Your bodyguard, who had been standing nearby, steps in to create a path through the crowd, shielding you and Jack from the relentless paparazzi.

You send the bearded man a glare, shaking your head. "No. I don't even think she's walked the carpet yet."

Jack raises an eyebrow before turning his head to the carpet, which is still filled with celebrities and flashing cameras.

He scans the area, searching for any sign of Jenna among the chaos. He then turns back to you with a smirk on his lips. "I think you're just ducking her."

You roll your eyes at Jack's teasing remark.

"Please, like I have time to play hide and seek with Jenna. I'm just trying to avoid the relentless paparazzi."

You gesture towards the swarm of photographers jostling for the perfect shot.

Jack hums, his smile widening. A thought clicks into his head, causing his smile to drop.

"Oh, yeah! I talked to Melissa, and she is fine as fuck."

You thin out your lips. Jack probably didn't know she was married.

"I'll tell her husband you said that."

"You know what they say. Don't let your husband distract you from finding the love of your life."

You chuckle at his joke.

"May I say you look amazing tonight?" The interviewer states, smiling as they admire your appearance.

You smile, bringing your hands together to calm yourself before responding.

"Thank you so much."

"Are you a big fan of the Scream franchise?" The interviewer asks, moving their microphone closer.

You nod, your eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Absolutely! Ghostface is such an iconic character, and I love the twists that they put in the movie. It just always keeps you on your toes."

The interviewer chuckles, sharing your enthusiasm. "I completely agree! The Scream franchise has definitely left a lasting impact on the horror genre with its clever storytelling and memorable characters. Speaking of memorable characters, whose is your favorite?"

You pause for a moment, looking up at the sky as you bite down on your lip.

"Uhh... It's hard to choose just one, but if I had to pick, I would say Roman Bridger. I didn't suspect him at all, and his reveal as the mastermind behind everything in Scream 3 was a total shock. Plus, Scott Foley's performance was absolutely chilling."

The interviewer nods, appreciating your choice. "I couldn't agree more. He's surely one to remember."

You nod again, smiling. "For sure. I've always wanted to play Ghostface. Taking off the mask and revealing your plan must be so fun."

The interviewer laughs and says, "I'm sure you'd do great."

Before you could respond with a thank you, the interviewer speaks up.

"Jenna! It's so nice to see you." You turn to see Jenna, your heart dropping at the sight of her.

You force a tight-lipped smile at the brunette. "Hey Jenna, long time no see," you say, trying to sound casual.

Deep down, you can't help but wonder if she still thinks about you.

Jenna returns the smile. "Yeah, it's been a while," she replies softly.

Memories of your past together flood your mind, and you can't help but wonder if there's still a chance for reconciliation.

"You guys are so stunning, I can't even!" The interviewer gushes, snapping you out of your thoughts.

Jenna chuckles, her eyes meeting yours briefly before she turns her attention back to the interviewer.

"Jenna, I've gotta ask. Are you a fan of Y/N's music?" Jenna nods her head, glancing at you again before answering.

"I am. They're very talented musically, and I'm waiting for another album."

You try to fight back a smile, but it fails miserably. The interviewer notices your failed attempt to hide your smile and chuckles.

"Seems like there's mutual admiration here," they remark, noticing the subtle connection between you and Jenna.

You tilt your head, shrugging a bit. "I guess you could say that. Jenna's very talented herself, both musically and in acting."

Jenna feels the butterflies in her stomach erupt as you compliment her.

She's missed you, and she wants nothing more than to reconnect with you. She blushes slightly and responds, "Thank you."

Jenna turns towards you, a surprised expression on her face as she pauses mid-sentence.

After a brief moment of hesitation, she nods slowly, her curiosity piqued. "Sure, why not? Let's go."

Percy furrows his eyebrows, watching you and Jenna walk off together.

When you arrive home, you take off your jacket and help Jenna with hers.

Jenna mumbles a thank you before making herself comfortable on the couch.

She looks around the unfamiliar surroundings, seeing as you've changed a few things since the last time she was there.

Jenna's eyes linger on a Polaroid of you and her, capturing a happy memory from months ago. Of course, Jenna still loved you, but was she ready to take the risk of getting hurt again?

She couldn't bear the fact that things might not work out between you two, causing more heartbreak.

Fame had always been a double-edged sword for Jenna. While it had brought her success and recognition, it also came with constant scrutiny and pressure.

It's what ruined you two. Jenna being constantly busy due to acting and you constantly being busy due to singing made it difficult for you both to find quality time together.

Despite the love that still existed between you, the demands of your respective careers created a growing distance that neither of you knew how to bridge.

You walk into the living room, two glasses of wine in your hand. "Actually," Jenna speaks up, and you raise your eyebrows in anticipation.

She continues, "Could we sit on your balcony?"

You nod, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "Of course," you say, leading the way to the balcony.

As you settle into the comfortable chairs, the city lights twinkling below, Jenna takes a deep breath and says, "I miss moments like this, just being together without any distractions."

You take a sip of your wine, pausing to savor the flavor before responding. "Me too," you say, gazing out at the night sky.

"I missed you."

Jenna's eyes soften, and she reaches over to gently touch your lap. "I missed you too," she whispers.

"I hope you know that I'm not dating Percy."

"I know," you reply, a small smile forming on your lips. "I knew you wouldn't downgrade like that."

Jenna chuckles softly, her dimples beginning to show. "That's hilarious."

A silence falls over the two of you.

"I couldn't imagine being with anyone other than you," you snap your head towards her, your heart swelling with love at words.

She always knew the right thing to say.

"You're the only one who truly understands me, Y/N." Jenna's eyes meet yours, her brown pupils glistening in the moonlight.

"I can't find myself being vulnerable or trusting with anyone else." She finishes off, breaking away from your gaze.

You don't say anything, you just place your hand over top of hers, which was resting on your lap.

Now, Ms Mary Sue decided to pop up to town to help save Pop’s Chocklit Shoppe and expand its franchise. Cool. My question is, what the holy heavens is she still doing here? She was a business woman from Chicago and just decided to drop everything and come save Pops. My irritation with Tabitha is that we have NO background of her life. None. Zilch. Nada. Shouldn’t that be a warning sign?

One episode, Jughead mentioned he was worried about Betty being on the highway, and she acknowledged it, then deflected to his sobriety, calling him out on having alcohol breath. 🤨 then proceeded to put her hand on his. How is helping with him his addiction also flirting ? If he can’t worry about Betty, she shouldn’t be throwing herself in an subtle way. Maybe that’s just me …

Tabitha’s lovely parents came to town for Mother’s Day and instead of just indulging her parents by going to a restaurant her MOTHER wanted to go to, she invites Jughead 😐 as her boyfriend. Knowing how vulnerable jughead is, and knowing right now he doesn’t need a distraction/relationship, she inserts him in her family’s bullshít. “Don’t worry about Betty, you need to concentrate on your sobriety. Hey come to dinner with me and my parents as my boyfriend.” Oh let’s not forget that she goes back with him to Archie’s garage. 😑 Hypocritical much? Yeah, NO.

Last but not least, after ONE DATE, she asks him to move in with her. I’m sorry, but does she know how a relationship works? Why the hell would you ask an alcoholic, whose barely get by sober, to move in with you after ONE DATE? That’s doomed for destruction. She has no common sense and decency to allow him to continue his journey to sobriety and allow himself to heal from his still broken heart.

This is ONLY from season 5. I could continue on, but you get the drift that, Tabitha a.k.a. Mary Sue isn’t so perfect. She inserted herself in Jughead’s & Betty’s business without being asked to. You think because now Pops is your diner and that the people that come through that door is now your business? Their lives ? No. You need to go back to Chicago, fix your relationship with your parents and move on. Riverdale isn’t for you. Don’t try to play “I can’t fix him/them” because you’re no superhero. Stop making peoples lives your business. And again… we know NOTHING about you. What are you really running from Ms Tate?

while you’re curled up on your side, behind you is your phone, stuffed with notifications of messages and missed calls from atsumu, suna, and osamu.

you don’t know when’s the last time you checked your messages or talked to anyone. or even used your phone for more than you usually do.

this ‘break’ for your mental health to get 'better’ didn’t turn out as you thought it would, and now you’re just feeling worse and more vulnerable than ever, wanting to just talk to someone and vent, but you don’t, afraid to seem needy and dependent.

at this point, you’re convinced nobody wants to talk to you again after ghosting everyone. you weren’t even ghosting anyone since you didn’t talk to anyone but the three. thinking about this wasn’t making you feel any better about yourself and just made you pity yourself even more.

your phone rings and buzzes again behind you, but you still don’t answer it. you’ve told yourself you’ll talk later, but there’s been hundreds of laters already yet you still haven’t said a word to them.

only do you realize you’ve opened the door to let them in when you’re now sitting down, head on folded arms on the table.

no one in the room say anything but they only watch you and sigh with you.

atsumu, having enough if your 'silent treatment’, stands up and raises his voice, his hands curled into a tight fist, shaking. “what’s up with you? are you seriously just gonna quit talking to us- no, not just us but everyone else? are you cutting us off from your life without even telling us why? come on! you know better than that!”

“and what if i don’t?” your throat feels dry and itchy, your voice coming out raspy after not using your voice for more than a week. tears well up, but not enough to fall. “i didn’t mean to do any of this! i just- i was-”

looking atsumu and everyone else in the eye was hard enough, so you don’t finish your words, letting tension and their assumptions finish your sentence.

you let your head fall down again onto your folded arms on the table. even though you’ve already shouted, it doesn’t feel enough to let go of everything you’ve wanted to vent out. you want to fall apart.

“you what?” osamu pulls down a growling atsumu to sit, and with his ever-so-patient, soft, calm voice and eyes, looks to you. osamu’s always extended his patience when it comes to you. you feel like he’s spoiled you too much. you’ve used him too much.

“we’re genuinely worried about you,” suna starts, pausing in between his words. “there are people who care about you too.”

you blink, and your eyelashes fall wet, a few teardrops on the table where your eyes were. but you didn’t want them to see any of that, so you sniffle and wipe it away before looking up to them, giving in the desire to let them see you like this.

“i didn’t want to drag you into this mess. my mess.”

huffing, atsumu’s fist loosens up. “you’re unfair and selfish.”

osamu bites his tongue and lip, but settles to side with his brother. “you’re… such a hypocrite.”

“i’m with them on this,” suna’s voice is firm unlike the other two.

your voice cracks when you mutter out an apology, but tears don’t dare fall from your eyes.

“what happened to 'it’s okay to be vulnerable and ask for help’?” atsumu’s brows are furrowed, and when you look at him, you know he’s hurt. not as much as you were, nonetheless, he was hurt.

“it’s… scary and… hard,” you breathe out, intertwining your fingers. “i’ve wanted to come to you guys when i need or have to… but words get stuck. i’m scared of judgement too.”

there’s a small puddle of water om the table from the ice cream thawing and the cold drinks. when you look at it, it doesn’t reflect your face. you don’t see yourself, but you think you look pathetic.

“you know how i’ve always been scared of being another brick to carry, don’t you guys?” you laugh, but the tension and all your heavyhearts keep the atmosphere from getting lighter. “i’m… still a kid, i guess.”

you lean backwards, your head hanging behind.

“we joke around a lot, but we can get serious and honest too. you’re not the only one,” osamu sighs, slowly relieving his muscles and leaning back in the couch.

“i’m pretty sure you already know how straightforward we can be,” suna’s lip quirks up. he reaches out for three cold drinks, handing osamu one, the other in front of you and the kast one for himself.

atsumu doesn’t have the energy to complain, so he reaches out for his own. “if we tell you it’s okay then it’s okay. unlike you,” the can of soda whispers as he opens it. “we know when and how to say no,” he ends.

thankfully, suna’s opened up your drink for you. it feels cold and your tongue feels tingly when you take a sip. despite that, for the first time in a while, you feel a little more warm.

EPISODE TWO “I’m a little rat I guess” - Laney

gonna start by saying FUCK 2048!!!! but I made it past week 1. happy to be here. but don't ask me to play 2048 at all after this or I will deck you in the face. I've been playing for like 3 hours now and I still don't think it's enough. I don't want to be seen as a weak link for the team, especially since the power lies within our whole team this week. I don't want to give up on my team or myself, so I'm gonna try my best. but holy shit is this annoying and tedious as fuck. sorry production team fsdkjhfds but! I'm not having it. also that 14-1 vote holy shit .... like. what? anyways not gonna be 2nd boot

So we're in challenge game mode and Im kind of excited! I always wanted to play so Im happy! Qith that said this has the opportunity to prevent a steamroll of strategy and social peeps which is not too bad from a ratings perspective. If Jarod can throw it then it may ensure one of Keegan/Ben leave in my eyes but if they win then we are in a pickle with Grey being targeted so we'd have to name someone Grey can beat. Nevertheless that is a 9:30 problem and not a right problem but I hope all goes well!

ahhhh i hate 2048 and im worried cause if strength wins, they might go for grey which is unacceptable but i'm not good at 2048 AT ALL.

This whole Challenge thing is screwing with my mind but like if we can get someone strong out here i wont care. I suggested Mo because i was at the bottom of their list. Like i can bite back too grrr

strength won the lead team thing and I feel stupid like of course they would win! but I did pull my score up a lot and I'm happy with silver. I don't know why I thought someone would send me to the ball pit... especially since I've been social with all the teams. linden and batty both want to send kay, but kay is in my biggest alliance so I don't want to send her. especially since she did so well for strategy in 2048, it wouldn't feel fair. I feel kinda weird tonight? nothing really happened... well that's a lie. jarod kinda lied to me  about the strength scores which like ok fine it's the point of the game but I feel kinda dumb for it :/ I'm really trying to read signals as best as I can from people but sometimes I miss stuff and trust people really easily. it takes a lot of effort to understand what people mean sometimes, like I take jokes very literally and it makes me feel stupid. I'm just in a mood I guess. I'm kinda letting everyone take the wheel with strategizing the vote for the ball pit since I'm just feeling a little wonky tonight. happy week 2 I guess :(

I simply assumed that they weren’t interested in talking because they gave me nothing! Imma need team social to not be hypocritical and live up to their name...

also.. for this vote, lindy and batty pushed kays name out because they don't talk to kay i believe. but then kay told us in asyas-angels later that she tried to talk to them and they ignored her so thats fun!! and the strategy people want to do lindy? thats the name chris said he heard from laney because apparently, lindy was the one vote for laney. grey also wanted lindy up because she seems to ditch the social ppl for alex easily. but i mean she prob voted alex because she felt bad for him. anyways, i don't want either lindy or kay to go up, so im pushing for batty to go up, using his 'having a decent alliance with phoenix' which he told social people that. he kept pushing for kay hard but i mean i have a 'decent alliance with kay' too so im not gonna let him get his way. so ive been trying to plant some seeds and using that info to tell shane that we need to get batty in the battle cause i mean the strengths already voted phoenix in. why would the strengths want to keep batty who is in decent alliance with phoenix? it seems working so far. and it might be between kay or batty or lindy atp. so we'll see.

Being put up for elimination did surprise me, I will admit, but also I'm not *really* surprised. I've been slacking when it comes to reaching out to people and making myself present, especially with Team Strength. I'm reaching out to those I *have* spoken to on Strength about potential votes and nominees other than me, and I think with Laney's help I might have a fighting chance. I don't want to go home, I'd really like to stay longer, but honestly with the stress of other things going on right now, I don't think I'l be mad if I do leave. Not to say I'm going to roll over and give up of course lmao that's not my style.

Hmm so apparently with Linden/Batty wanting Kay up, and Laney/Strategy team wanting Linden up, I talked to Captain and I kind of wanted Batty to be put up just because it seemed they were pushing hard for Kay. Now if Asyas/Kays Angels all vote Batty out while everyone is split then Batty vs Phoenix happens...let's see how it goes

now.... tell me why Batty made it seem like I was seriously facing elimination 🧐I suppose I'll never truly know, but it's very weird that he'd throw Linden under the bus in an attempt to save himself at the last minute... I don't think I can trust him (or Linden for that matter). I just hope Phoenix makes it through this elimination and Team Strategy stays strong!! period

This confessional is actually about week 2 but I never got the chance to actually write on properly. Batty is gone. Withered away in a challenge against Phoenix. And this was probably the best possible outcome after Larry’s Magic Wand was waves by Alex with his dying breath. We put up Phoenix (we as in the strength team) and then swung the votes towards Batty. The other option was Linden, which HELL NO. Linden must stay. Kay’s name was out there as another option but that wasn’t happening either. And I had a great little four day vacation! 

SO this was 2048 week and honestly i loved it. I had a good feeling that my group would win as strength, giving us a chance to show our strength muscles and i think i placed like top 3 or 4 of everyone and came in second on my team I love that. With us being one down I'm really hoping that gives us a chance to be not as dangerous for a bit. Phoenix being nominated for elimination was a safer move. the group started with wanting Mo and i agreed but we backed off a bit on making a big move and just let that happen. Batty throwing out Kay's name was a good enough reason to me. I want to be in an alliance with shane keegan Kay Chris and Nailah. stratngth..... we have time to work on the name lol. so having them go against each other plus i heard those two were close so im glad they had to go against each other. Ive been villainous and its been fun. promising alex i would keep him,  playing the veto week one on keegan and not telling him but stirring things up a bit early. I love my strength team and i am very excited to eventually vote out ben and jarod:)
