Finally got to finish adult James Orion on the Buck-stayed!Au, where James and Alan are full-blooded-brothers cause of their father staying.

I actually finished this since July- but I didn't end up liking adult James' design cause he still looks a lot like Alan. So, I drew those doodles to make myself attach to it.

Most of the major things in the actual story still happened, but with just some different actions and outcomes.

Random facts:

Talked to his mother a lot after the first incident happened, often relaying what Alan wants to say to her. Ophelia stayed with them until James was 15.

Doesn't remember much of Ophelia when he was young, so Buck told him every memory he had with her. Cherished his mother's memory by dyeing his hair the same color as her.

Wants to find Alan, he's still not near to his location though. He does visit forests a lot and even set up camp to stay overnight, just in case.

Generally a somewhat friendly yet strange individual- he doesn't have a filter, he's genuine on his actions and words, will help you bury a body if you give him something in return (like food or money). His personality is more akin to.. a bit of Wayne, and a bit of Dipper- I have an idea on his personality,I just don't know how to explain it.

He's been looking for Alan since he was 20. The 2nd incident caused by Alan left him ostracised. He stopped showing to class one day, and spent his time with his dad or alone in the forest.

Has bad memory, remembers people by experience/vibe, and often gets names mixed up, so he just settles on with nicknames.

Can feel pain, but he has a somewhat high tolerance on it- he does have a weird sense of taste.

Buck helped him get his own van when he told him that he wanted to find his older brother. He understood that his father's own van was special.

Talks to himself a lot. Will stare and mumble at a random object in the ground or in front of him for minutes if he feels like he forgot something important. The longest he stared was two minutes, and that's when he was supposed to go to Jules' house for Thanksgiving.

Will get a temporary job and stay in one place if he needs the money. Sometimes, he pickpockets and steals.

Will come back to a place if he likes it, or if he made a friend there.

Has a separate notepad for his doodles. Most of it are things he sees while driving. He lost seven of them.

Delusional and clingy when attached.

i only currently have the main three for this au (and boss shh) i might think of some designs for the side characters i not sure yet

this Au has been brewing in my mind for MONTHS and i finally had the motivation to draw them

For Alan i had some ideas and Character designs that i scrapped but.

Alan (in this AU) is a Captain for a ship secretly run by Boss, Instead of a road sign boss is Alan's hat so he can still watch over everything. i was going to make boss into the ships flag but i thought that wouldn't really work out, with Alan's scars on his face, since realistically there are no raccoons on pirate ships (sadly T_T) so i decided that Alan saw doe eyes and stu hanging out on a rock just talking, and since he obviously gets jealous i thought those scars would be from a fight he had with stu when he try's to Kill him , but with the scar on his side Instead of a bear it was a shark. stu has a scar on his shoulder from Alan's sword (Alan sadly cant have a hatchet U_U) with the other scars like around his elbow and his back are from other merfolk he killed and or swords for other pirates. alan will attempt to Catch his doe eyes to bring on to the ship, obviously sometimes he will have to take boss off so he cant watch him. still in the AU i clearly wanted to keep most of the lore so Alan still kills people for boss but mostly ships and sea creatures like mermaids, stitches and carver will be in this au i might not post their designs yet because i still need to work on that... <3

with Stu i explained a good bit in Alan's info, but yeah in this AU he's a merman, i was gonna make him human but i wanted to keep the lore that mc and him grew up together and mc is a merfolk so i thought i might as well make him one to, and with his scar i said this in Alan's info that they had a little tussle so he got away, mc and Stu should still hang out since i wanted to keep it simple.

So i don't know much about Erika buttt.

she's on the same ship as alan but generally dislikes it, obviously my girl is still fashionable, she still has died hair but i made it a bt more dull since this is like the 50s U_U she still has her two dads (they gave her the necklace) she went on the ship for the money and easy access to meet up with stu, stu and Erika are still mutual friends because i still wanna keep mc stu and Erika as friends, that's all i have for now.

5 facts about peter! :

1. all his piercings are fake, he used super glued them on.

2. peter got the nickname cockbite from roumers that go around the school about peter prostituting himself out to older men (for money ofc).

3. peter claims to hate his sister but takes care of Sarah more then their parents do.

4. peter doesn't call himself an artist but he finds sketching and drawing very therapeutic (but he NEVER shares his artwork).

5. peter often goes dumpster diving in order to find broken technology and parts that he can use to fix them up and sell.

5 facts about Alan!:

1. Alan has a really hard time actually talking to people without getting nervous (he is VERY emotional).

2. Alan is a major klutz and often wipe-outs when he's skating, even though he's a good skater.

3. Alans house that he lives in with his family is right on the edge of a forest. he as a secret weed bush he had planted somewhat in the forest, most he sells to fix up his board and some he smokes for himself when he wants to lay back.

4. Alan has a major soft spot for cute things such as animals or merchandise. he often wants to buy cute little nick-nacks for his room but decides against it since its not "manly" to do so..and he doesn't want to be a bullying victim.

5. all alans clothes are hand me downs or clothes that he had stole from the lost and found at the high-school (exept underwear). he had also taken some sewing classes so he can properly patch up and fix his clothes when they inevitably get wreked

though I will say that this is not cannon teen alan, I honestly don't remember what he looks like or if he even has a design for that but this is sorta my own take on it, not to diffrent from his adult self since I'm depicting him in his later teen years

ALSO if you are wondering the AU does take place in the early 2000s so everyone has their cute little flip phones and things use to be cheaper back then and all that jazz

I feel like his desgin is really cute, im giving myself a pat on the back for this one hehe.
