So you’re into The Rookie? Can I ask what season you’re on? We’re on season 5 now, friend
Hi, Anon! I am~ =w= 💖 I'm actually on the current season, airing on ABC, season 7~ (๑❛ᴗ❛๑✿)
I've seen season s1-6...many, many times. X'DDD Perhaps an unhealthy number of times, *LOL*. Aside from, like, one episode in s3, iirc, that Lifetime bungled airing when they first got the rights to air reruns (they fixed it later on, thank goodness!), I've seen all the eps (except for s7 current eps!) at least twice, and most of them like...four times or more. *don't look at me* ///_///
So yeah!!! Fellow Rookie friend!!! :D *high five* Sry it took me a bit to respond; I'm not super active on tumblr, tho you're always welcome in my askbox anytime (I do check on things!). I just happen to be most active on pillowfort! [Here for main, which includes art (even a bit of Rookie fanart, *lol*); here for fic...just one Rookie fic...so far. B3c] I truly adore the charries, stories...like, everything about this show, so pls feel free to gush! :3
#mewling stupid things#asks#anonymews#thx for asking hon#the rookie#i sincerely adore the rookie so so much it one of my primary loves even tho i've not nearly blogged about it enough yet XD#mewqueue

Why are all legedary condered genderless?
Because most of them are. Most Legendary Pokemon do not have genitals because they do not reproduce the same way the average Pokemon does.
That is, they don’t lay eggs (with a few exceptions). Most Legendary Pokemon boast an entirely unique way of reproduction. Take for example Deoxys. A newborn Deoxys is born from a formation between its parents’ chest gems rather than an egg.
I hope this answers your question.

Hello! I find your blog very informative and interesting! But I have an odd question. Are Darkrai attracted to certain kinds of music? While cleaning, I put some old records on (Sinatra, Sammy D Jr.,etc.) And I saw one under the shade in my backyard! it was frightening experience! My Electivire is wary but knows to keep his distance. But the odd thing is, he only appears when I play that kind of music. Even if I'm the one singing to myself, there he is. Call me crazy, but he seems to like it!
It’s not crazy at all.
Like humans, it’s not unusual for Pokemon to have special interests. There’s no certain kind of music all Darkrai are attracted to, but the one you are seeing may be drawn to the sound of older music.
Our resident Silvally loves any piano music, so I’ve purchased a music player to keep in its room when I’m not around throughout the day, and it seems far more relaxed once I get around to visit it!

How do Lugia and Ho-Oh feel about each other?
I suppose it depends on the Ho-Oh and the Lugia. They’re not naturally competitive like a Groudon and Kyogre, or Dialga and Palkia, but territorial skirmishes are always an issue whenever dealing with any large Pokemon.
Lugia and Ho-Oh really have no natural role they fall into once they see each other; Asking that question is like asking any singular person from Sinnoh what they think about a random person from Galar!

Anything on Mewtwo?
Since Mewtwo was created by man, for a time there was only one known to exist. Since then, it appears Mewtwo has “self-repopulated”, and created duplicates of itself.
There’s been a total of five recorded Mewtwos throughout the Pokémon world (the others have been affectionately nicknamed Mewthree, Mewfour, Mewfive, and Mewsix), making Mewtwo an official species and not just a single creature. Unfortunately, this also puts Mewtwo on the critically endangered list.
Since there’s so few of them to record, we don’t know the average lifespan of a Mewtwo, nor the exact limits of its power. All we know for certain is that it is far more intelligent than its original creators gave it credit for—intelligent enough to create more of itself, seemingly from thin air.
This has scared some government officials so much, that they’ve already established a “Anti-Two” protocol in their respective regions in case a Mewtwo goes rogue and creates an army of itself to attack humans.
Thanks for the request! I hope this has helped satisfy your curiosity!

Anything on Heatran?
A friendly Heatran is perhaps one of the most helpful Pokémon you can have around. A few farms use them to pull plows and fertilize the ground.
It’s a little known fact that Heatran dung is some of the best fertilizer!
If you plan to keep a Heatran, be prepared to spend a pretty penny—they almost exclusively eat lava rocks.
Thanks for the request!

I'd love to know more about Jirachi if that's alright!
A lot of ancient drawings have Jirachi and Victini drawn hand in hand. According to myth, if you manage to use your wish on Jirachi for victory, a Victini will come to your aid within the next few days.
Jirachi are extremely reclusive mythical Pokémon, so no one is certain just how many of them there are. They hibernate atop impossible to reach mountain peaks and even in underwater caves, living off of the air bubbles that become trapped.
Thanks for the request! I hope I’ve helped satify your curiosity.

Hi, I'm a professor-in-training, and I would like to ask if I could ask some questions about common Mew behavior, and share some of my own research?
Certainly. I’d always love to exchange research and information we’ve gathered across the regions!

do you have any cute facts about Phione or Manaphy?
A herd of Phione are called a “drift”, which is a term they share with another line of non-legendary Pokémon: Drifloon and Drifblim!
Manaphy are frequently observed as a matriarch or patriarch of a drift, with one Manaphy per 15 Phione.
Phione are the most populous of mythical Pokémon, and it’s often debated whether they can really be considered a mythical Pokémon or not. In my book, at least, they are!
Thanks for the request!
