Here’s our whole D&D group in cosplay! From left to right in the first photo:

Top row: Tick, the Kenku Cleric played by Ivy. Our DM, Jared looking all creepy and evil. Challan, the human wizard played by Sam. Vale, the minotaur warlock played by me.

Bottom row: Kathra, the dwarf fighter played by Heather. Sully, the human rogue played by Andrew.

I guess our unofficial group name is Sully and the Sullettes? 🙈😂 We need a better name. But seriously, I love these folks, and gaming with them is an absolute joy!

PS: when you spot Sully’s face in the second photo… 🤣 he proclaimed “I’m a rogue, I’m hiding”.

Vale is one of my most reckless D&D characters. Some of the dumb things she has done include using dimension door to get on the back of a white dragon as it was plunging into ice water. Or the time she snuck onto a galleon full of enemies without telling the party to try and kill her ex-fiancé. Needless to say sometimes she lets her emotions get the best of her. And sometimes she is cold towards the party. 😞 She can be bitchy and blunt, but there is a softer side to Vale that shows every now and then. I’m interested to see how Vale will progress, and I hope that we get to see more of her kindness come out.

First bit of progress to share on my next cosplay! I am making one of my D&D characters who is a Minotaur! Since I’m trying to put this cosplay together in under a month, I’m using some existing resources from the community to speed up the process, for example the pattern for these horns was made by the queen of cosplay herself, @kamuicosplay !! 🌈 I’ll be adding ridges to them soon. Playing D&D today 🙌 Last session Vale did something stupid (yet again) and somehow managed to trap herself in a room full of evil cultists quite far away from the party. (Impulsive castings of dimension door are not advised). Wish me luck getting her out of this mess. 🤞

We did it y’all! I finished my cosplay of my D&D character: Vale the Minotaur warlock. We played a full game session in cosplay yesterday, and it was so much fun! I’ll be posting pics of the whole group soon. My cosplay is based off of the custom miniature I made and painted of her from @heroforgeminis!!
