i mean this in the like... nicest way possible, but there is no way to post your writing and/or art on the internet without running the very high risk of it getting scraped, whether you post it on tumblr, pillowfort, or ao3. sites being 'anti ai' does not mean your art cannot be scraped. it is simply almost impossible to prevent, much less guarantee that. I'm not saying this to be a pessimist or to stop people from being rightfully pissed about this. it sucks. massively so! but if the idea does in fact bother you that much, you should know that moving sites won't fix the issue. ao3, as far as we know, has been scraped/is getting scraped. you can set your fics so that only logged in users can access them, but it only makes scraping one step more difficult, and by no means impossible and the otw has stated this clearly.

which, again, this sucks! i don't have a great solution either!! but tumblr is relatively honest, at least, when it tells you that it cannot prevent, only discourage it. ao3 said the same thing. any site promising you otherwise is, to the best of my knowledge, lying to you.

bro am I the only one who kind of hates the uncanny valley video trend on tiktok

The first one or two I saw I was like okay that’s cool ig

But now it always freaks me out and suddenly I’m like 5 and scared of my closest in more than the average human mild nighttime paranoia way

So I keep trying to put not interested but it’s still on my fyp

Like man I just opened the app to see some silly adventure time edits but instead I now have ptsd over that one audio on all the vids with the la la la la la

I think it’s cool that people are making it like they’re enjoying it but it stresses me out so I’m like algorithm do your thing please I’m afraid to walk up the stairs

And like I like some horror/creepy stuff but like it’s always chill or has like a lot of other aspects yk? Ig im just much more of a cartoons and fantasy movie person I just can’t handle it 💀💀💀😭😭😭

Like I can enjoy a good supernatural creepy small town mystery thing (cough cough hermits holllow type stuff) but those have other aspects

And like I can watch YouTubers play horror games but that’s different because they are silly goofs

And like stranger things I fucking love stranger things- but it’s way more about the friendships and 80s nostalgia so like- not particularly scary. I’m just not good with actual horror I guess
