It's all your fault. It's absolutely your fault and I came here precisely to tell you that. It's because of your Tangled spam, that now I suddenly want to watch the series 😜 I loved the movie, but somehow didn't know there is a series too??? So thanks, because it looks great and I need to check it out asap! 😍

OK OK.

I don’t consider myself a huge fan of animation. Like, it’s not my bread and butter ya know? Some people watch primarily cartoons, and fine, but that’s not really me. I enjoy a good princess flick or almost anything Pixar does, but, there’s only a handful of animated series I watch: miraculous ladybug, trollhunters, and Tangled The Series. 

And let me tell you, Tangled The Series might just be my favorite of the three. 

If you are not a cartoon enthusiast, here’s what you need to know:

It’s written for kids, and that’s okay. Go in accepting there will be some juvenile aspects, some ridiculous moments, and yes some filler episodes, and you will be prepared. But just because it’s appropriate for 6 year old kids to watch, that does not mean you can’t enjoy it at any age. 

Characters are often more than they appear and they have the ability to change or grow or learn, the worldlore is there just enough to make the world feel unique and fuel plots, arcs start to form around plots and characters, themes pop up everywhere, and the animation and acting and music are all top notch.

This series lives off the saying “Plus Est En Vous”. There is more in you.

Don’t worry, you’re not missing anything at this point - you are supposed to be confused the same way Tohru is right now, but when you’ll learn why they treat Akito the way they do (somewhere in the middle of S2 I guess?) it will make sense.

Alright cool I figured that. But what’s killing me is I COULD go like, read a wiki, or read the manga or something to find out sooner. But I wanna wait!! And watch it!! Just!!

It’s Roy and Riza from FullMetal Alchemist aka RoyAi. This ship is even part of my nickname so that only shows how much I love them XD FMA was one of my first anime and RoyAi was probably my first OTP and pairing that I shiped so hard and I still love them! So many good memories with these two! 

9. What ship represents the kind of relationship you’d love to have?

Now that’s a hard question XD But I would say... Natsu and Lucy from Fairy Tail? I mean, these two right now (but I’m waiting!) don’t have very romantic relationship but I love their friendship and their love that they have towards each other. I’m looking for somenone who would understand me like these two understand each other. 

Also I really liked the relationship between Bossun and Himeko from Sket Dance. They were cute together. 

17. Is there a type of ship you always go for?

Love-hate relationships XDD I mean just look at my OTPs XD Milady and Athos, Ferid and Crowley, Levi and Hanji and now Dazai and Chuuya XD All of them have these love-hate relationship but that makes more chemistry between them I think (it’s kinda sexy xDDD) I just love when my OTPs are arguing but not realy arguing XD

Relationship status: Oh god, I can’t believe how boring my answer is. I’m married!

Top 3 ships: There have been a few ships in my life and it’s not easy to name only three, but let’s see... Number One is definetely Barisi. Number Two is the mother ship Sam x Jack from Stargate SG1 and Number Three is a classic, Chandler and Monica.

Lipstick or Chapstick: I don’t use make up very often so I was pretty sure that I was gonna answer Chapstick, but I had to look up what a Chapstick is and I am not putting this on my mouth, lmao! So my answer is lipstick that I use maybe once or twice a year because I feel like it makes my lips look like an alarm light.

Last song: "Be the one” by Dua Lupa - On the way home from the gym, it’s a sweet, calm song and reminds me of my dear husband.

Last movie: “Tully” - It was on randomly on my cable, but I can relate to this so, so much!

Currently reading: Oh god, I’m a literature major, is it totally embarrassing if I say I read too much fanfiction? But I’m trying! As an actual physical book, I’m trying to read the The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemsin, a gift that my best friend has chosen especially for me and on my Kindle, I’m trying to read the Centro Trilogy by Katharina Groth (it’s German).

Things people may not know about you I played piano in elementary school I’ve learned latin for 3 years, I even wanted to study classical philology. Eventually I’ve changed my mind, but i still love ancient Rome and Greece I like both yuri and BL and I’ve always felt ashamed about it. I don’t think I’m fujoshi, I just like all kinds of romance. I’ve never told anyone I’m asexual. That’s very awkward since my parents and even people at my workplace often mention that I should meet someone and get married soon... 1. Bellarke. I can’t believe that they are still not cannon when they are so wonderful together. Bellamy and Clarke just compliment each other. While being strong individuals, they bring out the best of each other. I personally think that we will not see them together until the inevitable end of the show when everyone finds peace and so on and so forth. And then, they will make babies together.

(By the way, this ship got me deep into Tumblr.)

2. Huddy. Even if House is an ass, I just wanted him to be happy. And I am sad that the writers did not give him the chance. Because Cuddy was his only chance for sure. They had such a great chemistry, making each other vulnerable and ultimately a better person. They were so happy together but the writers just forced problems on them. RIP Huddy. I am still sorry, it did not work out.

(By the way, my Tumblr obsession started with this ship.)

3. Barisi. This ship is the death of me! These two compliment each other in a perfect way. He is the grumpy asshole who falls in love with the eager detective who loves him like hell. Carisi would make Barba soft and Barba would affirm Carisi’s self-confidence. Plus, they would be two bisexual characters represented on the show, an interracial couple, they could deal with the Catholic nonsense and so on and so forth. Now, Barba is gone in such a terrible way and Carisi will probably get married one day to someone who is not Rollins. I am so, so sad that this is not Canon. It hurts in my soul. And until today I wonder whether Barisi chemistry was planned by the writers as a potential story line that they never acted on or if Barisi was an accident.

4. Mindy x Danny. They are like the only ship on that list that are cannon. I lead such a sad life. They were so sweet. I remember their first break-up which was so beautiful. This ship was planned as a true romcom and that is what Mindy and Danny are. Beautiful, true and pure entertainment. I enjoyed them so much.

(By the way, my son is also called Leo.)

5. Spuhura. I mean come on. Spock in love? Potentially at least. How can you not ship this? The sweetest thing about it is how soft Spock is in this relationship and how confident Uhura is. Too bad we do not see enough of the two in the movies.

+1 for the hell of it.

Sam and Jack. To me, this is the mother of all ships. I was so young when I watched Stargate SG1. I recorded it on VHS... with German voice-over. I think Jack loved her so much and there is such a beauty in it how he did not act on it for her sake. Sad and beautiful. At the core. They never got together on screen, at least not in the actual timeline. Another hurtful spot in my soul.

(By the way, my grades would have been potentially worse if there had been Tumblr at that time.)

A great ships missing are of course Mulder x Scully, Chandler and Monica. There are also pairings in movies that I loved: Jason Segel and Paul Rudd or Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock.

I’m usually silent during my lectures because I’m scared I will say something that is incorrect and people will laugh XD  Tv series which are set in different period are my weakness, I love them because costumes <3 Victorian era is my fav. I’m studying languages but I wanted to be a pharmacist earlier but well, it wasn’t for me. I used to dance in elementary school and I was quite good at it but my partner changed place and I quit too. I kinda regret this XDD
