Coolcat! your story was soo good! Funny thing I was rereading the other two and I felt so lucky cause you posted this one, like I was super excited I get to read more <3

I’ve been rewatching s2 and thinking about the relationships between characters and how capsize’s revival effects that within your post timeline. Like Martha and Sonja are obviously at odds with one another in general, so them not agreeing on who gets to be revived and verbally being at each other’s throats makes sense. But once Spark gets into the mix, I’ve got this small inkling that he’s not going to be agreeing with Martha. Which! Seeing how Steve had to sacrifice himself to revive Dianite, Martha would be vehemently against the revival from that point going forward, because she doesn’t want to lose another person.

Issue with that is, Spark, just like Sonja and Jordan, is his own person and while I’m sure would head Martha’s warnings a lot more than Sonja, I do think his want to help would outweigh that. (At least that’s my take on his character)

And Mot also brings up Capsize as a way to dissuade Jordan from getting Mianite’s help with Ianite’s revival. He says “did you learn nothing from capsize? do you want a zombie for a god?” which hey I get where he’s coming from but that feels so fucking rude to say. But he’s then also a character who would take issue with the revival yea? because, through my rewatch, he’s shown to care for Sonja. Though that’s probably because she’s Alyssa’s alt, I do like to think he grows to care about her as her own person separate from his daughter.

(your story was good might’ve sent me on a bit of a spiral thinking about the issues and problems that revival plan definitely brought on to the group in s3. also Capsize was mentioned thrice by name in s2, I feel like I’m owed an appearance beetlejuice style.)

I'm really glad you've been enjoying the post timeline stuff so far! Honestly I get super nervous about posting it, so I'm always really happy to see people enjoy it!

Figuring out the character conflicts had been one of my favourite things to try and plan for the post timeline thus far since, yeah, Sonja has decided to do something that at least some people are very against and everyone just having to sit with that. Which is mostly difficult to figure out because with both seasons of Mianite having a finale that feature a character coming back to life, one unsuccessfully, one successfully, there kind of needs to be strong opinions there.

I definitely agree that Martha kind of made the most sense to be against the revival, linking in a general annoyance with Sonja's much more relaxed sense of magical safety. And yeah, Steve's death is only going to make her more against Sonja reviving Capsize.

Spark is definitely not going to agree with Martha, though he's going to be a lot more careful than Sonja, he is also going help with the revival. He'll be calmer with his explanations, since he's both less personality invested and also doesn't particularly want to be an in argument with his daughter. But he's also actively being haunted by a piece of Capsize's soul, so he at the very least would like that to stop.

I completely forgot that Mot also references Capsize to try and persuade Jordan to not revive Ianite. And that is both rude phrasing and also Mot you are also trying to revive your god!! But yeah, he's probably going to take issue, I imagine mostly the sake of Sonja's health. I'm not sure how great the message will get through considering he spent a decade trying to and successfully reviving someone, but he'll try at least.

The brain rot on everyone's thoughts on the revival process is so real for me because I imagine there's so much conflict stemming from it. Firstly just from people disagreeing on if it's a good idea in the first place, if it's worth the side effects Sonja is inflicting on herself. Then from the fact that Capsize is revived prior to Jordan and Tom arriving back, so there's discussion on if they shouldn't use their very limited magical resources to try and find them. And then I think learning that Capsize's soul is in pieces and all the mess that'll come with that.

I kind of wonder if part of the original plan of Season 2 was to have Ianite come back wrong because it almost feels weird that there's a bunch of talk of "don't trust Mianite, remember Capsize" for Mianite to basically shrug and go "didn't do it lol". But I'm really not here to analyse the writing in Season 2 (other people do that far better).

hello poke popcornsalty my beloved friend, SO!! first of all, mianite, both seasons if i remember correctly were minecraft 1.7, the only difference is s2 was modded (heavily modded, it was insane)

so the main timeline, it takes 100 days, cause thats well. 100 days multiverse. thats the thing. so the first day, honestly, its probably just wandering around staring at everything, followed by a few days of picking a place to live, and stealing shit from the abandoned houses nearby, and setting up a sustainable food source. i image he takes up residence in jerrys tree, because its huge, kickass, and empty, its also a giant tree so there's limited structural damage compared to a lot of the other structures.

after a while of getting together some resources, its a matter of figuring out stuff while just... surviving. get better tools, look for hints of what happened here, set up a farm, wonder if he'll get whisked away on day 100 again.

the world itself, i mean, its obvious that its Old, its a 1.7 world, however i think legundo dropping in brings new live to the world, updating it to 1.19, bringing with it a Lot of new things, new blocks, new biomes, new animals, you name it. so he explores, and he fixes up the various structures just to have something to do, the dragons already been killed in this world, but hes done that before anyways, killing the warden, well, i mean he escaped the last world 2 days early, but its hard to tell if thats done anything yet, so boss battles seem optional, so its mostly just... exploration and waiting. theres no mods to make it more interesting, theres no strange twist, at least not yet, so he just... chills. takes a bit of a break. theres a mystery here in all the dust, and he'll look into it and see what happened.

i do also imagine, that the s1 gods (at least the two that are alive) are keeping an eye on him, but the s1 gods are also very hands off at the best of times, so i doubt they do anything, at least until the other streamers and co literally fall out of the sky back into the world. the timeline itself is kinda fuzzy, but thats just kinda how minecraft is the others, so, at the end of mianite s1 the 4 streamers jump into the void in order to go home, its a leap of faith. i cant tell you if that faith paid off because they didnt go home, they ended up in season 2, a completely different universe with different versions of the gods, and like 500 mods

at the end of s2, that universe is literally falling apart, and they jump into a portal in order to escape, and then s3 never happened so we dont actually know where they went. most people assume they probably went back to s1 for the lore reasons, but logically if s3 had happened they probably would have ended up in a new, maybe not as modded but updated to the newest version of minecraft world, where ianite is the beeg (bc in s1 it was dianite and in s2 is was mianite but also world historian- complicated) for this, i chose go back to s1, because it works well and doesnt require as much world building on my part, since im already combining 2 things most people havent heard of

infodump about forbidden piss jordan’s universe cause theres lore now

From the multiverse map, this realm in the same timeline bubble as Empires S2, and is called Aithaca. From the beginning, the three gods were always kind of in conflict, like Ianite could do her thing to try and keep balance, but it was never enough

So she turns to a darker magic that allows her to rid the realm of things that make it unbalanced , a power somewhat too powerful that ends up rendering Mianite and Dianite's powers somewhat obsolete. Mianite has not enough order, Dianite not enough chaos to try and fight back cause if anything becomes unbalanced, Ianite sends her followers to get rid of it.

As a result, Ianite becomes somewhat of a sole goddess as Dianite is imprisoned in the far reaches of the Nether, and Mianite is forced into hiding and becomes a hermit in a deep forest

Ianite’s control is through the mind of Admiral Flash Sparksize, the leader of Ianite’s army- a group of sky pirates dedicated to ensuring a balance of the world, even through violent means

- Unlike most gods and their champions, Ianite speaks to Flash through his head. As a result she can take occasionally take control of him, and read his thoughts

- He’s an incredibly skilled swordsman and melee fighter. As a child of the Eden Dimension, (a pocket dimension btwn the Overworld and Aether) he derives power from the sun/light, and is weaker at night

- Dianite’s champion (who has to brin Dianite back into existence the same way Jordan does with Ianite in S1) is a wither skeleton hybrid named Cassell (Cass for short). He’s friends with Mianite’s two champions Merina and Garrick (names im still not sure of) who came to know of their gods existence when he lead them to him
