first -- I've been searching "ever after high miraheze wiki" for AGES and our wiki has never pulled up, but now we're the first FOUR results before we hit another unrelated wiki that isn't ours!!!!!!

I'm just really excited because I've been working on this wiki kind of nonstop for weeks <333 and it's finally coming to something!!!! progress is slow but we're making it!!!!

The Bug Fables Wiki has Migrated to Miraheze!

TL;DR: If you're looking for the Bug Fables wiki, please use the Miraheze version instead! The Fandom wiki's maintenance is no longer being actively supported, and it should not be even visited.

The longer notice: The Bug Fables wiki is off Fandom for good! This has been a long time in the making, and it is overall a positive change. The Miraheze wiki is fully functional and better than the Fandom wiki was previously, with no ads, better formatting, and an active team helping to maintain and correct information. If you're reading this and would like to help out, by all means! You can always join the official Bug Fables Discord server and ask around in the wiki-spoilers channel, but it's also possible to simply use the Talk pages to communicate with wiki editors.

Now that the wiki is on Miraheze, the Fandom wiki will receive only very minor edits where necessary, if ever. However, do not vandalize the Fandom wiki. Beyond vandalism generally being unhelpful, any visitation to the Fandom wiki improves Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the Fandom wiki, pushing it higher in search results and thus burying the Miraheze wiki. We want the new Miraheze wiki to be higher than the Fandom wiki in search results so traffic gets directed there, so even vandalism benefits Fandom in the end. Simply do not engage, do not click, pretend it doesn't exist.

The Bug Fables wiki has also been registered in Indie Wiki Buddy, an extension that automatically redirects away from Fandom wikis to indie wikis or a wiki mirror. It's recommended to click on the indie wiki directly yourself, but in case the indie wiki has poor SEO, this can help direct you to it. To reiterate: do not engage with the Fandom wiki. Fandom's monopoly over the wiki scene contributes significantly to the SEO of Fandom wikis, and every click counts, so spend them elsewhere.

Regardless, the migration has completed, but there's always work to be done. Whether you're just a wiki user or looking to help out with editing, I hope to see you on the new Miraheze wiki :)

Reminder that a lot of FANDOM wikis can't move because Miraheze isn't super friendly if you have complicated templates and CSS and a lot of the people running fan wikis simply don't have the resources to be able to host their own website. Please, you can criticize FANDOM without shaming individual wikis which may not have the ability and resources to move. Use BreezeWiki and UBlock.

ooo you play starbound? I want to enjoy it but I always feel. guilty knowing what happened in development :( I wanna play really bad but then my brain is like 'SHOULD u?'

oh yeah the situation surrounding that entire debacle is absolute shitte. they fucked up big time. but also that situation has been and gone (and i hope they face intense scrutiny from there forward and don't repeat it) + the game itself is like... idk, maybe 10-20 hours worth of engagement and then you get bored? so people should nab it on sale if they're tempted, i'm not sure the base game is worth full price

but I play it with the frackin' universe mod set installed, which has skyrocketed my current gameplay up to 1000+ hours, multiple characters, and that as a mod set is run and handled by just a single absolutely insane guy not affiliated with chucklefish and all the mod editors managing all their stuff under its umbrella are (presumably? it's mods. it's voluntary) just doing this for fun. it's basically what Feed The Beast is to minecraft. complex as hell to figure out but they've made it easier for new people to get into lately. you can farm bees for rare resources. you can get bit to death by tiny tiny spiders. you can exploit the power of the universe to make your weird ugly gun you found in a pirate's shipping crate stronger. i went fishing in lava and a massive meteor landed on my head with precision accuracy and exploded my body into a fine mist. the crown my bird character is wearing whispers subliminal messages in my ears

so honestly even if chucklefish themselves have been a bit weird i already HAD the game when all that came out. and now i'm in it more for the fuckin amazing experience of this shitload more work done and available for free (besides the basegame) done by people who do this for fun and really just want people to play what they've done and tear their hair out over it. bc that will happen

Look guys. This is a callout post for the Qsmp wiki.

Phil has said they are platonic. But that doesn’t mean that Missa doesn’t have a canon crush on his platonic husband. And if you keep ignoring that, you really showing your true colors. Phil boundaries are important sure I have no qualms. But Missa has numerous times referenced his romantic feelings or outright said it. Just because you don’t watch his streams and see his wiki show his one sided crush doesn’t mean Phil boundaries are broken. It’s one sided for a reason. You all getting upset for no reason. It’s bringing the idea you guys only support the English speakers. Because missa lore is his romantic feelings for Phil. If you actually watched his streams but I doubt you actually watch him.

You get upset at my friends for forcing “aggressive shipping” and headcanons when they just put Missa relationship to Phil as having a crush on Phil. Phil is untouched. BUT YOU GUYS are the ones known for forcing uncomfortable family dynamics and headcanons. I thought you guys would gotten better. But honestly. You guys just gotten worse.

Support Qsmp Miraheze Instead. At least they don’t feel the need to sanitize canon. They are much more respectful. Dont send hate though. This was a vent because my friends are having some issues that got me annoyed.
