We wanted everyone to get a little taste of our site, the skin and what the profiles look like. Just a little taste for you all! Also a special shoutout to @daisycodes the orginal creator of the skin!

SKIN PREVIEW: CONVERGENCE

This week we're hard at work finishing the forum, which is adapted from Monty's i know the end skin! Here's a look at the work in progress, and a few of its features:

upper nav with easy links to everything useful, so that you never have to jump around to get to what you need

theme colors adjust by membergroup, pictured above in the memberlist cards (sioclite = purple, earth = orange, icrilles = blue, aubr = red)

memberlist filtering and sorting replaces our directory and makes it easy to find similar characters to plot with

everything about your character is on the mainprofile — including your shipper!

faceclaims and thread trackers are automagic (with many thanks to fizzyelf!)

she's a huge bitch, first off. pandora is a mysterious figure haunting the locals of kingsnorth, maine. she claims to be a kingsnorth college student, and she must be one, because she attended every event this year from the bi-annual flower dance to the anti-valentine's day party at the mill. she's even orchestrated multiple icloud leaks courtesy of the school wi-fi!

or is she multiple kingsnorth college students? because she sees all, reports on all, and seems to be everywhere at all times - whether that means blending in at a residence party, lurking around the junkyard, or simply in your dms, threatening to reveal your secrets unless you pay up - in money, or in someone else's secrets.

the oldest motorcycle club in new mexico, wildcats m.c. has been around since 1949. formed in the aftermath of world war ii by joseph delaford, a veteran who had returned home to find a country he could no longer relate to, and a group of local motorcycle enthusiasts working dead-end jobs at the bottom of the food chain. as time went on and society moved through its eras, so did the wildcats, who evolved from a local nuisance to a force to be reckoned with, smuggling anything of value over the border from mexico to sell for huge profit in the southern states. drugs and guns followed in due course when the m.c. turned more ambitious...

hello lovelies! 🗽 for our final bow before we see you all tomorrow for our grand opening, we have a sneak peek of our gorgeous character profile which was coded by our lovely admin jazz! 🥰

as we are a profile app site, this is also your application. there is more to see, but if we showed it all, it wouldn't be a sneak peek! it has a information section, a shipper section, a relationship link and two different forms of app. in this screenshot we also have an example of our stunning member colours, and you can see our face-sharing options right there in the middle too. this makes it super simple to see if a face you'd like is available for sharing!

we can't wait to read all your lovely applications and get to know your amazing characters. we've been working on love dive for so long, it almost doesn't feel real that we're opening tomorrow. the staff are beyond excited to meet you all!

Awakened Powers: The first Gifted character created by each member must have newly awakened powers and be a novice at controlling them. This emphasizes the journey of discovering and mastering one's abilities.

Power Ratio: To maintain a balanced and diverse character pool, for every three Gifted characters you create, the next (fourth) character must be a civilian. This ensures a 3:1 ratio between Gifted and civilians.

Limited Power Usage: Each unique power can only be used twice on the site. For example, if there are already two characters with hydrokinesis, a third character with the same power cannot be created unless you purchase it from our site marketplace.

Primary Abilities and Applications: Each character is allowed to possess a single primary ability. This primary ability can have up to two applications that logically and directly correlate with the character's primary power. These applications should be detailed in the character's application.

Comprehensive Ability Descriptions: Character applications must include a detailed section describing their abilities. While not every aspect of an ability needs to be included in the app, members are encouraged to provide comprehensive descriptions. Be respectful to fellow players when using abilities in character.

Organic Growth and Changes: Powers can naturally change and evolve over time, but these changes should occur organically through in-character writing. Adjustments to the power section of a character's application should not be made solely to accommodate changes without roleplay. After 6+ months of activity and points accumulated, you can purchase an official ability upgrade or second power (if your character has one) from the marketplace.

Staff Approval: Staff approval is not required to make amendments to the power section of your application. However, changes should be in line with the character's development and not disrupt the balance of the RP. (So I think the opposite but you know)

Banned Powers:

Certain powers are prohibited within the RP site due to their potentially game-breaking nature. Banned powers include: Omnipotence/Omniscience Global Reality Manipulation Mythical Creature Physiology Vampirism/Lycanthropy Magic Power Replication Power Stealing Intuitive Aptitude (cannot be used to copy powers) Total Elemental Mastery Time Manipulation (This power will be under heavy scrutiny by the staff. They reserve the right to veto it completely or allow variations on the power to exist)

site preview 002.1 (founding families)

one of the first families to settle in the area, back when it was still known as fort james, the van fleers were dutch entrepreneurs who jumped at the opportunity to mine the ridges overlooking the settlement during the gold rush. edward van fleer set up a company to this end, employing a number of former soldiers and other settlers. very little ore was ever discovered or mined around what would later come to be known as ‘hinnom’; just enough to make the van fleers modestly wealthy. when the mines had all but dried up and shut down, edward’s son peter turned his hand to growing vines upon the steppes where the mines had been. some said it was a mad venture and that he would surely lose his fortune in the unpredictable and hostile soils, but sure enough the vines grew, and to this day the van fleer vineyards remains the most fertile thing about hinnom. the first ever mayor of hinnom was a van fleer, naturally, and the position was held by their offspring via nepotism for decades. recently, a van fleer lost their bid for reelection for the first time ever, to one of the rose family – their bitter rivals.
