive Email?

There was a post I saw talking about how Achilles of Iliad fame would not survive sending one polite email, despite being good at, you know, war and stuff. It got me wondering: Would Cosmere characters succeed if they had to Send Email?

1. Steris: Yes

Steris is a master of email. She's cutting down her enemies with "per my last email" and "just to make sure we're all on the same page" and she knows how to use both CC and BCC.

2. Vin: No

Vin is leaping out the window at the first sign of email.

3. Kelsier: In a way

Kelsier signs off every email with "Smiles :)" which is terrifying, given some of the emails he writes.

4. Marsh: Yes

Marsh doesn't think that Kelsier writes good emails. Marsh, however, feels that he writes very good emails. Most of which contain the word "however."

5. Lezian: No

Much like Achilles in the post I saw, Lezian would die if he had to send one (1) polite email.

6. Sadeas: Yes

Sadeas has one of those fancy email signatures that says "Torol Sadeas" with green lettering in a cursive font. Adolin has always been secretly jealous of it.

7. Dalinar: No

Dalinar strikes me as one of those people who are incapable of answering more than one question in an email, who when asked, "Would you like to have the meeting Tuesday or Wednesday," simply respond "Yes."

8. Marasi: Moreso than she thinks

Marasi is always having a friend read over her email for her to make sure it's okay, but she's actually very good at email and probably doesn't need to do that.

9. Vivenna: Less so than she thinks

Vivenna writes emails that are politic but incisive...and never once has she been understood properly. Greg from IT still hasn't forgiven her for that email she sent a year ago that Vivenna thought was pretty charming.

10. Jasnah: Yes

Jasnah's emails are long, polished, and perfectly grammatical, and her eye only twitches a little bit when she gets "yeag" in response.

11. Lightsong: Yes but also no

Lightsong's emails are great! But of course, it's actually Llarimar writing them according to his "interpretation" of what Lightsong says.

12. Shallan: Yes but also no

Shallan was taught Proper Email Technique as part of her education. But also she saw that "Your timesheets are now three days overdue" email...and then she ceased to see it, and now she's busy designing Adoliin a new email signature that's way better than Sadeas's and uh maybe Radiant needs to take over again.

13. Adolin: No

The worst turn-based combat, in Adolin's opinion, is email. Why can he not simply duel Maurice from Accounting with swords?

14. Sarene: Yes

Sarene's favorite turn-based combat is email. Because she always wins.

15. Raoden: Yes but it's not his favorite

Raoden would much rather pick up the phone or stop by your office, but he can do email if he needs to. It's just much better to talk in person, you know?

16. Fort: No

His emails keep getting flagged as spam. If he didn't put "Great Deal!!!" as his subject every time maybe it would be different.

17. Yumi: No

It's not that she writes bad emails exactly, but she definitely overwrites them. Her intro paragraph is always like five lines long, and her conclusion turns "best wishes" into like nine sentences.

18. Rlain: Yes

Rlain is unfailingly polite in emails, even when he is responding to one that was...less than polite.

19. Sazed: Yes

Sazed's emails are meticulous and well-written, and he can always cite the exact policy he needs.

20. Renarin: It's mixed

Renarin appreciates that email allows you to consider and craft your response, but he does NOT appreciate that tone is impossible to determine. When his boss wrote, "We need to have a meeting," Renarin thought he would die (it ended up being about what color balloons to order for Sharon's birthday). Renarin just wishes humans would use email tone indicators like the Singers do.

🐶 how did he bag you? It’s the question everything will ask. Wooin especially. Expect to see him A LOT. Like. Almost every second. He thinks it’s funny that joker has a girlfriend because he thinks joker is totally unfit to be one.

🐶 Joker would actually be very busy, even as a boyfriend. He weekend multiple jobs to support his family. No matter what it takes as we have seen him do rather unmoral things in wind breaker self. He’ll fight him.

🐶 it depends on if you also cycle, but if you do it would be quite common for him to just cycle with you around the city. Yes you will spot familiar faces. Yes the all would be in shock that joker has a normal girlfriend. Actually. That he even has a girlfriend to begin with point blank. Fuyumi sighed, watching you, “Please, be careful..” Her voice was soft. She wasn’t planning to stop you. She knew she couldn’t. You were stubborn. A trait almost all of her sibling had.

You looked over your shoulder at her, a soft smile reaching your lips after a moment when you turned to look at her, “Don’t worry, Yumi. I’ll be fine.” You told her.

Fuyumi sighed again, reaching out to grab your hand when you offered it to her. You held her hand for a moment before letting it slip out of her grip and exiting the home that was never truly a home.

Fuyumi was the only thing that made it a home for you.

Fuyumi was the only sense of stability you had.

Your mother was in the mental hospital for a majority of your life before of Endeavor. Shoto was always training with him. You’d see him crying a lot. And honestly, you were jealous when UA implemented dorms. He was able to get out.

But you were only a year younger than him. Too young to go to UA yet.

You looked at your phone when it buzzed.

> Yumi (7:23 am): Be. Careful.

You rolled your eyes, putting your phone away and looking across from you where you sat on the bus.

The bus came to a stop. You stood from your seat, staying a moment to help an elderly woman just getting on sit down where you had sat.

“Hello,” the woman greeted you.

You almost saw what you assumed might be shock.

“I um..” you weren’t sure what to say. You probably planned out some like.. speech or something.

“Well you’ve grown up.” His voice broke your thoughts.

You moved out of the doorway and a little farther into the hospital room.

“Yeah..” He spoke, his gaze traveling over your face. “Especially the eyes.”

You looked down at your hands for a quick moment.

“You can see your emotions in your eyes.” He said, “Just like mom.”

You moved to grab a chair, moving it closer to the side of his bed before you sat down.

“How..” you looked at him. “How is she?” He asked, voice still hoarse. You stared at him for a moment.

“She’s.. She’s well.” You told him with a curt nod. “She was finally released from the Psychiatric ward. Just a little while before..” You paused.

“I’m in your debt Fuyumi,” you told your older sister.

“Huh!” She looked at you, almost startled. “What! Don’t even say that!”

“You raised me, that wasn’t your job, Yumi.” You told her, “therefore, I am in your debt!”

“I was just worried about you.” You finally said.

“Worried..?” He repeated, looking over at you. “You don’t know me.”

“I’m sorry for what Endeavor did..” You told him abruptly, looking down.

“Don’t apologize for that asshole,” he told you.

“I’m not apologizing for him,” you said. “I’m apologizing for what you had to go through.”

He was at a loss for words as he stared at you. You were stubborn. It was so easy to tell.

You were stubborn like him and Natsuo.

But the care in your eyes.. that was undoubtedly like Fuyumi’s.

That’s a dangerous combination. The stubbornness of him and Natsuo and the caring kindness of Fuyumi.

He let out a huff. “What’s your quirk?”

“Scalding Frost.” You told him, “I can create a frost like mom’s, but it’s all incredibly hot so the frost melts almost instantly. But I can control the hot water once it melts.”

“Hm..” he hummed.

You sat in the quiet for awhile. You staring down at your fidgeting hands, him stuck in his thoughts while staring at the plain ceiling.

You looked Rei. You had her eyes you could see every emotion in. You could see all the care, all the worry.

He saw it immediately when you had peeked into the hospital room.

“You give Endeavor hell?” He asked abruptly.

“Huh?” You looked at him before getting what he meant, “Oh!” You practically lit up. “Mhm, mhm,” you hummed while nodding your head. “I can’t give him hell like Natsuo or Shoto. But I give him the cold shoulder a lot!”

“Heh,” a lazy smirk of amusement came reached his lips, “good.”

Your eyes widened slightly. He looked. Almost proud.. Proud that you would give your so called father the cold shoulder.

Your heart warmed.

“I should probably get going!” You stood up abruptly.

CAMPING WITH... SOFTWILLY

It's 50/50 whether you asked him to go camping or if it was him, he enjoys the outdoors but he can be lazy. He's more likely to ask to go to the gym together.

Nick tries his best to pack what you'll need but expect to end up with 6 bags of hot cheetos in both of your bags and some bug spray.

Definitely vlogging the experience.

Lots of protein bars, beef jerky, all the stuff to keep his protein count up. Lots of hot dogs.

If you want to try to do "real" camping, don't expect for it to work out. Expect a rehash of the DoorDash pizza incident.

When he's bored, he either does nothing and sits around or he gets strangely productive.

"Nick, baby, why are you running three miles?" "I'm bored!"

But what he won't do is put up a tent solo. If you can somehow get him to try, do not expect it to go well.

Will be more concerned with finding the biggest rock to pick up and use as a mallet than getting the hooks in the ground at all.

Asks for you to take photos of him. A photoshoot of Nick with the sunset is mandatory. He will try to make his muscles look good.

He gets so hungry so fast. It's a joint effort trying to cook up the hotdogs, unfortunately half of them either end up completely blackened or in the fire itself.

He does a great job trying to make sure your food looks good and makes sure you get the best one, though. It's the little things.

He wants to stargaze. Once it's dark and you've eaten, you lay out on a blanket and watch the stars.

He's always got an arm around you, holding you as the air turns colder and trying to keep you warm.

If anyone else comes around the camp, he acts strangely macho and protective of you until they leave. He looks like a guard dog.

When you and Nick are finally worn out from the day, you climb into your tent and he holds you close.

You slip into sleep but wake up when you're cold and notice Nick has turned away from you, and he's breathing hard.

Turns out, he got really hard as you were falling asleep and was trying to take care of it himself.

That just wouldn't do. In an instant, clothes were off and you were on your hands and knees taking him.

Nick is also rough. He likes hearing you loud, and he will get results. If there's any campers nearby, they know his name.

It's a quicker fuck, given he was already half there by the time you caught him, but you finished twice over before he did.

You finally do go back to bed a mess and one of Nick's arms around you. He doesn't cling to you, but that's only because he's overheated from all the work he puts in.

You wake up first to him rutting against you in the morning. Round two continued from last night ensues.

It's slower, but that's only because he's still waking up.

You stay in the tent for a while cooling off before finally getting up around eleven, but that's only because Nick just wants to go home. Both of you miss AC and chilling at your computers.

He's much more efficient packing the camp up than he was setting it up. When he puts his mind to it, Nick will get results.

You're home by noon. You take half an hour to chill in Nick's bed before he's wanting to lay on the couch watching anime and order food.

Camping is a somewhat success.

The plane ride was so quick you barely got any sleep, but you still felt well-rested as you and the girls got off the plane and were rushed to the cars.

You made sure Han knew you were on your way before putting your phone up and deciding on staring out the window for the 15-minute car ride.

You didn’t bother texting your mom back. You felt both guilty and relieved. You don’t know what made you finally decide to get some help, but you’re glad your patience wore thin. In your heart, you understood that going at least low contact with her would be the best decision to make.

Before you knew it, you were at the hotel and being rushed in. You knew you and your soulmates wouldn’t be on the same floor, but you weren’t new to sneaking around to see them at this point.

Almost three months after you got your mark, you were beyond comfortable with the members. After your rough debut week, you guys started to talk every day and if you couldn’t see each other in person, FaceTime was your go-to. You still needed more time to get to know them on a deeper level, but you truly felt a love towards them.

While thinking about your soulmates who you were going to see in just a couple of minutes, a goofy smile latched onto your face. None of your members commented on it, as they had a feeling they knew why you were so giddy.

You weren’t particularly ashamed of your excitement, that is until you came across a face you met not too long ago.

You guys find your rooms and sit your stuff down, then, you five meet back up at the elevator to go down to Skz’s floor.

You were hoping to see Eunji as you walked the halls and greeted staff and other idols, and luckily you did see her.

She was at Chan’s door, talking his ear off as he stood and listened to her with a bored expression. Felix stood near him, and you assumed the rest of the members were further inside the room.

“Oh, hi girls” Felix waves frantically as you and your members speed up to the hotel room. Eunji looks away from Chan and rolls her eyes.

“Hi guys” you grin, “Are we early?”

Chan shakes his head, “Nope, right on time. We’re about to leave for the restaurant”

A beat of tense silence passes before Hyunjin’s loud laughter can be heard from inside the room.

You instinctively chuckle as well, “I wonder what Hyunnie’s laughing at”

“Probably something Changbin said,” Says Felix

“Can we go eat now guys? I was serious about being really fucking hungry”

Chan nods and goes to retrieve the other members while Felix pulls you into a tight hug

“I haven’t seen you in forever,” He says. You knew it was really risky for you both to be interacting like that with staff around, but you missed him.

You missed all the boys, and it felt good to know they missed you too.

“Felix we hadn’t seen each other in a while either,” Eunji said, “Can I have a hug too?”

Luckily Felix doesn’t have to answer because a hyperactive Han runs out of the room and practically jumps on you

“Y/NNIE” He yells, giving you a tight squeeze before getting off and greeting your members

Hyunjin walks out just as hyper, bowing at Eunji and bear-hugging you.

You repeat that cycle four more times, each member's hug getting tighter than the last.

Eunji was red-faced by the time Chan came back out and properly greeted you.

“Ready guys?” You ask. Everyone nods and bids Eunji farewell as you all walk to the elevator

“I really don’t like that girl” Hana whispers to you once you guys are far enough away, “What the fuck is her problem?”

“Like I said earlier, she wants to bump privates with Chan, and she wants to be besties with the rest of the guys. Too bad that’s not fucking happening”

“You’re cute when you’re jealous,” Seungmin says from behind you, scaring the shit out of you.

“You being nosey?”

“You being territorial?”

You roll your eyes, “Hush”

Final Timeline Headcanons pt 2

Here's a continuation of my headcanons for the final timeline 💕

The Haitani brothers and the Kawata twins have a love-hate friendship. Nahoya bickers with them while Souya is more relaxed. They spend time with each other outside of Toman meetings at restaurants. The Haitanis invite them to parties sometimes.

Yumi and Pah have a very wholesome and soft relationship. They didn't put a label on their relationship in the beginning, people already assumed they were a couple. It was like that until Pah was asked about it by his close friends. He formally asked Yumi to be his girlfriend after that.

Yasuda is the one that asks out Peh-Yan. Mitsuya knew they liked each other all along and both of them confided in him before they started a relationship. Yasuda becomes protective of Peh in a 'tsudnere' way. Peh-yan doesn't admit it all the time, but he likes doing cliche relationship things with her.

If Takemichi and Hina were to ever have kids, they would all look exactly like Takemichi. Hina often teases him that he cries more than their kids when they were babies, which is true.

The Sano house became a popular spot for sleepovers when everyone was really young. Shinichiro made sure to have enough sleeping bags for Mikey, Takemichi, Sanzu, Baji, Izana and Kakucho. Senju and Emma would have their own sleepover and often had to kick Mikey out when he came to steal their snacks.

Since Ryusei is canon to the story, I think he would come by Peke J land a lot in the future. Mostly to annoy Chifuyu on purpose.

When Draken and Emma have their kid, all the ex-toman members become very protective of them. Mitsuya personally makes clothes for their child that aren't in his brand. The baby refers to Mitsuya as an uncle sometimes. Hina also becomes very close with their baby too. She volunteers to take care of them when Draken and Emma go on dates. Their baby refers to her as an aunt sometimes too.

I think Emma may have confessed to Draken first. She was getting anxious about how he felt about her, so Takemichi and Hina convinced her it would all work out just fine.

When Draken and Emma started dating, her brothers all reacted differently. Mikey was finally relieved the secret was out, Shinichiro was very happy Emma was with someone he knew would be good for her, and Izana became a bit protective of her and kind of threatened Draken if he were to hurt her, which he obviously never would.

Thousand Winters still forms after Toman disbands. Their reactions are all pretty much the same. They've got a photo album with pictures they all took in the t-shirts. However, it took a lot of convincing for Inui to be in the pictures.

Sanzu and Senju often wear clothing that closely matches with one another. They have their own sense of style, but sometimes it blends together and they wear similar things.

Luna and Mana are still very close with Taiju. He picks them up from school a lot and takes them to amusement parks and stuff. However, he doesn't like to admit he enjoys it even though everyone else knows he does. Yuzuha and Hakkai have dozens of photos where he's dressed in costumes or wearing cosmetics when Luna and Mana ask him too. When they're older, they sometimes still call him 'Tai' (the nickname they used in the birthday illustration).

Taiju is good at cooking, but he sucks at baking like the epilogue mentioned. He does thinks like burn chocolate, doesn't use enough flower or even squeezes piping bags too hard, causing them to explode.

Yuzuha is an older sister figure to Luna and Mana. She takes them shopping for clothes, teaches them how to put on makeup when they're older and watches over them while they grow up.

Yumi smiled sheepishly, leaning back in his chair. “Man, y’all are nosy. But okay, I’ll give you the details because, honestly, I’m kinda proud of how I pulled it off.” He paused, glancing offscreen for a second. “So, Y/N had been hinting at wanting a proposal—not in a pushy way, but, like, subtle shit. You know, ‘Oh, this song would be perfect for a wedding,’ or ‘I love this kind of ring.’ Classic stuff.” The chat laughed along with him as he continued. “So, I decided to make it perfect. I planned everything for weeks. Took notes, made calls—man, it was like a full-time job. I wanted it to be somewhere meaningful, so I picked the spot where we had our first real date. There’s this little park with a lake, and at sunset, it’s just… unreal.” Yumi’s voice softened as he got into it, clearly reliving the moment. “I told Y/N we were going out for dinner, but I took a detour to the park. She was like, ‘What are we doing here?’ and I was trying so hard to play it cool. But then we got to the lake, and there was this little table set up with flowers and candles.” He paused for dramatic effect, grinning as the chat spammed heart emojis.

“She was totally caught off guard. I could see it in her face, but when I got down on one knee…” He rubbed the back of his neck, looking a little bashful. “And let me tell you, I don’t even remember what I said. It was some sappy shit about how she’s my best friend, my everything, all that. And then I asked her to marry me.” The chat erupted, and Yumi chuckled, reading some of the comments aloud. He laughed softly, his cheeks tinged with a light blush. “She cried. I cried. It was a mess. But she said yes, obviously.” He held up his hand again, showing off the ring. “And now we’re here. Planning a wedding and trying not to freak out about everything.”

Heinkel and Yumie:

They're 50:50 on this. On the one hand it goes against their religion and they don't wanna disappoint Anderson, on the other hand this sounds like so much fun??

In the end they'll tag along, claiming that they are only here for your protection. You'll go trick-or-treating with the orphans without the nuns knowledge, and later on sneak out to visit a party. Not the first time they do something forbidden, you later learn.

Those two will get wrecked and you'll see a whole new side of them. They're dancing, making silly jokes, cling to you and proclaim how much you mean to them. Either they really got a mental blackout or they'll just act like they don't remember the next day.

Will absolutely get in trouble and argue a lot with other guests unprovoked. The guy complimenting Yumie's 'sexy nun costume' regrets it to this day.

Maxwell:

Oh, he'll be the biggest nag. Hates holidays, hates children, hates anything and anyone. This is beneath him, this is immature and stupid, the list is endless. He'd definetly do whatever you ask of him but he will be a bitch about too.

Acts annoyed the whole time but is actually having so much fun, his inner child is thriving. He was secretly afraid to involuntarily ruin the mood, but you tolerate his attitude so well that he actually gets over himself and comes out of his shell a lil' bit.

Finds himself enjoying to coddle the children, much to his surprise. Compliments their costumes, at least in his wry indirect way. Doesn't have any sweets so he'll give them money lol, they ain't complaining.

Won't talk about it again but you will find a list on his desk with ideas for the next year, and gosh that man will prepare an amazing experience for the children. Obviously only for your sake, not because he wants it...right?

Luke and Jan Valentine:

They really don't need a special occasion to do scary stuff and don't understand the hype around it, but if you insist.

Luke is a total showoff, dresses up and claims it's a costume bc he wears his hair different. Jan comes covered in blood but unsettlingly doesn't specify whether it's fake or not. You on the other hand could wear a potato sack and they'll act like you got the funniest, most beautiful costume ever - and anyone that disaggrees or doesn't acknowledge it properly is in for a horrid experience.

Whatever you have planned to do, you'll probably end up in a completely wrecked place with two idiots that try to one-up each other.

Rip Van Winkle:

A real big fan, but you're the only one she confesses this to. Feels relieved she doesn't have to hide it anymore and to have someone to commit the festive with.

Possesses a lot of related knowledge: All the scary stories and history behind the holiday, can recommend you the best movies, will be informed about every cool event worth going to.

Wears a hyper specific costume. Like gurl what do you mean you're the lighting post from Hereditary?!

Her bullets make for a pretty cool lighting show in the dark, but she'll most likely use her musket to make every pumpkin she sees explode.

Zorin Blitz:

Fuck that boring ass holiday, do you wanna see real horror? That was a hypothetic question, you got no choice.

Digs deep into the occult. Wanna speak with ghosts? Summoun a demon? Make a blood pact or sth? Human sacrifices? You'll witness some shit if you don't dampen her enthusiasm.

After persuading her into some more tame things she'll still find a way to make it more 'interesting'. You'll play truth or dare and she forces people to relive their most traumatic memories, calls it 'bonding time'.

"This song was actually inspired by someone that Suga met one day at a convenience store,” Namjoon said.

The boys were doing some promotion of their new album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1 at a radio station, when one of the hosts asked what made them come up with lyrics in ‘Converse High’.

“Yeah, I went to a convenience store near our dorm late at night because I was hungry and wanted something to eat, so I bought some ramen. There was this girl wearing red high tops, heating up her food, but the other microwaves were out of order so I had to wait until she was done so I could heat up mine. She must’ve known that I was behind her waiting because she asked if I wanted her to heat mine up too since she was already there,” he laughed at the memory.

He continued, “She was really cool and even gave me her secret ramen recipe that tasted really good.”

“So, thank you Suga’s mystery girl, for inspiring him and the hyungs to write this song,” Jimin said, looking into the camera.

“Did you ever get her name, hyung,” Namjoon asked, turning over to Yoongi. 

Yoongi thought for a moment, then chuckled. “You know, I don’t think I ever thought to ask.”

Why did this have to happen today?

I internally kicked myself for not realizing what we were supposed to be doing today. I continued to run through the park, dodging random passersby and the occasional low hanging tree branch before I made it to where the rest of the crew was set up.

The boys were filming a RUN BTS episode today that we were supposed to come early to help set up, but thanks to my faulty alarm and the fact that I didn’t have it on my schedule because we were constantly reminded of it, I totally forgot.

I eventually set my stuff down and quietly walked over to Yumi and started to take out my camera.

“What happened? Why are you so late,” she whispered, not wanting to have the camera pick it up even though we weren’t the ones who were wearing mic packs.

“Everyone thought you were dealing with a hangover for how late you are!”

“I know,” I whispered back, making sure my camera was in working condition. “But one, everyone should know that I rarely drink and two, I didn’t think that I needed to put it on my schedule because we were constantly getting reminded of it, but I guess I was wrong.” 

I snapped a couple of test pictures of the boys to make sure that everything was working fine before looking over a Yumi.

“Why didn’t you set an alarm, I literally texted you about this last night so you didn’t forget,” she deadpanned.

“I did set an alarm, but it didn’t go off so I guess I got to sleep in,” I quietly chuckled, scratching the back of my neck. 

Yumi smiled and shook her head, “You, my dear, are going to get in so much trouble.”

I groaned, “Please don’t remind me. I’m still trying to get over the lecture the director gave me last time I was late to a RUN shoot.”

I really need to start putting things in my schedule. Not only did I receive a massive lecture from the director telling me how irresponsible I was, I didn’t get to eat any of the snacks that were laid out for staff as punishment for not helping. 

It didn’t help that I didn’t get anything to eat on the way out of my house because I was too focused on making it here at a reasonable time, so I was basically running on nothing and the snacks were looking REALLY good right now, but as my stomach growled I sighed and walked away, not wanting to torture myself anymore.

“Alright everyone, let’s get back to filming,” the director said, looking around to make sure everyone was ready.

Since we were filming this RUN BTS episode at a carnival, everyone got their own camera person and because of that, the rest of the crew- including Yumi and I- got to roam around and take pictures.

“So, we get to do whatever,” Hobi excitedly asked.

The director nodded and the boys started cheering. Their little celebration was cut a little short when the director spoke up.

“But, this is still a competition and there is a spy. You guys are going to have to figure out who the spy is by the end of the day in order to win, if you don’t, then the spy will win.” 

The guys simultaneously groaned and then started eyeing each other. The director continued to explain some of the rules, stating that everyone will be playing the games as normal.

“With that being said, you are free to do whatever you please.”

The guys made a run for any games they can get to the fastest. A couple of them went to the same game and started yelling at each other to go to a different game. The staff chuckled at their competitiveness, then started to part ways to record each of the boys.

Recording lasted about 3 hours and it was safe to say… I’m about ready to pass out.

Half way through the shoot, I had bought some mini donuts, but it was not filling and it made me feel a bit sluggish. Shooting had concluded and revealed Jungkook as the spy, much to everyone’s surprise and then the crew wrapped up. 

We were told that the carnival would be open for staff and the members if they wanted to go around and spend time together. Naturally, when we were told that, I immediately thought about leaving to find the nearest convenience store for some kind of food, but Yumi had to pull me from my thoughts. 

“Y/n! We should go play something! How about darts,” she asked as she started tugging me over to the stall.

I groaned.

“No, I’m really hungry and nothing here is filling. I’ve got to get something in me before I, either, die of starvation or simply pass out from low blood sugar,” I said as I tried to get out of her grasp.

She sighed, letting go of my hand and placing them out her hips. “Come on Y/n, just play one game with me and then I’ll let you go. You never know when you’re gonna get to go to the carnival again.”

I mirrored her actions and put my hand on my hips. “First of all, this carnival is going to be open tomorrow too, so we can go then,” I said, and she nodded in acknowledgement, “and second, you can get someone else to play with you. I promise I’ll play all the games you want tomorrow, okay?”

She paused for a moment before letting her hands fall to her sides and sighed.

“Okay… BUT! You’re gonna pay for my food AND we get on some of the rides too. Deal?”

She held out her pinky toward me. I playfully rolled my eyes and linked my pinky with her’s securing the promise.

“Deal! Now, I’m gonna go before I land face first into this dirt,” I said, walking away while waving to her.

She waved back and went over to some of the other staff standing by a booth. I walked over to where the camera crew was now disassembling their equipment and once I got to my bag, I started carefully taking apart my camera.

“You have got to be kidding me,” I muttered under my breath as I looked over to the microwaves and saw that all but one were ‘out of order’ and the guy using it looked like he was going to be there for a while.

Just my luck, huh? 

I shook my head and sighed, but went to pick out my food while I waited for the microwave to be available. Walking through the aisles, looking for my ramen, and happily grabbing it when I found it, then walking over to the rows of coolers to get a drink.

I walked over to the counter and paid for my food, then headed back to the microwaves. Luckily the guy from before was done heating up all his food and now it was my turn. 

I peeled the top of the ramen container back and walked over to put some water in it from the drinking fountain next to the microwaves. Once I was done putting in the water, I moved back to the microwaves and started to heat up my ramen.

While I was waiting there, I heard the quiet shuffling of feet behind me followed by a sigh. I looked into one of the microwaves and saw Yoongi standing behind me.

I quietly chuckled and said, “Would you like me to heat yours up too?”

I heard a confused “huh?” and turned around to greet Yoongi, bowing slightly.

He returned the bow with the confused look still written all over his face. “How did you know that I was behind you?”

A smirk grew onto my face, “A great magician never reveals their secrets.”

The confusion grew deeper as his eyebrows furrowed ever more. 

At this point I couldn’t hold back my laughter. “I’m kidding, I heard feet shuffling behind me and I could see your reflection in the microwaves,” I said slightly turning toward the microwaves to point at them.

He slowly nodded at my explanation. The microwave beeped, letting me know that my food was ready. I pulled out my food, setting it off to the side before I turned back to Yoongi.

“Going back to what I said earlier, would you like me to heat that up for you too?”

“Oh! Yes please.”

I took the cup of ramen from him and put it into the microwave, putting in the recommended amount of time and then pressing start.

“So… what brings you here? I would’ve thought that you would be with the others right now at the carnival,” I said, leaning against the counter and stirring my ramen with some chopsticks that were nearby. 

He shrugged, “Well, Taehyung was trying to drag me to one of the rides, but I played the “I don’t feel good” card and no more questions were asked.”

Humming in response, I took a bite of my ramen. As I stirred my ramen ready to take another bite, the microwave beeped signaling that the food was ready. 

Yoongi moved to open the microwave as I grabbed some chopsticks to hand to him, earning a quiet “thank you” before he started mixing his food. Still leaning against the counter, I watched as he walked over to the condiments bar and started to dig around in the cooler.

He proceeded to take out a slice of cheese and put it on his ramen, closing the lid.

Huh. That’s interesting…

“Would you like to sit with me? It’d be nice to have some company,” I asked as I walked to a table near a window overlooking the street.

“Sure,” he said as he walked over to the table, taking the seat across from me.

I continued to eat my ramen as he stirred his and I couldn’t stop the question rolling off my tongue, “Did you come up with that?”

He looked up from his food and I pointed to noodles that had strings of cheese hanging on them. “Hmm? Oh, you mean adding cheese to ramen?”

I nodded.

He looked down at his food, “Nope, someone taught it to me a few years back. I thought it tasted really good so I’ve been eating it like this ever since.” I nodded and went back to eating. 

We quietly ate for a while which allowed me to finish my meal, setting it aside and reaching to pull out my phone from my back pocket until Yoongi spoke up.

“What about you? Do you put anything special in your ramen,” he asked before slurping down the rest of the noodles.

I hummed, “Coincidentally, I put cheese in my ramen too, but it’s something I’ve been doing since I was a kid. I used to call it my ‘secret recipe’.”

“Wait…”

I was a little confused at his reaction and even more so when his face lit up like a light bulb just went off in his head.

“Do you remember if you taught someone this secret recipe of yours a few years back,” he asked slowly.

Tilting my head and humming I tried to think back. “Um, I’d like to say I did, but I tend to forget things pretty easily so it’s a little hard to say. Why?”

“Because I don’t think this ‘coincident’ is a coincidence at all. I’ve been having a weird sense of deja vu since you asked me that question at the microwaves,” he looked at me while I was still confused.

I shook my head lightly, trying to wrap my head around this. “Wait, so we’ve met before?”

He nodded as a small smile started to form on his lips.

“Then how come I don’t remember you? I feel like I would’ve,” I said, brows furrowing. 

“Well, we had that run in back in 2015, so it makes sense that we wouldn’t recognize each other after 3 years. Plus, we weren’t that big in 2015 which also makes sense why you didn’t recognize me back then.”

Nodding, I hummed, taking all of this in. No wonder I thought it was interesting when I saw him add cheese to his ramen. 

Now that I thought about it a little more it should’ve tipped me off that we might've met before when I noticed him adding cheese to his ramen since I really only teach that to a select few.

“I have to say… it’s pretty cool that you still remember that day,” I said with a smile starting to form on my face.

“How could I not! Because of that little interaction, we were inspired to make a song,” he said nonchalantly, leaning back and crossing his arms. 

If I had something in my mouth at this exact time, I surely would've spit it out right now after the sudden epiphany I had hearing that statement.

“WAIT A SECOND! I’m ‘the girl from the convenience store’ that inspired you to write Converse High?!” I was quite literally at the edge of my seat as I leaned further over the table.

He was a little surprised at my reaction, but then looked to the side with a hint of a smile. “Well yeah, you kind of left a lasting impression with your ‘secret recipe’ and those red converse you wore.”

I chuckled at the thought of my converse leaving a lasting impression on someone so much so that they would write a song.

It was his time to lean forward, putting his elbows on the table and squinting his eyes just a bit, “How did you know that you were the girl that inspired Converse High?”

He dramatically gasped, putting a hand on his chest, “Were you secretly a fan back then and were just faking it to get close to me?” 

I snorted and waved him off, “Please, I barely knew who BTS was back then so don’t flatter yourself too much, Min Yoongi.”

A slight frown appeared on his face, leaning back with his cross once again, "And the reason I know about the inspiration behind Converse High is because when I was doing research on what group Big Hit managed when I applied as a photographer, so I happened to come across a certain video of BTS at a radio station talking about the song.”

“I just didn’t think that your ‘mystery girl’ would have been me,” I said with a shrug, leaning back and crossing my arms, almost mirroring Yoongi, but he seemed a bit taken aback from the mention of “his mystery girl”.

He lightly scratched the back of his neck. “Yeah, I might’ve talked about you a little too much in the dorms and that caused Jimin to think that I had a crush on you,” he rolled his eyes at how ridiculous Jimin’s thought was.

“In reality, I thought you were really cool and I was a little sad that I didn’t get your name because I wanted to get to know more about you. I remember the rest of the members scolding me for not asking your name” 

I giggled, the smile staying on my lips, “I thought you were pretty cool too, you know. Back then, I mean. I would’ve loved to get to know you more too.”

“Maybe it’s not too late. If you want, we could get to know each other over some coffee tomorrow?”

It was my turn to be dramatic, gasping and placing a hand on my chest. “Is THE Min Yoongi asking me out to coffee?!”

He chuckled at my overdramatic question, but nodded.

“I would love to! Oh, we would have to get coffee sometime during the day, though, because I promised Yumi that I would go to the carnival with her tomorrow night. But it’s nothing official, so you can join if you want. We could just hang out,” I said.

He put his hand to his chin, as if in thought, “Sure I don’t see why not.”

I scoffed, shaking my head as a smile grew on my face.

“Great, then it’s a date!”

He started to mirror my smile, “Great, I can’t wait, uh…”

My smile instantly fell. “Don’t tell me that you don’t know my name? I’ve been working with you for years!”

He laughed, “Of course I do, but just humor me this once. I’m trying to right a past wrong, ok?”

I lightly shook my head. 

“Fine.” I sighed, sticking out my hand toward him with a warm smile, “Y/n. Nice to meet you!”

He reached over and took my hand in his, “Nice to meet you too, I’m Yoongi.”

Telling People, You're a couple. | The Group Chat Head canons | Pt.1

I'm sorry this is late; I've been having too much fun fanaticizing instead of writing. I didn't include tanner since i included this in the last head canon.

Isaac- It has been two weeks since you and Isaac have been together, you haven't really told anyone besides the boys in the house, but you wanted to take things, so you haven't told your fans.

One night you and some of the others decided to drink and stream an American truck simulator. You all were having a good time until Isaac became more tipsy than usual.

"Hold on, hold on, I need another sake. I'll be right quick, and tanner if you crash into me while I'm gone . I'll hide under your bed tonight.'' Isaac went to grab his drink and on his way back he passed your room where your door was cracked open.

You were laughing at yumi yelling at nick when you heard Isaacs knock at the bedroom door. "open the door or i'm gonna throw rocks in your window, you dumb whore" you laughed even harder . you made sure your camera was at a good level before telling him to come in so he didn't face reveal himself .

Isaac came and stood right next to your chair fiddling with his drink acting like he was gonna spill it on your keyboard. "Nah I won't do it, chat . I love them too much ""really because I don't love you" you said as a joke which he got surprisingly. "oh yeah?" Isaac then wrapped his arm around your throat acting as if he was going to choke you "chat ill do it, don't make me, i may love them but i'll do it." you couldn't help but laugh from his arm tickling your neck.

"Fine chat fine you brought this upon yourselves" Isaac let out a yell before reaching around your face and giving you a small kiss. Isaac than ran out of the room laughing like an evil villain. your chat went crazy with aww and asking if you're okay with what he did. "It's okay to chat, he's been doing it since we've started dating". you left your chat with that sentence and refused to retouch on the subject to make things funnier.

Yumi- you have been staying at the group chats house for a month almost two, isaac and the rest were convincing you to just move into the house with them since you were  sorta a part of the group  and now that you're with yumi it makes sense to just move in. you decided that you would just fly home and to drive back to austin since you had stuff that you couldn't bring on a plane but not enough stuff to rent out a uhaul. You were only gone for a week so you could close out your lease with your landlord and pack things.

Even though you and yumi haven't dated for the longest and you were only gone for a week he still misses you, you were a part of his routine and now he doesn't know what to do with his days. He stuck with streaming to take up his time but he eventually would lose track of time and not notice that a week has already passed. 

You were so happy to see Blake again. You had to pull over twice while on the way out due to your foot bouncing on the pedal from excitement and not wanting to crash. As soon as you got into the driveway you jumped out of the car and ran into the house “Hi y/n '' tanner turned around in the bean bag chair. You just ran up the stairs not even paying attention to what he was doing “Hi tanner” you said almost already at yumies door. 

You had pressed your ear against the door to hear what yumi was doing. It sounded like he was watching car crashes on stream so you made sure to be quiet when you opened the door so you could scare him. You open the door lightly and as soon as your head comes into frame on the camera you put a finger to your lips to signal to his chat not to say anything. You got close enough to him without him noticing you until you wrapped your arms around his top half  “MISSED ME?!” you said out loud as he finally stopped screaming. “Fuck i though i was dead but yeah im happy your back” you said with a boom in his voice as he hugged you back, he was hugging you thight so you knew he was telling you the truth. 

“Here chat this is my i don't even know” Blake said has he used you towards the camera “partner?” you looked back at him to see if he approved “yeah sounds right”. For the rest of the stream, you and Yumi answered questions that his fans had about you and him and watched whatever YouTube had recommended.

HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT THIS?!?!?

Okay, so I'm not even sure what to say here because there's a lot about him, so be prepared for...I don't even know, an info dump I suppose.

Michael is just a guy, just a little guy. He was like four (?) when his house was destroyed and his parents died, Sara, who was the one that did all that, decided to raise him, for complicated reasons I'm not gonna go into. So Michael was raised by some evil lady, she trained him and now he's good at fighting so that's a bonus. Now Sara didn't want to involve him in her crime life at first so she actually raised him somewhat decently (forget about the manipulation and stuff) so that did kinda end up backfiring on her when Michael did not wanna turn evil. So when Michael was like 14, 15 ish she stared to get him more involved in her evil stuff. So Michael is kind of disturbed with all this, his mother figure committing murders and stuff but he doesn't do anything for a while. So when the main characters (Neylla, Alstin, Danny ect.) show up and Sara wants Neylla's time magic, Michael is helping her with that. For a while Michael is a side villain but slowly he's kind of realizing how bad this is. So then I'm not actually sure what exactly happens, this part has gone through MANY stages so I don't know what's going on, but something happens and he starts to see that Sara has been using him. And he decides to stop working for her, so Sara tried to kill him to get his powerful magic, he runs off and hides in his old broken house. Now he's homeless and he doesn't really know what he's going to do now. Eventually he comes to the conclusion to become a sort of vigilante. There is a nearby town that is kind of the slums. Most people living there don't have any magic and they dislike magic users. The police never go down there so the crime rate if high. So Michael puts on a disguise and uses his magic (light magic, he can form light into any shape, sword, shield, ball of light ect.) to fight crime. So that happens for a while until he meets up with Yumi, Alstin's sister! She's also being a vigilante in that area so they work together for a while. Michael is still homeless and has no money so eventually he ends up getting a part time job at a candy store, that happens to be the candy store Alstin works at so that's fun. So eventually Michael joins up with the main group. He still has a lot to work through so he has a tough time but now he has friends!

I need to stop, this got very long.

At first, when you two started dating, you didn't tell him you had autism. You thought it'd make Blake think you were weird.

Until you had your first meltdown in front of him.

"No, no no! No!" You whined, hitting your fist against your knee. Nothing was going your way today, and now all the textures rubbing against your skin were overwhelming you and it felt like everything, everywhere was just too much.

Blake opened the door, "Baby? You okay in here?" He poked his head around the door to see you in a.. not so great state.

He noticed you were hitting your knee, "Hey, hey..!" He walked up to you rather quickly and held your hand so that you stopped, which made you whine, but you didn't have the strength to fight him anymore.

"Mmm.." You sighed, your eyes heavy with tears. "Wanna change n go to bed," Blake stopped you, "But it's 4:30.."

He didn't argue with you past that, he just obliged, got you a change of clothes and lied in bed with you for a bit.

"... Do you wanna explain what was going on earlier? I won't judge you." He spoke softly, rubbing your back as he lied behind you. "... I have autism," You spoke very quietly, you didn't want to piss him off.

"Why didn't you tell me that before?" He asked you, still stroking your back. "Was scared you'd think I was weird or something.."

"What the fuck? Absolutely not. Baby, I'm in love with you, just because you have autism doesn't mean that'll change. We can work through everything together, okay? Whatever the odds are. I love you."

"Mkay.. I love you too."

TANNER ;

You did tell Tanner you're autistic whenever you two first became friends, and he's been nothing but supportive!

He LOVES sitting around and listening to you talk about your interests, it's one of his favorite pastimes.

"Ooh! Ooh! Can you talk to me about that again? I thought it was really cool!" He gets you excited about things you talk about, because he knows not everyone was super nice to you about that in the past.

When you two started dating, you were so scared he'd be scared off by you having autism.

You had no reason to be scared, he loves you regardless.

He does like to poke jokes at you if you're okay with them, stuff like "So do you love trains or what?" But only if you're okay with that! He'd never do anything to make you uncomfortable.

God forbid he learns your special interest, all he buys you are things related to it.

He buys you the fidget toys you like! If you like pop-it's, he'll get you the nicest ones he can find on amazon. If you like fidget cubes, he has one he lets you play with every now and then!

He has a bunch of fidget spinners around his office that he occasionally finds you using

Regardless of how you are, he loves you so much, inside and out!
