Wanted to take note of what we know so far about what's going on with Avid's misadventures lore, so I figured I'd put it here. Transcripts are first, my thoughts are afterwards.

Midway through the most recent AA video at the time of writing, regarding a mysterious symbol on the ground: "But in a place of hopelessness, there is a sign of hope. A symbol on the ground that to this day no one full understands, but some see it as a symbol of progress and of change"

At the end of the video, a rocket is shown on this pad. Avid says: "But I've been called for a very important mission. A mission that I can't turn down. A mission that's going to require, 150% of what I've got. Thank you guys for an amazing season; I couldn't have done this without you." *Misadventure theme begins playing* *Sbk avid is shown looking upwards on a tree, presumably up at the rocketing ship. Olm watches/spots sbk avid.* The beginning of the first Misadventures video opens on the rocket drifting through space. "This is 0-LM 1 sending one final mission log. (note that 0-LM is pronounced Oh LM, not Zero LM) The mission was a-a complete failure. It's just me now. The rest of the crew... is dead" *Drone begins* "You know I-I was asleep for most of it. Woke up, everybody's screaming. Ran to the only escape pod, we, you know, we used to have two escape pods... budget cuts... tragic... It appears the collision with the nearby planet is imminent, survival rate looking aaaaat 19%, which you know... could be 20% if you subscribe to the channel. You're probably wondering who I am and why I'm here. Well, my name's Avid and I was invited to join the greatest opportunity in my content creator career. This is an SMP where we're going to be creating a Minecraft RPG together" (continues) *Screen starts shaking as rocket nears planet* And finally the misadventures "theme song" (thanks Egg!): Cabin pressure nominal Navigation optimal Nebulous phenomenal “Just a year or two, That’s all,” they say But something went wrong A meteor storm Anomaly on board You do not belong Oxygen on low One by one they fall Now I’m on my own I do not belong I do not belong I took the only escape pod Now hope’s the only thing I’ve got And I won’t just sit here, waiting This misadventure’s worth taking

I'm going to assume anyone reading this knows what happened in sbk, mostly because I'm not really the person to explain it. I recommend this if you need any pointers, some other info is linked in it as well:

With this in mind, the OLM naming of the spaceship makes a lot more sense, considering that the Avid on the spaceship is the one under his control.

The thing that piques my interest is that Avid appears entirely human during the duration of the third transcript, even though he usually becomes one when being controlled by Olm. This implys that either: 1. Avid is entirely himself in these moments and he had nothing to do with the problems on the ship, 2. Olm is controlling him without revealing the enderman form and Olm caused the destruction of the ship, 3. An entirely different entity, (i.e. an "anomaly") has replaced Avid and destroyed the ship. I'm actually not too certain which one I'm leaning to the most, the details regarding avid/anomaly not belonging in the theme song feel too important to ignore, but maybe I'm looking into things too hard. We have at least two more years of Misadventures to figure things out at least. I'm curious as to who "the rest of the crew" and the "anomaly" on the ship are! The crew could be villagers of the deep, canonically the players on the AA CMP, maybe they never existed? And maybe the anomaly is a remnant of Olm? No matter what they are, there's just such a strong disconnect between the end of AA season 4 and the start of Misadventures that I'm desperate to understand more of what happened. Although it could just be to make Misadventures more palatable for new viewers. Anyways uh. AvidMc_ America's sweetheart of all time.
