So because I keep seeing posts about how the protocols file system is more organized than the original archives, I feel like I gotta point out something crucial:

It is organized to the point of being useless.

If you were looking for a specific statement it makes sense to log it by date, but the protocol's system logs it by suspected problem.

Which is fine if one person is using the system, but if I read something and think it sounds like zombies,hillbillies,missingparts. Then you read it and thought it was reanimation,magic,incomplete. You start to see where the major flaw is.

Sure everything has its own folder among its subfolders of subfolders, but if something specific can not be found at a later date it ultimately is more disorganized than the original archives ever dream of being.

It does make me wonder about the possible theme/danger of over organization and trying to pin such an amalgamous thing down as just one thing.

I couldn’t make all the pieces fit,    so I threw one away.     No expectation of success now,  none of that worry.       The remaining pieces seemed    to seek their companions.    A design appeared.     I could see the connection  between the overgrown path  and the dark castle on the hill.       Something in the middle, though,    was missing.     It would have been important once.  I wouldn’t have been able to sleep  without it
