in s2-s3 there is something to be anti of bc yeah you are right mike and max interact when they just argue lol. but in s4 there is literally nothing to be anti of bc they don't even interact. like i really don't remember if they ever legit talked bc they just would be in the same place standing together with dustin or smth but they just don't talk. so yeah just talking abt s4 i don't think there is something to be anti of bc max doesn't interact with mike she just interacts with lucas dustin and then ofc the other hawkins gang. also the whole mlvns getting angry at ppl for suggesting max and will might be friends is funny bc they are the ones who came up with the whole 'core four' bullshit just to exclude will from the group but cour four also means excluding max too. i beg mlvns to make sense for once

Here I am to talk about milelumax.

I like to throw ship ideas around with AUs and here's one: Elumax are dating- they're in college- and Mike meets them all individually and develops a crush on each of them without realizing they're all dating.

He and Lucas share a class together- some science one- and they're lab partners and Lucas is really funny and kinda 'jocky' so Mike isn't excited when they get paired together as lab partners...only to find out that Lucas is actually kind of brilliant and they challenge each other academically. A crush quickly insues.

He meets El in the library! They end up studying at the same time pretty regularly and eventually they start share smiles and then that leads to small talks which leads to them quizzing each other on their classes. Mike is like "yes pretty girl please quiz me for my exam" but one time when El is quizzing him for the same science class he's taking with Lucas she casually mentions her bf takes that class. Mike is v disappointed but never figures out that the bf is Lucas.

Finally Max. He ends up working with her at a roller rink. She trained him. They bicker all the time. But Mike,,,he likes someone to can challenge him. And Max just likes to taunt him and get him riled up. They end up making out in the break room one night and Mike is like?? Okay what now?? What are we??

Okay but here's the thing, Elumax have all figured that their 'cute guy' is the same one so Max making out with him was totally planned. After that shift she takes him back to their apartment and Mike is,,,shocked to see El and Lucas waiting on him

elumax definitely talk about him in their gc all the time. then one day max is just like. guess who's coming over lmaooo. and they all dote on him (max is less obvious about it but she's so in on it) and playfully try to out-woo him, meanwhile mike "anyone ever has noticed me? sounds fake" wheeler is just so overwhelmed and flustered and caught off guard

Idk if watch the Miles Morales Spiderman movies but I had a thought and had to share it.

So Milelumax as different spidermans from different universes that find each other and make the most badass team. Yes this comes from me just wanting four variations of spidermans for each of them- but I also I just know in my bones that they would make such a great team with Lucas's and Mike's smarts, Max's wit, and El's courage.

Also Mike and Max bickering over which of their faults it was when a plan doesn't go right and Lucas and El debating if they should intervene or grab popcorn. It was Lucas's fault the plan messed up but he aint saying shit.

ahh yes i'm seeing the new one saturday night, i'm so excited!!

and this is SO cute omgggg. just picture like. mike and lucas swinging around together but getting tangled in each other's webs and getting tied together and they're both blushing so hard lol

and max trying to impress el acting all cool and casual, but then el's like "ooh cool!!" and shows max her powers and that's when they all learn that el is like. exponentially powerful lmao and they're all staring at her with heart eyes and she's just like...what? lol

also i love that lmao mike and max are so caught up in their bickering and are so in love w lucas and el that lucas and el are always getting off scot-free even at the times when they fumble the bag a little lmao

but then of course one time mike gets really hurt and max (our beloved zoomer and one with medical knowledge) gets to him first and is cradling him in her arms and helping take care of his wounds and cooing over him telling him it's gonna be okay <3 her cover is blown and so is mike's bc he can't help but cling to her bc it was really scary and she makes him feel so safe!!

lucas is always scouting out the best views in the city and taking the others up there. he and max have many dates in these places. mike and el are more hesitant/get scared sometimes, but lucas and max both help them up and hold them each longer than is strictly necessary until they feel more secure/safe

and ofc mike always keeping such a vigilant eye out for everyone, trying to make sure as best he can that they don't overextend themselves, and then they turn it back on him when he stays so late in the lab making new things to keep them all safe and make him rest, lucas telling him stories while el runs her fingers through his hair and max makes him hot chocolate

lucas and mike design the coolest gadgets together

mike "sauna test dummy" wheeler and max "goading the cops to keep the away from the lake" mayfield are always the distraction end of the team while lucas and el do most of the heavy hitting, though they're both also really capable of helping in their own ways. max can definitely deliver and take a hit. and mike does his best lol but he's also a really good look out and strategist

also just. scene where max takes her mask off and lets her hair out (long? short? both work) and el, lucas, and mike just make absolute heart eyes at her bc she's just so cool lol <3

and of course, they always have web swinging races. mike always loses. el wins on strength based ones, lucas gets an advantage from knowing the terrain the best, and max is the fastest. so mike will often just sit it out and like, make dinner or feed some cats while they're gone lmaoooo. it's okay he makes cool inventions and they all think he's very cute <333

THAT IS A TIE between El and Lucas!

El is more of the hopeless romantic in the group. Watching all those soaps and classic romance movies in the cabin really built her to want the type of stuff we see on tv. She is all about big gestures and confessions. Lucas though is more lowkey about it. He’s all about the little things, getting a book Mike off handedly mentioned thinking was cool, writing a good luck on a post it note to El before a big test, making Max her favorite meal when she’s sick

Oh my god okay I think Lucas is the cook. I just think he would be an absolute bomb chef. El cooks the breakfasts though for sure. Mike cleans up the dishes, following the “you cook, I clean” line of thinking he grew up with from his mom (not that Ted did the cleaning, but Mike and Nancy helped clean up. And he finds it kind of relaxing tbh) Max would have temporary bans from the kitchen because she would always be a lil devil on Lucas’s and El’s shoulders to experiment a bit to the extreme. Though sometimes her ideas really do pop off
