I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog and the works that you post. You just have a style of writing that I like very much and makes me want to read more, even if it's about a driver or scenario that I typically wouldn't gravitate towards.

I was also hoping you might be able to help me with something. I noticed that a while back you posted some works about MotoGP and I want to broaden my motorsport interest/knowledge outside of F1 and its associated series. I watched the race last weekend and have to admit I was quite lost for the most part about how everything works and who is who besides a few names I recognized 😅

So I was wondering if maybe could recommend some blogs on here, creators on other platforms, YouTube videos or something like that that could help someone as lost as me understand motoGP a bit more.

hi anon! first off, thanks for your kind words <3 i love whenever i have the chance to talk about motogp to anyone so of course I’ll help you out!

i started watching motogp in early 2019 because my cousin was watching a race and i thought it was interesting. i understand your confusing because trust me, i was confused as hell when i watched my first motogp race.

the official motogp youtube channel actually posted some helpful videos, in my opinion, about learning the basics to motogp.

TURISIAN.com -  Peristiwa langka terjadi di Pantai Kuta Mandalika, Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) ketika enam bintang MotoGP Mandalika 2023 bersatu dalam aksi bersih-bersih, Kamis 12 Oktober 2023. Keenam pembalap tersebut adalah Maverick Vinales, Miguel Oliveira, Taakaki Nakagami, González Simón, Alonso López González, dan Ayumu Sasaki. Mereka, secara bersama-sama meramaikan pantai dengan penuh semangat membersihkan sampah yang bertebaran. Sebelum mereka beraksi membersihkan pantai, para pebalap yang akan menggebrak Sirkuit Mandalika ini mengikuti atraksi Tari Gandrung khas Lombok. BACA JUGA: Besok, Parade Pembalap MotoGP Mandalika 2023 Digelar Kehebohan terjadi ketika keenam pebalap elit itu, diiringi oleh sepuluh penari perempuan Lombok Tengah, menari dengan penuh kesungguhan. "Ini pertama kalinya kami melihat para pebalap menari di Lombok. Biasanya, kegembiraan tari adalah milik warga Lombok," ungkap Sulastri Damayanti, salah seorang warga setempat, dengan rasa kagum. Sementara itu Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Lombok Tengah, Lendek Jayadi, mengungkapkan bahwa pertunjukan Tari Gandrung tersebut disajikan secara khusus. Utamanya, untuk menghibur para pebalap dan para wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Kuta Mandalika. BACA JUGA: Ketum PHRI Hariyadi Sukamdani Ungkap Tantangan Pelaksanaan MotoGP Mandalika Penanaman Terumbu Karang Acara pun tak berhenti pada pertunjukan tari, melainkan dilanjutkan dengan aksi bersih-bersih pantai dan penanaman terumbu karang. Jayadi menjelaskan bahwa Pantai Kuta Mandalika bukan sekadar tujuan wisata biasa. Pantai ini juga merupakan bagian dari Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika. Dimana, juga dijadikan sebagai ruang edukasi tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan laut. Ia berharap bahwa aksi bersih-bersih pantai yang melibatkan para pebalap MotoGP akan memberikan inspirasi kepada masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. MotoGP Mandalika 2023 sendiri akan digelar pada tanggal 13-15 Oktober 2023. Dan hingga tiga hari sebelum balapan, sudah terjual sebanyak 61.500 tiket dari total 69.900 tiket yang tersedia. "Sudah terjual 88 persen tiket," ujar Komandan Lapangan MotoGP Mandalika 2023, Jamaluddin Malady.
