Uuuuh I need assistance… with a song 🥺

I’m thinking of a scene that I need to write in the future (won’t say which fic I’m talking about yet) and I need a song about loving someone or falling in love. Basically one character is singing really quietly cause they don’t want to wake the other, but the other person is just pretending to be asleep while listening to them singing.

I was thinking about Lay all your love on me byABBA but it’s not as romantic as I would like.

Also no one can sing ABBA quietly…

writing fluff is so hard esp for a character you haven’t written for before + other characters in the fic 😭

#satoru i’m abt to get real acquainted w you in this fic #so far it just all sounds v corny and not at all like how satoru sounds so i need to rework everything #also it’s so hard to segue into another part of the fic or just another paragraph for me so i need to practice FLOW #and NOT make it choppy/clunky #and i also have to find voices for tsumiki & megumi 😭 miki’s is pretty easy she’s sweet & playfully teasing #wanna make megs adorable yet slightly grumpy bc i know he’s mature but i still want a childish vibe for him hmmmm #i’m actually… SURPRISNGLY. having a LOT of trouble w the ‘reader’ themselves #i just can’t seem to find their dynamic w each character yet… hmmmmmm #y’know what i may have to do… keep the beginning part but scrap everything else and start fresh #sighhhhhhhh.#i’m willing to do that though bc this story so far isn’t hitting the way i want it to #and i love the Premise of the fic a lot and want to do it TOTAL justice #like it’s serious business to me 😭 i don’t play around when it comes to this omfg like i HAVE FUN but i want it to be decently written too #gonna need to insert more personality to each character + their DIALOGUE TOO omg dialogue is so fucking hard & speech tags are so blegh #i actually might dream on it tonight and imagine how it would realistically play out in my head and then go back to fic writing #yeah i’ll do that it’s 9:30 pm rn basically so i’ll just dream on it 😭#personal

#As you can see i was mainly working ln fixing the distortion on the poles i did get a bittt carried away and add like a ton of oand but its #ok. also i did the math and its sitting at abt 40:60 land water ratio #rly its 41:59 but 40 60 is far easier #ive also still got to add rivers.. i have a few lakes as you can see but i haven't gone through and added rivers yet #ill probably have to do mountains first then rivers....#ive also been thinking abt making a sideblog solely for worldbuilding posts but im shy LOL so itd probably judt be 4 me #i wouldnt be opposed to sharing it with anybody whos interested i just dont think anybody rly is...#im also working more on the language its kiiiind of rly frustrating me..#i also have gaught to add a new island in the middle of the ocean bc ive been thinking while at work. but idk if i Actually want to use #those thoughts 4 this or keep them seperate.. whatevrr #but yeah. as mentioned the edits arent perfect yrt theyre kind of difficult to do 😭😭 map to globe doesnt allow you to draw directly On #the globe and the umm. sketch thing they have is kind of rlly annoying #like you can colorpick Once. but after that you have to reload the page to colorpick again #+ the likee. drawing you do on it is super artifacted and weird... + theres no way to just get the finished image idt. i may be wrong #but yes. anyways if i do make the sodeblog i wanna name it after the world but the issue is the world doesnt have a name 💀#and to make the name i need to work on the primary conlang some more 😭😭😭 but its frustrating me i think its bc i started with the #written form which like. every guide im looking at says you shouldnt do that 💀#so i might just scrap it and start from the ground up
