❖ — When you told Miles you were going to start tutoring people in your favorite subject, he thought it was a good way for you to make new friends since you were introverted. He also thought it was a good way to show off your academic skills and how smart you were.

❖ — Miles knew your tutoring schedule by heart, so he would swing by the school’s café that you tutored at to check on you between each session.

❖ — One day when he came by, he saw you tutoring a guy who was sitting a little too close in his eyes. As he watched you both interact, he realized that there were no laptops on the table, no textbooks open, or anything school-related, which made him suspicious of what you were talking about.

“Hey, mamì.” He came over and kissed your cheek before towering behind you as he looked the guy up and down, trying to read him. He wanted to assert himself to let whoever this guy (who’s name he later found out was Marcus) know that you were already taken.

❖ — After that day, Miles began to pop up more frequently than he usually did, but it didn’t alarm you because you assumed he just wanted to see you.

❖ — Whenever he did come, you could see a small scowl curled on his lips when he looked at Marcus, which confused you, but you brushed it off because you knew Miles wasn’t that friendly with others.

❖ — As you lay across Miles bed texting away, he couldn’t help but hear your continuous laughter which made him curious to what or who had you laughing that way.

“Who are you texting?” He plopped down next to you to have a proper look at the open text thread on your phone. As he looked through the texts, nothing alarmed him until he saw the contact name ‘Marcus💙’.

Seeing his name decorated pissed him off because he knew you only added emojis to those names you felt were significant to you.

❖ — When you and Miles were walking around campus together, he saw Marcus sitting in the courtyard. Miles grabbed your hand and began pulling you in another direction so both of you wouldn’t notice each other, but it was too late because Marcus already spotted you.

“Hey, y/n!” Marcus came up to you and opened his arms for a hug which you gladly accepted. “Hey, Marcus! How did your test go?”

Miles watched both of you hug. The way Marcus’s arms were wrapped around you and the stupid smile on his face made him want to lose his shit, but he didn’t want to make a scene, so he politely (it wasn’t polite at all, the way he grabbed you by your wrist and said a slick comment to Marcus) pulled you away from him and brought you to a place that was secluded.

❖ — When you felt yourself being taken away it made you upset because Miles did it in such a rude manner (even though he didn’t see it as rude).

“Miles! What are are doing?!”

“Why the fuck are you and ole’ boy so close? It seems like he wants you or something.”

❖ — When you heard Miles say that you couldn’t help but laugh in his face.

“Miles, please, don’t tell me you're jealous of him.”

❖ — Miles didn't find anything funny about some guy wanting what's his so he didn't know why you were laughing.

❖ — “Marcus is my cousin. I haven’t seen him in forever since he moved away when I was little, which is why you don’t know him.”

❖ — After Miles heard your explanation he felt stupid for even being jealous in the first place.

“Oh, Cousin, huh?” he said with a awkward smile, rubbing the back of his head, feeling embarrassed now that he knows the full story.

❖ — After you and Miles talked it out, he decided (more like you forced him) to go apologize to Marcus for his actions.

❖ — “From now on, will you not just jump to conclusions without directly asking me?”

“Yes, mamì, I promise.”

So I found out that some spiders “purr”(and by purr I mean their legs vibrate and that when they hit like dried up leaves and stuff it makes a purr like noise but for the sake of this let’s say it’s like a cat’s purr.) and I know people are thinking “OH MY GOODNESS IMAGINE ONE OF THE SPIDER-BAND KIDS PURRING WHEN THEY’RE CONTENT/HAPPY!!” But spiders usually “purr” when trying to attract a mate and just imagine it with me.

Hobie is hanging out with Gwen and Miles playing some game (I want to say Monopoly just because I can imagine Hobie saying “fuck the rules of this capitalist game” and refuses to pay people when he lands in their spot but let’s be honest they’re playing Mario Cart) and Pav shows up sitting down next to Hobie and after like 15 minutes a soft purr floats through the room and everyone turns and looks at Hobie cause the sound is coming from him. Cue all the spider kids (including Hobie himself) thinking that he’s purring cause he’s happy. For like 2 months they just gush at it and never make the connection that he only really purrs when Pav is around until someone, that someone being Lyla, points it out and then drops “Also spiders don’t purr when happy, they purr when they’re trying to attract a mate” and everyone just goes silent. Pav is slowly turning red and Hobie is wondering how he can choke an AI.

Miles teases Hobie and Pav about it when they get together and it’s all fun and games until Miles starts purring around Gwen.

MILES LOVES drawing you. you’re perfect in his eyes and he could draw only you for all of eternity and he wouldn’t complain at all. everything about you was beautiful to him and he made sure he captured every beautiful detail you have on to his drawings.

MILES is the type to send you cute (your favorite animal) videos on tiktok because he knows how much you love em and all he wants to do is to make you happy.

WILL introduce you to his family and is happy when he finds out how easily you and his parents got along. you got along with his mom so well that sometimes you’d visit their house and mostly talk ‘chisme’ with her the entire time (he gets jealous-)

AFTER an argument, he stops by your window and drops you off flowers with a little cute note apologizing. he doesn’t know if you would want to see him at that moment so he gives you time to cool off and give you some space. he replies immediately if you were to call or text him ready to talk again due to how much he hates wasting time not talking to you.

HE likes showing you off to anyone. his friends? yes. his family? yes. strangers on the street? yes. he can’t help it if he’s madly in love.

WHEN he revealed to you that he was spider-man, he was scared that you were going to be mad at him for keeping this a secret from him for a very long time. he thought that you were going to think that he didn’t “trust” you but when you were actually ecstatic finding out instead of upset, his worries all vanished as he smiled and hugged you.

WILL have a whole playlist dedicated to you. he likes to listen to that playlist when you aren’t with him, yk so he could daydream.

IS completely oblivious when you’re jealous. if you catch him talking to another girl who is clearly into him, you’d be upset in which miles would ask you about but you would just mumble “it’s nothing”. hearing this, miles thinks back to the entire morning wondering if he did something to make you upset. when you finally tell him, he quickly reassures you and says “i don’t feel anything towards any other girl who isn’t you. i love you and only you ma.”

IF it’s late at night and you can’t fall asleep, miles would come over with his spider-man suit on and picks you up, and swings to different buildings. then, you guys would land on a rooftop with a clear and beautiful view of the city at night and by the edge you guys would sit down, while miles pulls you in close to him, head on his shoulder, admiring the sight of the skyline. “it’s so pretty” you say. “not as pretty as you cariño”

MILES used to think that pet names were lowk cringey, but when he started dating you, everything changed. now, he calls you “mi amor” “baby” “my love” “cariño” “preciosa” “babe”

HE can not flirt if he wanted to flirt on purpose. he gets awkward and shy like 🫣🫣 this one time before you guys started dating, he wanted to make a move on you by saying “hey y/n, a-are you fr-from tennessee? cause you’re the 1 f-for me- wait no that’s not right, wait what was it again? i u-uh never mind.” and he scurried off before you could even say anything. “the fuck-“

WHEN you guys go on the train, he would pull out his airpods and give you one of them while you guys listen to one of his playlists (ahem the playlist he made for you but shh you don’t know that.)

IF you don’t do graffiti art, miles will take you to one of his secret locations and teach you how to draw certain things and praises you for trying your best. once you get better at it, you guys start going to his secret location more often and you guys just spend hours spray painting.

LOVES LOVES LOVES cuddling with you. literally one of his favorite things to do with you. he loves just having you in his arms knowing you are safe and sound with him. your soft and warm skin making him wanting to fall asleep because of how comforting it feels to just have you there with him. what he loves the most is having your arms around him holding him close while his head lays on your chest, listening in to your heartbeat knowing you really are there with him and that you are his and he is yours.

TAKES random and silly pictures of you just to send them later to you after you guys hung out and texts you saying “this one is my favorite.”

HAS a picture of you on his lock screen and his home screen.

okay, so I have a punkflower fic idea. been thinking about this one for a while.

okay so miles is puerto rican (mi gente latina!) and he is not a "no sabo" kid okay. a b in spanish doesn't mean he doesn't know spanish especially since the spanish they teach in schools in spain spanish and miles speaks puertorican spanish. its just different!

HE KNOWS SPANISH!

hobie knows miles knows spanish, he knows his boyfriend is puertorican, he's met his mom, but the first time hobie heard miles realllly speak spanish, he was so flustered. he thought it just soooo attractive. miles finished the convo in spanish and turned to hobie and hobie just pulled him in for a deep kiss. once they broke apart miles could tell his boyfriend was flustered and figured out why. (he smart). so he made it a point to use spanish more around hobie, calling him "novio" "amor" "mis ojos" a bunch of nicknames (translation: boyfriend, love, my eyes)

now hobie knows this isn't a competition, but he needs to make miles feel as flustered as he is. and hobie knows miles thinks his accent is cool and attractive. so he makes it a point to tease his bf by calling him pet names in his thick accent, "love, sweetheart, brookyln baby, babes) he knows miles becomes a little more touchy whenever he uses pet names and he loves it.

Miles was sleeping in the bed next to you when the sound of small whimpers filled the room, which caused him to stir in his sleep. With sleep still prevalent in his body, it didn’t click in his mind that it was you making those noises until he felt you shifting in bed and mumbling incoherent words.

Miles rose from his side of the bed and turned to you. “y/n! y/n, baby, wake up!” Miles gently shook you, enough to wake you up, but not too harsh to startle you.

When you woke up and your eyes fluttered open, Miles could see the fright filled within them, he knew whatever you were dreaming about must have shaken you up. Miles immediately pulled you into his embrace and began to soothe you. “Shhh, it’s okay, princesa. I’m here.” He stroked your face gently and rubbed your back, hoping that this will help lessen your cries.

After a few minutes, you transitioned into a calmer state. “Do you wanna try and go back to sleep or do you wanna stay up for a little bit?” Miles wanted to help you in every way he could, so if that meant staying up a few extra hours or holding you tight in his arms until you drifted off to sleep, he would do it in an instant.

“Stay up.” You didn’t want to go back to sleep after the horrifying dream you just had, so you thought staying up would be able to take some edge off.

“Okay, c’mon.” Miles intertwined his hand with yours and led you in the living room. “You sit right here. I'm gonna go grab some snacks,” he said then walked into the pantry, grabbing a handful of your favorite snacks before plopping back down on the couch next to you.

While you enjoyed the snacks Miles provided, he began to surf through Netflix to find a movie for you both to watch. When he finally picked one, you curled up against him and placed your head on his chest to get into a comfortable position for the duration of the movie.

Thirty minutes into it, Miles seemed to be enjoying it. The humorous scenes made him laugh, the action scenes put him on the edge of his seat, and the drama-filled scenes enticed him. As he got deeper into the movie, he realized that he hasn’t heard your voice in a while.

“Princesa?” Miles leaned up gently, getting a look at your face and saw that your eyes were closed. Soon after, small snores glided through your lips which made him smile knowing that you were now able to sleep peacefully without any fear.

“Te amo,” he whispered, planting a soft kiss on your forehead, hoping that you’ll be able to have a full night's sleep without a nightmare. However, if you wouldn’t, he will be right there next to you, willing to do anything to make you feel better.
