     The vendors of Cotes Fantasci’s market town were ever busy with people— today even more so, it felt like. Looked like there must have been some small gathering of food carts for the day, which had brought even more attention to the normally abundant street, making it a bit difficult to navigate through. For Mao, however, wading through the crowds wasn’t terribly difficult in the slightest. As always, even in her wanderings, she stepped forth with purpose— wading through waves of people as she kept her gaze focused on the nearby vendors...

Until someone happened to catch her eye.

It was a girl wearing a particularly large hat— something that reminded her a tad of the headdress her sister wore from time to time. It wasn’t her hat that had caught Mao’s eye, however. She seemed to be struggling against the current of people, at first glance... no, not just that. The girl looked strained, and not simply out of frustration.

Mao wasn’t quite sure why she decided to do so (besides the sense of obligation she felt for seemingly being the only one to see this struggling girl), but she’d approach the other. And it was just in time too, for as Seles was about to fall over, Mao moved to catch her.

“Easy,” the woman would exclaim— voice low, yet clear amongst the bustling chatter all around them. “Easy. I’ve got you. Breathe.”

“Can you walk? ... Let’s get out of this crowd.”

A poor choice. (closed, Seles)

It was a suspiciously cool afternoon at the Theatre of Calliope. It was also very quiet, a small band was playing on the stage but not for any performance. It was their practice, but didn’t mind anyone coming about to see what they were like.

The Nightmare Knight had taken to the rather empty ampitheatre for such a reason. However, he had also chosen to sit in the front row. At his regular size, of around forty-five feet tall. This wasn’t very considerate of him.

He did not notice or care. He was busy listening. Someone should really do something about that.

The resemblance was immediate. Without a doubt in his mind, Kratos knew who this was.

It was either that, or she really was walking around late at this hour and wanted to wander aimlessly...? Part of him was hoping it was the latter--he hardly knew this area any better. This shopping district got too busy for him.

He didn’t really feel like taking on babysitting duty this evening either, but if something happened to this one...

“Oh, Miss Wilder, hello.” Regal smiles at her-- they’d met only briefly each time they’d run into each other, and he’s a bit worried that he might have come off as intimidating... but this time, that aura is offset by the pink-haired girl smiling at his side.

‘Is this a friend of yours, Regal?’ Alicia asks.

“This is Seles Wilder, someone I know from home,” Regal nods. “She’s Zelos’s younger sister.”

‘Oh!’ Alicia beams at her. ‘It’s very nice to meet you. I‘m Alicia Combatir. We met your brother earlier, he seems like a very kind person!’’

Bzzt!!

Roll hadn’t really been used to people trying to reach her, it was usually the other way around: making sure her friends were taken care of, eating properly, and whatever else kept them at peak performance.  But, her hands were a bit tied in the kitchen.  She’d have to get to it later.

“I’m sure it can wait.  It’s kind of late an-”  But, then she was cut off again by her phone vibrating again.  “Huh?”  That must be urgent if it was in such rapid succession.  Roll made quick work of taking off and disposing her gloves to take a look.  Both messages were from Seles?  An invitation to the seasonal tea party?  Followed up with a message of excitement and...Emojis?  Seles normally didn’t type with emoji, perhaps she was really looking forward to it?  Well, if that was the case!  Roll wasn’t looking to disappoint!

magnolia: Describe your muse’s relationship with nature & the natural world 

Nautilus has a pretty good relationship with nature. She’s probably the type to pick up trash from the beaches to help the turtles, always put the right pieces of trash into the correct bins. She also isn’t scared of nature. Although she isn’t a fighter and the only defence is Liquus, she still moves on with optimism!

mint: Does your muse view themself as virtuous & moral? What do these words mean to them?

Nautilus would view herself as moral, although she would take criticism and try to change how she acts. To her these words mean to help everyone and give everyone a chance. Even if her worst enemy she’s trying to kill she would help them when in a clutch, only fair for you to kill them, correct? She also thinks that being moral means don’t hurt anyone unless provoked to attack, like in defence.

🎃 If they were to play a mean trick on Halloween, what would they do and who would be their target?

Hmm, well, Zelos has gone a few too many days without being tormented, so probably him. But it’s too long to wait to Halloween. It’s better to just scare him now. With those two extra spidery limbs he can pull out to scare his victims to death.

He also wants to prank Zynnia, but doesn’t think she’d be an easy one to scare. How unfortunate...

James is out in the woods again. He doesn’t have any real reason to be, aside from getting Carnivine some fresh air, but... it feels weird, being in one city all the time. No team, no twerp-and-Pikachu, nothing to guide where he chooses to go. Taking hikes through the forest feels a little more normal, and the terrain isn’t familiar yet, even if it’s getting easier to navigate.

It’s Carnivine who first notices another person near their improvised route, some kid out in the woods. It jumps lightly through the air and lands in front of her, greeting her with a cheery “Carnivine!” that has James trotting quickly after it.

“Hello, hello! Sorry about Carnivine, it’s just excitable.”

“Pardon me... Miss Seles, right?” It’s a surprise to run into her browsing the market, but Regal’s always glad to see someone from home. And though they’d only met briefly, the nobles of Tethe’alla tend to talk, and her reputation precedes her. He’d hoped to get a chance to speak with her again sometime, and now seems as good a time as any.

“My name is Regal Bryant, I’m a friend of your brother. I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”

seles was someone sheena felt personally responsible to look out for, something of a little sister as sardonic as that might sound to say out loud. with a hand reaching to rub awkwardly at the back of her head, the woman stalled: “uh... i mean, i just want to make sure is all.”

“Seles!”  Roll bounded into the ballroom with newfound excitement: this was only something she had ever day dreamed about.  It was such a romantic idea for a robot of her caliber, but now, she truly felt like Cinderella, in a picturesque ballgown and a party to a scale she couldn’t even imagine if she tried.  “I didn’t think I’d see you here, honestly!”
