Conjunction Junction

1.  My dog Cooper is a poodle and a retriever. His fur is gold and it has reddish parts and doesn’t shed. He is good at sitting, playing dead and commands in Spanish. His favorite toys are stuffed animals he can pull apart and branches (sticks) for playing fetch. Cooper loves salmon for dinner and for snacks he prefers mangos.

2.  My favorite wall in my home is an installation of the 59 national parks and I am not missing one because a new national park was recently announced. The way it’s laid out is 13 across and 5 high and I organized them east to west to reflect their location on the US map. It uses images from the park and animals from that region. I’ve visited 10 and added postcards from state parks too.

3.  My best friend Kenzie and I have known each other since the 7th grade and we have stayed best friends even though we’ve lived in different places for the past 9 years. Kenzie is from California and lives in Florida for her masters program. She is a rock climber and she studies invasive plant species. Her favorite foods are usually contain greens (salads) and also loves to eat ice cream.

It is creamy and citrusy and it has a bit of crunch and with the strawberries bringing it bring it to a full circle.I enjoy making it and have to plan out far in advance because it takes 6hrs total to be made.  So it is usually a dessert for a special occasion and sometimes I get request from friends to make it.

6am sonó la alarma 7am volvió a sonar 7:15 ya, a levantarme. 

Una cocina llena como si hubiese habido fiesta. La organicé, le ayudé a mi hermana con su arepita de chócolo y empacarla con quesito para que se fuera a trabajar... ya que iba tarde... como siempre. 

Entraba a trabajar a las 9. Y a las 8 ya estaba hasta descargando música del tiempo que tenía de sobra. Mi jefe me pidió pedir un transporte para recoger los equipos que estaban en una de las estaciones de servicio que iba a atender para llevarlos a otro lugar. Ya no tenía que resolver cómo irme para el trabajo. Aunque ya le había escrito a Arenas que me prestara 10 mil pesos que ya me estaba mandando en el momento que se los pedí. Ya tenía cómo pagarle los 4 mil que le debía a Johnny Mesa, de Merengones Medellín, de un domicilio que había pedido días atrás para la Barbie Galáctica. Había mencionado que quería unas fresas con crema y pues... yo sabía dónde conseguirlas. 

El día de trabajo fue uno común y corriente. Sol, atender clientes, bla-bla, nada interesante, hasta que le dije a Maya que instaláramos un Walkie Talkie para celular. Hablamos mucho mientras yo trabajaba, y así no me aburría. Llovió lo que detuvo un poco el trabajo, pero después de que cesó la lluvia, Maya fue a saludarme. Cada vez más, aprecio los detalles que este man tiene conmigo. Era mi primer día de trabajo en esa estación de servicio, que estaba muy lejos de mi zona de confort de la ciudad, lejos de nuestro barrio. Aun así, allá apareció para saludarme, porque a nada más. Hablamos como 20 minutos y se fue a jugar parqués en casa de Andrés Giraldo, un parcerazo que Maya me presentó alguna vez. Hablar de Andrés era pensar en Cristina. Mamasita.

Retándome a que, si adivinaba qué es eso, me regalaba 100 Euros. Me dio tres oportunidades y... adiviné jajajjajajajajaja.

Son rociadores de nieve artificial. Resulta que allá no cae suficiente nieve para los deportistas, así que la hacen artificialmente. Ya por fin tengo un poco de dinero para recuperar mi iPhone que está en reparación y tener algo para pagar aquí en casa. 

Antes de finalizar jornada abrí Rappi... para pedir un domicilio y vi una promoción.  Pizza de 17.000 en 4.500. Eche pa’cá le dije al celular. Y esperé a que llegara la pizza en la estación de servicio, aunque ya había terminado de trabajar.

Había quedado de reunirme con doña Patricia, a quien conocí por unos celulares que había averiguado un mes antes para comprar, porque tenía que hablarme de su empresa y de por qué yo debía escucharla. Fui hasta la iglesia del Salvador y fue una conversación en una panadería muy amena, que bella es la gente con la que uno se encuentra. Llegué a casa y ahí estaba Julián en la SuperDuke. Pagó mi transporte porque yo intenté pagar pero no tenía cambio y me entré. Le escribí a Sara, y aunque ella me habla bonito, siento que algo cambió hace unos días. Quisiera saber qué es, pero no voy a forzar nada. 

Mejor me acuesto pensando en que - Una relación es mejor llevarla despacio - Aunque no sepas algo, intentar averiguarlo puede traerte cosas buenas - Si llueve fuerte, escampa rápido.  - El cielo siempre se vuelve a despejar - Conocer gente de todas las edades es como ir abriendo tesoros cada vez

Ahora con la pandemia me volví mucho de postres, antes únicamente comía Merengon (postre colombiano) y era de vez en cuando; pero ahora he probado de todo; me quedo con el tres leches de chocolatito jajajaja ten lindo día 💜🤙
