Base Groups:

Lawful Good: Characters within this group uphold a strong sense of justice and morality. They follow the law and strive to do good in a lawful and ethical manner.

Lawful Evil: These characters are disciplined and organized but prioritize their own interests and ambitions over others. They may use the system to achieve their goals, even if it involves morally questionable actions.

Lawful Neutral: This group represents those who value order and structure without a strong moral inclination. They often follow a strict code of conduct or adhere to a personal sense of duty.

Neutral Good: Characters in this group are driven by a desire to do good but may not always follow the law if it conflicts with their moral principles. They prioritize helping others above all else.

True Neutral: These individuals tend to act in their own self-interest without a strong moral or ethical inclination. They may adapt to various situations and make decisions based on circumstance.

Neutral Evil: Characters in this group prioritize their own interests and ambitions over others and are willing to engage in morally questionable actions to achieve their goals. They do not adhere to a strict code of conduct or a strong moral compass, making them unpredictable and self-serving.

Chaotic Good: Characters here value freedom and individuality while working for the greater good. They may break the rules when necessary to achieve their goals for the betterment of society.

Chaotic Evil: This group consists of individuals who prioritize their own desires and will go to great lengths to achieve them, often disregarding rules and causing chaos in the process.

Chaotic Neutral: These characters embrace chaos and unpredictability. They act on their own impulses and desires without a strong moral compass.

Faction Groups:

Lightwell Printing Company: A company that serves as a cover for a former government agency, now dedicated to protecting and serving the peace for gifted individuals.

Helix Academy: A boarding school created to help young gifted teens and children learn to control their abilities and live harmoniously in society.

Phantom Order: A group of villains united against the government's efforts to control the gifted, willing to take extreme measures to ensure the superpowered community's dominance.

Eclipse P.I.: A team of gifted individuals who solve cases involving other superpowered individuals, helping those the authorities cannot.

Westwood Sanatorium: A mental institution specializing in the care and rehabilitation of gifted individuals, including those considered "villains" or dangerous.

Ouroboros: A secret organization with a mysterious origin and a mission to achieve balance between gifted and ungifted individuals through any means necessary.

Hey Sunlings! We're back with a preview of our member groups. We have 70 groups that are entirely aesthetic-based, so you can choose whatever one best suits your character. Whether it be the name of the group, the colors, or the horror movie quote it's attached to, you do you!

Our standard member groups are free, while premium and luxe groups cost points. Luxe groups come with the added bonus of a discount on all shop items. And achievement groups can only be won by participating in site events. You can switch member groups as often as you like (and as long as you have the points) in the shop, too, so no staff interference is needed! So check below the cut for a preview of all of our member groups!

We like our member groups to encourage our members' creative and character development. We use aesthetic groups rather than faction or blood based ones, usually on a theme. Our current theme is METHODS OF DIVINATION.

With this preview we would like to introduce our second dev prompt. In the tags, we'd love to see a quick blurb, moodboard, etc. indicating what member group your character belongs in.

ANTHOMANCY: FROM THE FLOWERS

Roots that run deep. Through wind and snow, they bend but they endure. They may shrink or wilt as the going gets tough, but they strive for the light. Dynamic, and sometimes contradictory. Appreciators of beauty, who may be drawn to aesthetics or the arts.

ASTRAPOMANCY: FROM LIGHTNING AND ELECTRICITY

Pioneers, with all the bravery and loneliness that entails. Searching for meaning or for love, or perhaps simply searching. Impulse is the beginning and end. They burn bright and hot, and sometimes burn others on their way through. They are drawn to new ideas and rarely choose the beaten path.

EXTISPICY: FROM THE ENTRAILS OF THE SACRIFICED

Introspective and thoughtful, sometimes to great fault. Balanced and measured. Everything is a calculation. They are in tune with nature, whatever that means to them; waste not, want not. They don’t stray far from the line between life or death, be it sticking close to new life or expiring.

AUGURY: FROM THE FLIGHT OF BIRDS

Eyes fixed on the sky, with feet not so firmly on the ground. They can be self-absorbed or aloof, and can seem a world away. Communal despite it all, with strong familial ties and loyalties. Drawn to academia and to theory.

CHRESOMANCY: FROM THE RAMBLINGS OF LUNATICS

The silver linings in dark clouds. Closest and most solid when the good times are rolling, and careful to protect themselves when they are not. Boundary-setters and intuitive thinkers. Magnetic and mysterious; the world smiles with them. They are natural leaders, drawn to positions of power.

SCRYING: FROM CRYSTAL GAZING

The silent observer. Still waters run deep, and there are depths and depths to them. Good for looking beyond the obvious, for recognising patterns and for putting together the pieces. Drawn to mathematics and to investigative fields.

hello, everyone! ✨ today we’re back with another preview and this time you’re getting a peek at our member groups! in your intros, we asked what your favorite film genre was to hint at the fact that our member groups are based off of films! it’s a no-brainer that los angeles is the film capital of the world and we thought using films would be fun and also give us the flexibility to evolve and inherit new groups as we progress together on the site. our goal in the future is to have input from our members on which new groups they’d like to see! 

below the cut, you’ll find descriptions of our 7 standard groups that are free. the groups you choose for your characters are completely up to you. if the aesthetics we have listed don’t match your character’s persona, you can still choose a group based on the colors or even just because it’s a film you prefer. it really doesn’t matter so we don’t want anyone to feel limited in how they play their character because of the way a group is described. stay tuned because we’ll also be posting a preview tomorrow of some of our premium and exclusive groups that are more limited and must be purchased with tickets (points) or earned as incentives through challenges and events. 💗

CLUELESS — “UGH, YOU ARE A SNOB AND A HALF.”

sassy and classy. plaid patterns. easily influenced. reality tv contestant energy. always meeting new people. ditzy but has their wits about them. leaving red kisses and confusion everywhere you go. the clinking of champagne flutes. perfume clinging to silk sheets. never staying in one place for too long. looking within the mirror to find who you see.

FIGHT CLUB — “HOW MUCH CAN YOU KNOW ABOUT YOURSELF IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN IN A FIGHT?”

our member groups are simple: just pick which one you like best! our groups are inspired by various winter treats and will be the color palette of your skin, profile and posts. there are eleven standard groups total, no premiums.

OCULUS 2.0. surgically-attached ocular lenses that grant the wearer sight advantages such as night vision, infrared reading, and a boastful ten-times zoom; must be replaced every six months. 

FREQU3NCY. surgically implanted aids attached to the eardrum able to increase volume to pick up sounds from a 5-mile radius; selective hearing meant to help you focus in crowded spaces; noise cancelling to filter out ambient sounds; must be replaced once a year. 

DERM15. beneath the epidermis implanted in core areas of the body (major organs, arteries), to deflect any severe trauma (ie. stab wounds, bullets); must be replaced every six months or after single use. 

ST4SIS. biomechanical upgrades wound in the tendons of arms, legs, neck - with the use of electrical pulses to stimulate muscle tension and reflex, to get that perfect shot in any physical situation; must be serviced once a year. 

H0VER. sound-cancelling buffers implanted in the feet and ankles to smoothly transition one to the ultimate light-footed experience; no servicing necessary

MEMBER GROUPS

TINKER 

The majority steadfast in their bearing toward conservation of long-standing values and preservation of lives, pureblood and otherwise. Peace, in accordance to such context, or more accurately the end of war and turmoil, is what leads every ministry agent, public and private civilians, in this alignment, as they thwart and retaliate against both the philosophies and practices of Grindeldwald’s coalition.

TAILOR 

Defectors who’ve lost both appetite and purpose for bloodshed and deceit. Individuals who can afford to be unbothered and so remain unpretending of or otherwise unengaged from political and civil hostilities. Those whose livelihoods can excel in both peace and war, regardless of whoever’s at the helm.

SOLDIER 

The congregation for whom Grindelwald’s vision is preached to. Adhering to, enacting and reflecting the values of such a figure, they are fixed toward the collapse of the current Ministry, and the tearing down of the Statute of Secrecy — while propagandizing the image of a cleansed wizarding world, one in which their kind is not only part of the known world, but is governing over it as well.

today, our preview for you is three of our nine standard member groups. in addition to those nine, there are also three premium member groups. while we do have premium member groups, we hope that you never feel limited by what kinds of characters you can play. these member groups, more than anything, are supposed to be fun and serve the purpose, mostly, of aesthetics. the premiums are merely bonuses. fun fact: you’ll have the chance to earn a free premium member group by completing the task being posted in a few hours. that said, below the cut are the descriptions of ivy, sunflower, & iris.

ivy — the olympian, the survivalist, the adventurer

ballet classes from birth, smashed avocado on wheat toast, stretching before a workout, always choosing the stairs, a passport covered in stamps, not afraid to try something new, acai bowls, shopping for new workout clothes, anything that gets the blood pumping, calculated risks, roller coasters, watching the amazing race and survivor, long runs to clear their head, prepping for zombie apocalypses, spending hours at the gym, green juice cleanses, always wearing their fitbit, getting a full eight hours of sleep.

sunflower — the activist, the leader, the workaholic

speaking up on the behalf of others, painting signs for a rally, sleek ponytails, color-coded folders and notebooks, incapable of biting their tongue, early mornings and late nights, punctual to a fault, using all their phone storage on music downloads, fuck capitalism and eat the rich, ambitious as hell, small businesses, iced coffee, #girlboss, big plans, just wait and see, filling up their planners, organized chaos, standing up for what they believe in, wanting to do a little bit of everything, future leaders, future doers.

iris — the polymath, the bookworm, the astrophile

spending hours in the quiet corner of a cafe, black coffee, laptop screens, well-loved books that are also well-maintained, gazing at the stars and pointing out the constellations, memorizing formulas and solving equations, the scales of justice, well-tailored suits, polished dress shoes, dominating trivia nights, a little bit stubborn, playing the daily wordle, houndstooth print, pressed shirts, braided hair, using knowledge as a weapon, whispering, soft smiles, long lashes, pinkie promises, learning new things just for fun, wisdom is power.
