I went to a small Japanese culture convention in a nearby city on October 1. Some friends were hosting a Lolita 101 panel and I wanted to visit them finally instead of them making the drive to visit us. Their panel was lovely, the con was small but very cute, and I bought a lot of mothman merchandise. I wore my absolute unit of a petticoat, which BtSSB Sheryl handles well.

Japanese Cultural Festival Meetup --------------------------------------------------------------

My comm had a meetup at a Japanese cultural festival a few weeks ago. I unfortunately don’t own any wa lolita yet, so a simple coord had to do. I also logged into Webkinz before leaving and was reminded that it was Rosata’s birthday, so she got to come with me. We snacked on onigiri and looked at kimono, then saw some traditional dance performances. Several members of Takarazuka Revue were also on stage that day. I looked a bit into the history of the group later and it was very interesting, but I won’t get into it now.

In July 2022 I hosted a swap meet for my local comm. Lots of folks brought stuff to sell, but so many of us were keen on selling so we didn't wind up buying much. I was hoping some of the newer members of the comm would come and buy stuff, since they've joined and never come to a meetup... But none came.
