Tibits Bankside unveils New Spring Menu

Tibits is an easy-going Vegetarian and Vegan restaurant situated just behind Tate Modern on Southwark Street. This family-owned eatery pride themselves in concocting new and fresh seasonal lunch and dinner dishes and also offer breakfast and brunch. Their Head Chef Brian Mesmain likes to get creative with his vegan menu and you’ll be spoilt for choice with their variety of options.

We went along to sample some of the new additions to their Spring menu, which use the best of the seasons’ produce. Highlights include the South Indian potato curry, Spicy Sweet Potato Salad, Spring Kimchi, and Apple and Rhubarb Crumble. All of these dishes were fresh and colourful, showcasing the kitchen team’s admirable commitment to tasty vegan fare. Particularly interesting is the payment system – your plate is weighed at the counter and you pay by the 100g.

Like us at Ethics Girls, Tibits are big into breakfast and this is a great spot to go for breakfast or brunch with friends. Tibits currently have a selection of freshly baked croissants, cakes, artisan breads, jams, homemade bircher muesli, fresh juices and fruits to try. Their juices are freshly squeezed on site every day and made from the freshest fruit and vegetables and are a good alternative to tea and coffee. I particularly like the ginger, carrot and apple juice with fennel and lemon.

With two London branches and ten in Switzerland, Tibits is establishing itself strongly within the European vegan and vegetarian market and we can strongly recommend a visit.

Pop in to taste Tibits’ new and nutritious seasonal dishes and drinks. From breakfast through to your evening meal, there are up to 40 dishes on offer every day. Also available to go and with Deliveroo.

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 9 - 11.30am.
