For our last night in South Beach, we decided to take it easy. M wanted to go to The Deuce as he had been too busy to go so far during our stay, and so I suggested South Beach Brewing Company Taproom down by 11th Street. The food and vibe looked nice and relaxed, and I had tried their blood orange IPA at Yardbird the day before and really liked it.
We hit a snag in that the address for the taproom in Uber is not what it should be, and we were brought to a hostel 20 minutes away. If you’re planning on taking a rideshare, don’t go by the name but the specific address instead.
M is a huge smoked fish dip fan and we’ve tried a few around South Florida, and this one is a solid contender. They get it shipped from Key Largo every other day, and with some crusty bread and some celery, it’s a delightful snack with some local beers. The sandwiches were also good--the sauce for the meatballs is made in part with their blood orange IPA, and the bier cheese (a suggestion from our bartender) is made with Hatch chiles and had a nice kick to it.

Postcards from Snagglepuss
Hardly the ideal milieu to swim among dolphins
As a sort of field trip, Peter Potamus had what might best be called the Rather Brilliant Idea of taking our motley little company at his dive cabin in the Keys to Islamorada's Theater of the Sea, which, as Peter explained, "may not exactly be SeaWorld, but perhaps offers an ideal lesson us divers can learn for once."
"And what exactly," asked Huckleberry Hound, "is that lesson?"
"About how NOT to associate with dolphins, or even interact with them."
The point of which was not lost on as much Peter as our crew when it came to not only watching a rather hokey-looking dolphin show (the which, park management insist, is actually more audience-friendly than SeaWorld, the Miami Seaquarium even, because the seating is designed for better audience interaction with the performing dolphins--heavens to Bubbleland!), but also having an opportunity to actually swim with (rather than merely feeding or caressing) actual dolphins; as a matter of fact, Theater of the Sea has perhaps the longest-running dolphin-swim program in the country open to the general public (as opposed to such which are therapeutically structured for such with specific disorders), yet is careful to have staff on hand insisting on what is and is not acceptable standards for playing and swimming with dolphins.
Which almost got rather embarrassing when, for some reason or another, a rather passionate-minded female dolphin got a little too affectionate for Hair Bear and Square Bear in a shallow-water caressing pool to the point of--well, let's just say the female dolphin got too amourous and had to be directed back to the training pool by one of the dolphin handlers. To imagine bears and dolphins being all the more amourous in their own way, and yet towards each other, is a little silly to imagine.
The point of which was brought up unto Squiddly Diddly (of all characters!), who was preparing for some underwater photography camps for disadvantaged children and youth in the Keys and was spending time at Theater of the Sea when he noticed our presence. It was over lunch when the converse took place.
Squiddly Diddly, in fact, was rather stunned to hear where the female dolphin became too attracted to the Hair Bears for some reason in the interaction pool which allows kneeling visitors to handle and touch dolphins before swimming with same, perchance.
"After all, Squiddly," Square Bear explained, "she approached us first in a rather provocative manner."
"Which, for a seaquarium," Peter Potamus remarked, "could be enough for rather toxic circumstances to ensue. Especially in performance situations."
"Not unlike such at SeaWorld in San Diego," I remarked, "at least twice with the killer whale show. And even then, killer whales are close biological cousins to dolphins."
"Still," Squiddly Diddly chimed in, "would it surprise you to learn where a killer whale like Jabberjaw could be knocked out cold by a dolphin's own snout?"
"Yet he gets no respect, the clyde, by his admission," Bubi from the Hair Bears chimed in.
"And you wonder, too," Hair Bear brought up, "how exactly the performance dolphins can swim almost synchronised like they do!"
Keeping his calm, Peter Potamus, taking stock of just how far even a trained dolphin could go in sexual provocation for a dolphin swim program, took note of his experiences among the natives of Polynesia Uncharted, whose closeness to Nature excusing overt nakedness translated into quite a trusting and yet natural relationship between dolphin and human such as manifests itself in their being especially close diving companions as can be trusted all the more. "But still," Peter remarked, "it's better to let the dolphin approach you beforehand in its own way while diving."
"Even if it were in the shallows," Hair Bear enquired, "as we were walking out heading into the dive?"
"How else?" was all Peter Potamus could respond with. "Doubtless one of the finest lessons I've learned from interactions among Polynesian natives as have yet to be compromised by our so-called 'Civilisation', yet all the while being happy as they are--naked and unafraid, as Nature intended even!"
"I have to admit that may have been my own tagline," I remarked, adding that since we're all rather close as Funtastics are close, I had no regrets in his using my catchphrase.
Squiddly Diddly, admittedly, had close to the last word in admitting that Theater of the Sea may be no Bubbleland, but limiting the opportunity to swim among dolphins to a group pf pools, and charging quite a bit for the experience, is probably a bit too much when it's probably better to wear mask, fins and snorkel and let the dolphins find you in open water.
"And the proverbial smile," Hair Bear quipped, which had us all laughing.
For his part, Peter Potamus felt it best to adjourn back to his cabin, even with the addition of Squiddly Diddly to the enterouge. "Hopefully," Peter remarked, "we may have learned something here--that it's probably better to be out in the water and have a dolphin become attracted to you!" Hopefully, more on that as things wear on.

#TakeFlightTuesday Ruth Nichols is an aviation pioneer who became the only woman to hold speed, altitude, and distance records as a female pilot.
Born in 1901 in New York City, Nichols developed a passion for flying from an early age. By 1919, her father gifted her a flight with Eddie Stinson, the founder of Stinson Aircraft Company. It was on that ride her passion for flying was truly born.
Nichols continued to take flying lessons while studying at Wellesley University. Shortly after, she received her pilot’s license in 1924 and eventually became the first licensed American woman hydroplane pilot.
By January 1928, Nichols set a record alongside co-pilot Harry Rodgers with their nonstop flight from New York to Miami, Florida. Nichols did not stop there and, throughout her career, set 35 aviation records.
In 1958, Nichols truly made history when she set new women’s world records for altitude and speed. She refused to be anything less than excellent and petitioned the Air Force to use a TF-102A Delta Dagger aircraft. With their permission as a co-pilot, she set an altitude record of 51,000 feet in the air and a speed record of 1,000 miles per hour.
Nichols also served as a founding member of the Ninety-Nines Organization and worked as a Women’s Air Derby racer. She passed away shortly after in 1960 but continues to inspire many young aspiring aviators.

Lately I’ve been looking at storms. Focal length 16-78mm in wide angle apparently. 10-105mm broadly. occasionally 50mm, but more of a toss-up in the final result. DSLR Nikon looks vivid for color.
There’s a photo of downtown Miami at night with 100 iso and 12mm focal length, lens 10-20mm. Canon has the colors of a glossy commercial neutrality, although it’s clear post can edit most anything to look like something else- the character of a company sometimes shines through.
Wide angle screen savors of bright blue waters and jagged arcs of black rock - aperture 8, focal length 12.
Stars at night in long exposure, professional post- aperture 3.2 shutter speed 15 focal length 14 lens 14-24.
A duck with golden bokeh at sunset imputed from the sparks of light only reflected in the waves- aperture 5.6, iso 1000, focal length 560mm- achieved with a 400mm lens plus a 1.4x teleconverter, which sounds like an interesting prospect to consider.
A perfect photo of the ceiling in a cathedral- aperture 2.4 and focal length 4.3mm. (Iso 800.)
A calendar worthy black and white shot of a old boat at 85mm, F4.
Lightning at 6.3 aperture and 22mm.
A spring in yellowstone at 20mm, aperture 11.
A fox like you’d see scrolling tumblr at aperture 6 and 450mm. I like the people who use photography like a journal, they say, “noticed loud shutter. investigated the bush that made odd noises. no luck later on, they went off.” 450 seems like a sweet spot of wildlife photography, unless you preferred beautiful duck bokeh.
Grand canyon in all it’s majesty in aperture 9 and focal length 35. (one 30mm, ap 10). 320 iso. Canon really does remind me of calendars, professional neutrality. I reckon most photographers in national parks keep their 3 stop neutral density filters on (ideal texture caught between .5 and 2 seconds of exposure) and a polarizer to top it off, so I may be noticing a common polarizing character. I hear 10 stop is great for pulling out clouds scudding across the sky.
Semipalmated plover, crisply mid scamper- aperture 8 and focal length 560, 100-400mm lens with a 1.4x multiplier, iso 320.

The high-octane street art of BNS takes the most iconic faces of our time out of their comfort zones and catapults them into a world where nothing is what they, or we, expect.
His company of bespoke-suited Storm troopers or a tatted-out Audrey Hepburn overturn the familiar tropes of popular culture, merging characters and ideas in a way that is creative, charismatic and completely original. Within this frenzied burst of colour, ingenuity and dry humour, BNS invites us to re-examine our perspective on beauty and fame in a contemporary world where media and communication connects us all far more closely than we realise.
Growing up in Buenos Aires, BNS was a part of the skateboarding and graffiti scene, before he left for New York City where he spent a decade creating the murals and street art which made his name. Although he now works in his studios in Barcelona or Brooklyn, his overall aesthetic is still inextricably linked to his background as a street artist, and he uses the same tools including his own mops to create the bubble letters and tags which appear throughout his work.
Combining aerosol paint, acrylics, silkscreen, inks, collage and photography in his compositions, BNS builds each one with around 20 layers, at least 10 of which are made with different silkscreens, and in some cases finishes them with multiple coats of resin to make the colours pop even more. Every element of each piece is handcrafted - even the silkscreens are hand-pulled and the wooden panels and frames are hand-mitred and sanded - and he mixes his own colours to create a personal distinctive palette, giving every piece its own unique character and story.
BNS describes his work as energetic and intricate, and is influenced by everything from old school hip hop to the natural world. He loves the vitality and animation of the big city, finding beauty in the chaos of bricks, cables and water tanks; he is interested in architecture and how the built environment coexists with nature, often juxtaposing flowers and plants with graffiti and crumbling facades. Every piece is full of personal details which become apparent the more closely you look, referring to particular buildings that have meant something in his life, the flowers that grew around them or a meaningful tattoo.
Already a huge star internationally, BNS has exhibited all over the world and his list of celebrity collectors includes Paris Hilton, Nicky Jam, Macaulay Culkin, Residente (calle13), Rob Zombie, Lisa Hochstein, Birdman and Derek Jeter; Pharrell Williams and Nas both commissioned a series of works from him, including murals for their Miami nightclubs. He has been featured in magazines including Forbes and Haute-living among others, and his first UK collection offers a fabulous opportunity to collectors in this country.

Captivating Iris Photography Captures the Unique Galaxies Within Each of Our Eyes
— By Elizabeth Beiser | June 17, 2024 | Photographs By Mitchell Zeer & Iris Photography
Tumblr media
We see the world through our eyes, but it turns out there's a whole world to see within our eyes. Photographers like Mitchell Zeer, founder of Iris Photo, are placing the spotlight on our mesmerizing orbs. Through macro photography, high-resolution images of our irises (the colored circle around our pupils) are transformed into otherworldly deserts and galaxies.
Irises are unique for each person, just like our fingerprints. On account of this, they are beginning to be used for identification and security purposes. However, its this distinctiveness that makes iris photography so intriguing. And unlike fingerprints, they are much more aesthetically engaging. In fact, each of our two irises are unique from each other as well. We typically distinguish between eyes by color: brown, blue, hazel, grey or green. Yet the base of all irises is blue. The amount and type of melanin added to it determines which color the irises appear. A lot of eumelanin equals dark brown eyes, whereas just a slight hint of pheomelanin adds a yellow tint, causing green eyes.
These macro photos enhance the eye to such a degree that the colors seem to separate so you can see the blue and the melanin layered above it as two different colors. Zeer's photographs also demonstrate that eyes of the same shade can look drastically different. The muscles and fibers of the iris create unique geographies that are then made more distinctive via the roughly 16 genes that determine melanin levels. Despite seeming like a complicated task, photographing the eye and printing art prints takes only 10 minutes at Iris Photo, a process that has been perfected since its inception.
Iris photography first became popular in Europe starting in 2012 when German photographer Felix Mayrl originated the process. Zeer, who had studied photography and psychology, opened his business in 2019. “We believe that every pair of eyes tells a story, a narrative of depth and individuality waiting to be captured,” Iris Photo states. “Our passion lies in the artistry of preserving these tales, transforming them into stunning pieces of high-gloss artwork.” Now, the Aussie company is opening franchises around the world with its first American outpost in Miami.

GTA San Andreas Apk Download
Awesome Robbery Auto: San Andreas Apps on Search engines Perform
Inside the early '90s simply appeared like a great obvious room for all of us to search. Then my help save end up being all smudged, couple of hour or so regarding the gameplay have got went away. The really dissatisfying of which there’s no chance for you to take back them after i reinstall the sport…
The game gotten essential acclaim for its characters, narrative, available earth conceive, with visible faithfulness, nevertheless united responses towards the vision design and style, specialized copies, along with picture connected with race. The item made controversy in the event the finding in the "Strong Chocolate" minigame uncovered a screened sexual place. Many video game publications awarded the overall game year-end accolades, in fact it is taken into account one of several 6th cohort connected with gaming console gaming's the majority of big entitlements as well as among the ideal video activities actually gotten. San Andreas turned out to be the best-selling online video media diversion associated with 2004 as well as the best-selling PlayStation 2 entertainment, with over 27.5 million contents offered. Its heir, Lavish Fraud Auto IV, was launched within May 2008. It's a tiny glitchy nonetheless it works up to scratch i will get throughout the tough.
Tumblr media
I find myself like this showing up mission particularly should be earned less concerning. Last thing I'd include can be an decision to keep photographies anyone need using the video camera in-game for you to your own call so that you can discuss insane pack in which people notice. The initial single lives about the theft quest, sometimes whenever you acquire near to anything CJ gets stuck about something after that a person can’t change which often wakes in the man or woman inside of and then you will get a 3 legend wanted level.
Expecting a complex, CJ tears to be able to Sweet's support inside a series against the Ballas. We adore L.A., with the entire gangbanging feel, as well as the road way of life. Can be so crucial plus we recognized quite a long time before which the operation needed to wind up presently there. We'd fixed the Distance Coastline with GTA3, after which '80s Miami with Vice Area, consequently going to L.A.
The nostalgia hits tough, and it’s awesome to help act over a extensive monitor phone. Bear in mind in which I’m playing with a Corona+ controller, GTA San Andreas apk download so if you plot at making use of contact manages your current judgment may range. Nonetheless, in terms of gamepad managements proceed, they stay fantastic.
Tumblr media
Latest statement GTA San Andreas Apk - get pleasure from make fresh features
Fine duty towards dev team for the contest, that seriously owns much more sympathy put into the item as opposed to original conclusive book. Past their release, Rewarding along with CJ repeat the GSF, take away the rival companies through their area and also rebuilding throughout Los Santos. Tenpenny ends up being arrested with aimed for a lot of prisons, even so the care end up being stopped on account of not enough experiences, effect a city-wide riot. The a couple do a fight; CJ collects, with just before pass away, Fumes confesses he / she move caught up using the right in addition to funds. Tenpenny gets there, carry CJ on gunpoint while he or she takes Smoke's drug money, with sources the surge in the size to escape. He urges off in the hearths pickup truck, then CJ in addition to Musical, however gradually loses run with the automobile, crashing above the area of an bridge forgetting about Grove Street.
Inside the outcome, CJ's kin with pals commemorate their good results in the Johnson property. In the midst of the celebrations, CJ gets away from to check on around the neighbourhood. Throughout 1992, when a few yr within Liberty City, gangster Carl "CJ" Johnson (Small Maylay) incomes to Los Santos track his or her mother's fall in a very drive-by capture. He's captured in corrupt C.R.A.S.H. policemen conducted by simply Free Tenpenny (Samuel L. Jackson), whom endanger to be able to implicate CJ within the wipe out of your fellow police officer unless he co-operates with them. CJ along with Cesar experience Smoking along with Ryder ending up in Tenpenny as well as the rival Ballas company, and also notice they revealed the GSF also live in charge of wiping out CJ's mother.
One more ends up being how the wrecking ball doesn't live it can be a floating steel basketball. Anytime I make an effort to locate a vehicle inside a garage this tells a person can easily retailer anymore automobiles within this storage though my personal garage ends up being completely empty of course, if I attempt to boost the vehicle within it will certainly eliminate the idea.
An additional problem We've suffered is any time I kick the bucket during a team combat it provides each area in my experience or the item clearly removes it that I’m fairly really just isn't supposed to take place. And you should place an alternative to disable tilt charges mainly because We've in order to hold our iPad correctly smooth because if I don’t the automobile may tear towards the various other course as well as annoying.
I long they counted gps much like the certain model and possibly a bill within the silence food selection with regard to entering gain a advantage. Ive showed that pertaining to properly spanning a few years it absolutely was simple for me personally to help chart the managements in a manner that I could compete in this feel monitor model. Let me say I was fixed about the objective when you have to help boogie while using the DJ. Idk the way the resulting approach doth the job upon of which but I merely smudged once on the party branch along with didnt have enough levels. Sounds a bit also concerning I'm able to only dream the assignment when you have to regulate the RADIO CONTROLLED plane 🤦🏽. It would be mainly because im still quite a bit less utilized to utilizing touch monitor as opposed to a controller although im positive identical may be state for a lot of.

We specialise in providing top quality attractions that are well presented and maintained, but above all safe for your guests. In today’s litigation hungry world can you really take the chance of anything less Complementary Attractions We are happy to provide you with the Miami ride on its own, or we can design and install a complete package of attractions for your event including; •Other Thrill Rides. •Dodgems •Carousel •Big Wheel •Twister •Waltzer •Children’s Rides. •Games Units. •Catering Units. •Photography. •Toilets. •Fencing. Popular rides to complement the Miami are the Dodgems, Twister and Waltzer, if you are planning an event contact us and we can tailor a package to meet your precise requirements.Originally designed in Holland, the ride started life around 1978 and saw a number of smaller manufacturers attempt different versions, most with limited success. The ride quickly took off in this country and saw an absolute explosion in the number of rides being operated over here. It has remained as one of the No.1 rides in this country ever since, and is still as popular at most events. NY / &&&2
Tumblr media
&&&2 January 6, 2024 – February 18, 2024  Opening Reception: Jan 6, Saturday 6-8PM  A talk with the artists will be scheduled in February
Tiger Strikes Asteroid New York is pleased to present &&&2, a bi-coastal exhibition that serves as both a survey and sequel to the collaborations of Ethan Greenbaum, David Kennedy Cutler and Sara Greenberger Rafferty.
Ten years ago, the artists initiated a series of meetings to talk about materials and techniques, based on their mutual interest in using photographic imagery to destabilize traditional art categories like painting, printmaking and sculpture.
The meetings resulted in an artist’s book titled &&&, in which the three artists imagined themselves as a fictional industrial supply firm. For Greenberger & Greenbaum & Cutler &, the fictional company had a veneer of prestige. For these capitalist outsiders, a corporate symbol of joint commercial enterprise was almost tantamount to success.
The book was released at Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair in 2013 in both a mass market paperback and a boxed, limited special edition print series based on swatch sample catalogs. The intention of the project was lost on nearly everyone, but a few key people became aware of the artists’ positioning themselves as a small movement.  This included the photography curator Dan Leers, who organized a show and catalog of their work, Beyond The Surface: Image as Object, at the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center in 2014.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of &&&, Sun You has invited Greenberger & Greenbaum & Cutler to mount an exhibition at TSA in Brooklyn, NY. There will also be a simultaneous version of the show at Ditch Projects in Springfield, OR.  The exhibitions at both artist-run spaces feature a backdrop that wraps the gallery with deconstructed pages from the original &&& book, over which the artists have installed works from 2013 and 2023.  The original book is also exhibited, as well as a new portfolio of prints (&&&2) to celebrate ten fruitful years of collaboration, hand wringing and friendship
