– Kyouya: only understands hierarchy

… And then you have Kenta.

I’ll start with our resident Filipino legend Acec since he’s in the same timeline as my gang. Xe’s a very OuO guy, so I think at first Ash and Kylie would be a bit put off, maybe try but struggle to hold conversations with him. They may eventually they warm up to him when they realise xe is just A Guy and not a changling of some kind. But fellow autism Madina knows there’s no need for flowing conversations when you have funny little pictures to share. They’d hit it off best with their simultaneous lack of seriousness and genuine sincerity. They snoop around team Dungeon collecting The Goss. They sit quietly and watch mcyt videos for hours on end, eyes dead and legs bouncing. Madina would pick him up and swing him around like Mario swinging Gay Bowser. Also they both like beautiful men. Maybe they can double date and re-introduce Tsubasa and Bao to each other, since they definitely do not remember each other at all. God bless amercia o7

Trucker Dave is the person who’s most likely to know Vita and the crew since he's Coach Steel’s husband. Idk if Steel’s still the main coach in the Zero Era but ain’t no way he’s out of there completely, so Dave still passes through from time to time. And if he notices a kid having a rough time, he'll try to offer a bit of Queer Trucker Wisdom. With Vita being the leader of her team and also queer, it's likely Dave could notice her going through some Stuff and give some good ol' advice, maybe let her pet his dog while she vents a bit. They both seem to have very calming and trusting presences so I think they'd get on quite well.

Now, ASHANTI. Ash would LOVE Vita. In her time, she was the only female team leader in the championships, so seeing an up-and-coming female team leader would be absolutely delightful. At that point she's also a beyblading coach, so maybe she could reach out and give some advice? Offer some training or even a mentorship if she can stand being in the US for that long? They're both sort of "older sister" figures, so she could also help Vita navigate the feelings that come with that (also them combined with Aria and Kylie?? Slay).

The Birrung girls would see Ashton Angsto and think "man aren't we glad we had no dudes on our team" or maybe "wow the kids these days have problems. we had problems once." But they don't see him as a threat to anyone as much as just a dickhead who'll hopefully learn about the magic of friendship, as all other minor dickheads in the championships tend to do. So long as he stays in his lane and doesn't join any evil corporations, they won't sick any wild hounds on him (although if Ash is also Vita's mentor... then that might change. Go full Madina mode if you know what I mean (I really don't care that you're a baby, I'll snap your neck like a twig)).

Miyuki Koorikawa grew up in Aichi, Japan with her mother, father and her younger sister Arina. Her family are pretty wealthy. Her dream is to become a great singer when she got older. She did not have many friends, She doing singing as a hobby. Miyuki had always been an aspiring ice skater, but was interested in Beyblading, observing the neighbourhood children battle each other from a distance after practice. Her parents, concerned for her safety, did not want her Beyblading with the others as yet.

When she turned six years old, her mother presented her with the Beyblade, Blizzard Cygnus containing a beautiful swan BeySpirit that Miyuki immediately took a liking to. At first, she was not used to launching her Beyblade and keeping it spinning which discouraged her but she did not give up. A few weeks of training and watching the other children, she learned how to launch her Beyblade properly. Eager to show the others, she decided to show off her moves against another girl in front of a crowd. Fired up and passionate about her first battle, she was not unhappy from losing but instead vowed to become better and soon the best blader that Japan has ever seen.

At the age of eight, she had grown both in strength and in confidence and put ice skating off to the side to focus on her skills as a Beyblader. Miyuki was acquainted with all the other kids that lived near her and was told about a junior Beyblading contest that was taking place by Arina, who had signed her up already. Although nervous, Miyuki was pumped and eagerly agreed to participate and came out in second place. She was excited about her win but even more excited about discovering a new special move: Ice Crystal Assault.

One day when Miyuki goes to elite school. She heard from another girl that they're going to have a new transfer student in their class. That when the sliver haired boy name Tsubasa Otori came in. Miyuki thinks that he was cute and want to be his friend. Tsubasa sat next to Miyuki. Miyuki smile at him and introduce herself to him. He smile back. She would like to be friends with him. He responded yes. They became friends. They hang out alot. They getting along great.

When Miyuki was older, she decided to have a Beyblade battle practice. During a practice session with her Beyblade at a nearby gym, she ended up running into her childhood friend, Tsubasa. Excited to see him again. She was going to spend time with him, They decided to catch up on the time she missed while she was away with him over lunch, and later met with Tsubasa’s friends.  She became friends with the others, such as Madoka and Kenta. More powerful than when she was a child, Miyuki decided to take on Gingka Hagane and display her newfound skills. Madoka, Tsubasa, and Kenta all came to watch the unfolding of the challenge she presented. It was a tough fight and both Beyblades took a reasonable amount of damage. Even with Miyuki's Cygnus’s special move, she ended up tying with the powerful Blader. Gingka congratulates her, and remarks on how strong her Blader's Spirit is and how much stronger it could be if she kept believing in herself. They shake hands and she smiles, content with her victory, not in battle, but in herself and spirit which made her feel victorious. She soon joined Battle Bladers, wanting to achieve her dreams of becoming the best. However, things took a turn for the worst when she faced off against Ryuga. She was thrilled with excitement, and nearly managed to defeat him by putting up an amazing fight while taking so many of Lightning L-Drago’s attacks, but Ryuga used his dark power, which nearly destroyed Miyuki's bey. She sadly forfeited the battle, feeling saddened by the loss, but Madoka vowed to fix up her Bey and make it good as new again.

Before the World Championship, Miyuki spent time with her sister Arina to to recalling her past endeavours up to then. She was so happy to see them and expressed her feelings about Beyblading, while later introducing Arina to Tsubasa and the others. Miyuki then tells Gingka and the others that she Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko are going to be on Team BladeValkyrie, with her as the team leader. Excited about the World Championship, they agreed that they all make it their objective to have fun! Team BladeValkyrie managed to defeat Team Korea and Team Mexico, the next round leading to GanGan Galaxy and Miyuki was excited. Nichiko battled against Masamune and won. Reika battled Tsubasa, and nearly won until Tsubasa's dark power took over and caused him to nearly destroy Reika's Bey, which she ended up losing. Finally, Miyuki battled against Gingka, but lost to him.

After a break, BladeValkyrie got a second chance and battled against Team Starbreaker, which won against them and nearly outed their team from the tournament. Upon going against Damian, he traps her and Cgynus inside Hades’ Gates, but they break out of the chains and Miyuki almost manages to pull out a spectacular victory against him with her strongest Special Move: Sub-Zero Cannon. Both attacks collided, causing a massive explosion that covered the entire field in smoke. As the smoke slowly clears, it reveals Cgynus has stopped spinning with a stadium sleepout, while Hades barely managed to keep spinning,

During the Hades City incident, she, along with Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko help Gingka and many others fight against members of the HD Academy alliance.

A year and a couple weeks later, after the defeat of Hades Inc and the destruction of the Spiral Core, a strange event occurred. A new Star Fragment similar to the one that created Storm Pegasus and Lightning L-Drago exploded and spread out twelve beams of light that fell on Earth, hitting and enchanting eleven destined Beyblades. These Beys would prove to help in a time of darkness, as the legend of the star foretells.

Miyuki journeys with Gingka and the others to find the Legendary Bladers to help defeat Nemesis, as well as becoming one herself, which represents Earth. It was the danger of the battle against Rago that made her realise her obvious crush on Tsubasa. As the time came for Gingka and his group to depart, Miyuki was unsure on how to confess her feelings to Tsubasa. While walking through the forest of a nearby park they'd met, aimlessly wandering deep in thought, she accidentally trips on a root and nearly tumbles into the river, only to be caught by Tsubasa. He comments on her clumsiness and how she should not make it a habit. Nervously laughing, she tells him that she hopes that he could be by her side to help her when she can’t help herself, and confesses her affection for him.

I think we deserved some more silly episodes in mfb that allowed characters to bond, like the changing parts one with Kenta and Benkei in Fusion. Stuff that obviously shows off what beys can do but not in typical battle format

Like what if after the gang infiltrates Doji's place for the first time, after the Ryuga reveal and all that, Gingka brings up the fact they had to deal with insane obstacles and they're probably only gonna get more intense or weird if they wanna face the guy again. So he's like, "Why don't we do some special training?" and it's just stupid challenges. If you launch your bey vertically on a wall, how far could it go? If the ground was shaking beneath you or if you stood on a rolling log in water, how well could you hit targets? How well can your bey smash through different surfaces? Something unorthodox

But we know Gingka, Kenta and Benkei. They'll obviously make everything a competition. So it's just a whole comedic relief moment of them trying their damned hardest to pull off these challenges and claim that they're better. Kyoya eventually being like, move aside, I got this, and either smashing every challenge and fueling everyone's anger more or becoming just as invested as the others

Idk they just deserved more episodes that allowed them to be friends without worrying about the destruction of the world or some massive high stakes competition or something

When she turned six years old, her mother presented her with the Beyblade, Blizzard Cygnus containing a beautiful swan BeySpirit that Miyuki immediately took a liking to. At first, she was not used to launching her Beyblade and keeping it spinning which discouraged her but she did not give up. A few weeks of training and watching the other children, she learned how to launch her Beyblade properly. Eager to show the others, she decided to show off her moves against another girl in front of a crowd. Fired up and passionate about her first battle, she was not unhappy from losing but instead vowed to become better and soon the best blader that Japan has ever seen.

At the age of eight, she had grown both in strength and in confidence and put ice skating off to the side to focus on her skills as a Beyblader. Miyuki was acquainted with all the other kids that lived near her and was told about a junior Beyblading contest that was taking place by Arina, who had signed her up already. Although nervous, Miyuki was pumped and eagerly agreed to participate and came out in second place. She was excited about her win but even more excited about discovering a new special move: Ice Crystal Assault.

One day when Miyuki goes to elite school. She heard from another girl that they're going to have a new transfer student in their class. That when the sliver haired boy name Tsubasa Otori came in. Miyuki thinks that he was cute and want to be his friend. Tsubasa sat next to Miyuki. Miyuki smile at him and introduce herself to him. He smile back. She would like to be friends with him. He responded yes. They became friends. They hang out alot. They getting along great.

When Miyuki was older, she decided to have a Beyblade battle practice. During a practice session with her Beyblade at a nearby gym, she ended up running into her childhood friend, Tsubasa. Excited to see him again. She was going to spend time with him, They decided to catch up on the time she missed while she was away with him over lunch, and later met with Tsubasa’s friends.  She became friends with the others, such as Madoka and Kenta. More powerful than when she was a child, Miyuki decided to take on Gingka Hagane and display her newfound skills. Madoka, Tsubasa, and Kenta all came to watch the unfolding of the challenge she presented. It was a tough fight and both Beyblades took a reasonable amount of damage. Even with Miyuki's Cygnus’s special move, she ended up tying with the powerful Blader. Gingka congratulates her, and remarks on how strong her Blader's Spirit is and how much stronger it could be if she kept believing in herself. They shake hands and she smiles, content with her victory, not in battle, but in herself and spirit which made her feel victorious. She soon joined Battle Bladers, wanting to achieve her dreams of becoming the best. However, things took a turn for the worst when she faced off against Ryuga. She was thrilled with excitement, and nearly managed to defeat him by putting up an amazing fight while taking so many of Lightning L-Drago’s attacks, but Ryuga used his dark power, which nearly destroyed Miyuki's bey. She sadly forfeited the battle, feeling saddened by the loss, but Madoka vowed to fix up her Bey and make it good as new again.

Before the World Championship, Miyuki spent time with her sister Arina to to recalling her past endeavours up to then. She was so happy to see them and expressed her feelings about Beyblading, while later introducing Arina to Tsubasa and the others. Miyuki then tells Gingka and the others that she Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko are going to be on Team BladeValkyrie, with her as the team leader. Excited about the World Championship, they agreed that they all make it their objective to have fun! Team BladeValkyrie managed to defeat Team Korea and Team Mexico, the next round leading to GanGan Galaxy and Miyuki was excited. Nichiko battled against Masamune and won. Reika battled Tsubasa, and nearly won until Tsubasa's dark power took over and caused him to nearly destroy Reika's Bey, which she ended up losing. Finally, Miyuki battled against Gingka, but lost to him.

After a break, BladeValkyrie got a second chance and battled against Team Starbreaker, which won against them and nearly outed their team from the tournament. Upon going against Damian, he traps her and Cgynus inside Hades’ Gates, but they break out of the chains and Miyuki almost manages to pull out a spectacular victory against him with her strongest Special Move: Sub-Zero Cannon. Both attacks collided, causing a massive explosion that covered the entire field in smoke. As the smoke slowly clears, it reveals Cgynus has stopped spinning with a stadium sleepout, while Hades barely managed to keep spinning,

During the Hades City incident, she, along with Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko help Gingka and many others fight against members of the HD Academy alliance.

A year and a couple weeks later, after the defeat of Hades Inc and the destruction of the Spiral Core, a strange event occurred. A new Star Fragment similar to the one that created Storm Pegasus and Lightning L-Drago exploded and spread out twelve beams of light that fell on Earth, hitting and enchanting eleven destined Beyblades. These Beys would prove to help in a time of darkness, as the legend of the star foretells.

Miyuki journeys with Gingka and the others to find the Legendary Bladers to help defeat Nemesis, as well as becoming one herself, which represents Earth. It was the danger of the battle against Rago that made her realise her obvious crush on Tsubasa. As the time came for Gingka and his group to depart, Miyuki was unsure on how to confess her feelings to Tsubasa. While walking through the forest of a nearby park they'd met, aimlessly wandering deep in thought, she accidentally trips on a root and nearly tumbles into the river, only to be caught by Tsubasa. He comments on her clumsiness and how she should not make it a habit. Nervously laughing, she tells him that she hopes that he could be by her side to help her when she can’t help herself, and confesses her affection for him.

fuckin uh. zero g fantasy au. this has been brewing around in my head for a while and I’ve been meaning to draw it but I suck ass at designing and drawing fantasy outfits so I’m gonna share the thoughts I’ve had about it publicly in writing instead!!

Basically this all started when I was thinking about the sheer volume of zyronobu’s knight and princeisms and then I was like. what if they actually were a knight and a prince. ****epic autism explosion**** So essentially, Shinobu is a prince who is kinda bored and stuck doing basically nothing a lot of the time, just generally kinda cooped up in the palace. Zyro serves as his personal bodyguard, but is also kinda the head knight of the castle and has a lot of his own responsibilities, and the two of them are both crushing on each other SOOOOOO hard.

- one scenario I enjoy is Shinobu spending a lot of time on a particular balcony that overlooks the knights’ training area and he not-so-subtly frequently watches Zyro do his thing.

- In this au, Ren is also knight in training and takes a sort of apprentice/partner role with Zyro. There has been more than one occasion where Zyro has gotten distracted upon noticing Shinobu watching them/waving back to Shinobu while he and Ren are sparring and she gets really heated at him for not paying attention.

- Because they don’t really get to spend a lot of time together bc they have separate stuff going on, Shinobu ends up contriving a lot of reasons why he needs to go out and have Zyro accompany him. Zyro is entirely oblivious to Shinobu’s scheming but he is very happy every opportunity he gets.

For other thoughts I’ve had, Kite is like an alchemist/scholar and spends a lot of time in the castle library. Because he has nothing better to do, Shinobu also spends a lot of time in the castle library and bugs Kite. Kite hates this. One interaction I’ve had in my mind with them is kite being like “my prince, if you don’t mind me asking, WHY DO YOU KEEP COMING HERE AND BOTHERING ME????” and Shinobu’s like “because I have nothing better to do and you’re one of the only people on this palace who is willing to talk to me like that and treat me like a real person.” and kites just like. gfdi. He hates it (he really doesn’t but don’t tell him that he wouldn’t like it) (they’re besties don’t let them try to convince you otherwise).

I haven’t thought a ton abt eight and maru in this au but they are also there. Eight just hangs around kite per usual and perhaps causes mischief around the castle. Perhaps Madoka is a blacksmith who works closely with the royal family and Maru is her apprentice who hangs around the royal guard a lot.

There’s also a digivalen subplot because I will insert digivalen into any and every au I create. Kite one day goes out for supplies or whatever and encounters a mysterious traveling merchant. They present themself as any other merchant would, but kite can tell there’s something more too them. He senses that they may be a magic user, and a strong one at that, but he can’t get them to reveal anything to him. He’s intrigued though, and after their first interaction, kite just can’t stop thinking about her.

Another thought I’ve had with this au is how the main gang all kinda come together as an adventuring party. Shinobu once again asks Zyro to accompany him as he needs to go run some errands out in town, but Ren tags along, insisting Zyro’s been ditching her too much lately and she needs more experience. Kite also catches word of this, and since they’re gonna be out, insists upon tagging along so he may have an opportunity to meet with that merchant again, and eight naturally follows along wherever kite goes. Maru, seeing such an interesting group all together naturally tags along wherever her heart deems may be intriguing, and suddenly this is a whole group outing when Shinobu just wanted another excuse to go on a date with his cute knight.

The other og cast can also be here n there wherever you see fit. Benkei owns a popular local tavern in town, but he’s also a well renowned knight trainer. While Zyro serves as something of a captain of the guard, all of them, including him, answer to Benkei and he oversees all of their training and is their highest mentor. He’s also formally been a mentor to Kenta, the legendary knight of flame. Gingka too is a legendary knight, now on his own solo journey, and was originally the one to gift Zyro his sword and inspire him to become who he is now.

Tsubasa’s. probably around there somewhere. I guess king would fit as far as his role in the story goes but King Tsubasa just sounds wrong to me.

BUT WAIT, THERES MORE. Another subplot, because my favs are very special and get their own whole side story.

For many years across the land, there’s been a legend passed around, only heard about through rumors and hushed whispers. The details of it aren’t exactly clear, and the story is told differently by every person who tells it, but all anyone knows for sure is that there’s a dragon, a prince, a tower, and a curse.

Naturally, Takanosuke Shishiya, a scrappy young knight in training who’s looking for a mentor has taken from the legend that somewhere out there, there’s a prince who’s been cursed to reside in a tower guarded by a dragon, and he’s determined to rescue this prince in hopes of him potentially being able to help Takanosuke in his search for a mentor. You can imagine Takanosuke’s surprise when he believes he’s found the tower of the legend, only to find it with a giant hole blown through it, claw marks trailing down its sides with scorch marks around the destruction and in the land around it, which he notices create a path trailing beyond the tower.

Okay, perhaps a different adventure than Takanosuke had expected, but he still opts to follow the trail of burns in hopes of still finding the prince.

Eventually, he actually does, discovering Sakyo Kurayami, the cursed prince who as he declares, bears the curse of the jet black dragon. He is, as far as he knows, the only surviving member of his kingdom, as the curse overwhelmed everyone else, including his own family. The last person who was ever able to control the curse was the legendary dragon emperor, who no one knows the real fate of. Some say he died in battle, others say he just disappeared, but all anyone knows is that no one has seen or heard of him in years, and Sakyo has somehow inherited his blade. Now, Sakyo has set about on his own quest, trying to follow in the footsteps of the dragon emperor to try to learn how to control the curse (and maybe perhaps create his own future after a little more character development). Takanosuke insists upon tagging along with him, hoping the two can become stronger together, and while the adventure is off to a rocky start, fate always works in mysterious ways.

Masamune: Okay, probably no one is surprised by this one, lol. Idk what it is but something about his confidence just speaks to me, even if he can be arrogant at times. I just love his dumbass energy and he has some really nice tender moments scattered throughout the series.

Yuu: He was my top favorite character throughout my childhood. Back then, his childish nature was very relatable for me, although l saw only later that he becomes more mature in Fury.

Gingka: I love this guy so much! He's the perfect blend of serious and goofy and I wish there were more protagonists with a personality like his.

Hyoma: They did my ice demon boy dirty. I just love his introduction episode and the way he can pretend to be whoever the situation requires so easily is great. I wish the show explored his dynamic with Gingka more and that we got more flashbacks to their childhood.

Madoka: I love this girl so much. I wish we got to know more about her. I loved her role in the story though; as a mechanic, she was crucial to the gang despite not being a blader herself, not to mention her hacking and analytic skills helped out a lot.

5) Tsubasa and Yu, Kenta and Ryuuga, & Dynamis and Tithi. Basically I hold them on the same place because I view them as the same. Kind of like a mentor/student dynamic that evolved (or had the potential to evolve) into a big brother/little brother dynamic. They are cannon and they were honestly the most interesting dynamics of Masters and Fury respectively.

We have VERY little time with Dynamis and Tithi, but I treasure every minute and I would love to see them just living their lives and learning about the world together. I think that Dynamis appreciates having a person to protect and Tithi appreciates having someone who is just as clueless of the outside world as he is.

I feel that if Ryuuga was more allowed to feel emotions and the plot had been allowed to step away from beyblade battles, we would have amazing episodes where they get a more stablished dynamic...But alas, Beyblade is a shonen first and a series second.

Tsubasa and Yu are so funny to me because while it appeared to be Yu being an annoying little kid following Tsubasa around because he was cool turned into an actual sibling relationship where Tsubasa would kill everyone in the room if anything were to happen to Yu....And vice versa because let's face it, Yu could be a menace to society if he wanted to.

4) Benkei and Kyoya. Okay so you all know I'm not fond of Kyoya but I just love how by Fury, Benkei was Kyoya's impulse control. LIKE I'M NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING. This man has probably prevented so many Kyoya disasters and we should thank him! Something I also like is that we see a moment in Fusion where Kyoya realizes that Benkei truly cares for him, and that he is wasting his time trying to push him away. I think he has problems grasping having someone who cares about him that unconditionally. If you ask me, I feel like Benkei was onto something when he said Kenta reminded him of himself when he was little. I think Benkei has just always been a ride or die guy from the start.

3) Madoka and Yuki. We were robbed. ROBBED I TELL YOU. We were robbed of these silly nerds just hanging out, doing science, and simply being buddies together. I have many AU's where they are siblings or at some point related because the possibilities of them being nerdy twins and causing mayhem is just huge. If the gang in Fury had been the Scooby Doo gang, these two would be fucking Velma and I just love that.

I love how Yuki is terrible at pretty much anything that isn't science and I love that Madoka is very gifted but is also good at social interaction. I would love for them to have a friendship where they are just chill nerds doing their science, talking about complicated topics and ending up talking about how to defeat the British museum when the initial topic was the long list of actors/singers considered to play Eric in the Phantom of the Opera film adaptation and why it should have been Antonio Banderas.

2) Okay, so this is very fanon but there is a reason why I love the idea of King, Chris, and Yuki as a friend group. THEY WOULD BALANCE EACH OTHER SO WELL! King would bring some fucking sunshine to their lives, Yuki would bring some critical thinking, and Chris would just ask himself why he hangs out with these two idiots. He has better things to do, but then realize that no he fucking doesn't. If they are in trouble, he has a shovel, nobody will find out.

1) I'm a simple woman. Gingka, Kenta, and Madoka. THEY ARE A FAMILY, OKAY?! THEY ARE A FUCKING FAMILY AND I ALWAYS LOVED THEIR DYNAMIC!

No matter what, these three will remain the reason why I started watching MFB. The first time I watched it, I was sick and couldn't get the remote, and the episode airing was the one about Tetsuya AND I JUST LOVED HOW THESE THREE FRIENDS WERE DEALING WITH THIS WEIRDO CRAB GUY!

I love how childish they are, I love how they would act first and ask questions later for each other, I love how Gingka and Kenta NEVER treat Madoka like a nag EVER. I also love how no matter how many adventures they have or how many friends they make, we can always find them back at the B-Pit chilling.

Also, I have a headcannon that Kenta becomes taller than BOTH of them in the future. And it just. Makes me happy.

Everything that happens in Fusion and Masters is the exact same except for extremely minor details (Ziggurat is now in charge of what is called Zeus Incorporated instead of Hades Incorporated). Nile and Demure are still in Wild Fang the same way they are in the regular MFB timeline!

In the Solar Swap AU version of Fury, they still get to go with the whole gang to Atlantis Island as well (the timeline equivalent of Mist Mountain). I'll talk more about them later but don't worry about them too much, they're still on the good guy side!
