“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” - Buddha . It was true then, it is true now. Bowing down to the wisdom of #buddha and his #philosophy that is every bit pragmatic and resonating today, as it was 3000 years ago. . Thank you so very much for inspiring my #mindfulnessmay 🙏🏼 . Here’s wrapping up with this final Mindfulness May prompt. Although, I continue my journey for the #100daydrawingchallenge, and seek Buddha’s blessing for keeping on going 🙏🏼🌸 . . . . . #positiveenergy #hitoshma #mandalart2020 #zentangle #bekindtoyourself #digitaldoodles #womenwhodesign #artegistfire🔥 #womenindesign #zentangleart #mandalalove #artmotivation #artinspiresart✨ #mandalamaze #chakrashealing #mandalamagic #drawingchallenge2020 #mandalatherapy #quarantineart #indianartist #womeninillustration #artavocado🥑 #powerofsymmetry #tibetanphilosophy #dalailama #buddhistwisdom @zenart.features @delightgraphics @artsyxtreme @artistsmakingart @gallerist @academic_art @flow_magazine @weloveillustration @dailyart @dailyartplus (at Bodh Gaya) https://www.instagram.com/p/CA5mc79JynM/?igshid=1lmvwgsw87qik

mindfulness may #27: love
seems like I still can’t fully comprehend the concept of love, especially the romantic kind. the way I see it, love is connection.
I think I did a good job here and this picture accurately shows my understanding of this feeling.

Mindfulness May Art Challenge Day 9: Vintage Object (I’ve behind on this project because I’ve been sick but I’m back at it and posting from the backlog.) 🍵I found this antique teacup in Mum’s cabinet of shiny things. It kinda struck me how this kind of decorative object really doesn’t have a place in modern homes.🍵

#2 Plant life: First drawing of my HoK, wuhu! Collecting flowers
Yesterday I fought my tablet driver for 5 hours and when everything finally worked my spirit was gone V.v So I skipped yesterday and did both today.

when I saw this prompt, I immediately thought about my cat. she’s very soft and likes to snuggle a lot.

mindfulness may #25: activity
for me the only acceptable kind of activity is the artistic one. I have to admit, drawing my tablet while using it was kinda funky.

mindfulness may #29: informative
I wasn’t so sure what to do about this prompt, but then I remembered a bunch of books about techy bullshittery I borrowed from my cousin some time ago. that stuff is pretty informative indeed.

mindfulness may #21: stillness
everything is moving, changing. but if you take a picture, it stays like this forever. it stares silently, reminding you that you can never go back, that everything is different now. it doesn’t have to be a bad thing, though.

mindfulness may #15: pattern
I like ornate patterns very much; this one comes from the wall in my room. it has an interesting texture and overall it’s nice to look at. of course I had to add some random splashes/stains, now that I figured out how to do it digitally. it’s still something that could be improved, but I feel like I’m getting somewhere.

mindulness may #24: harmonious
I’m a walking contradiction. and frankly, I never quite understood how does it even work. it took me some time to realize that even though two things sometimes are very different from each other, they can still create a balanced, harmonious whole. that’s a reassuring thought, don’t you think?
