rose - describe your crush. — aahhh i’ve just seen her soooo! 🥰 she’s very blonde with a short pixie cut, not extremely tall but not tiny either (definitely taller than me), super lean and quite toned but not extremely muscular, kinda brisk but also playful and bubbly when she’s in a good mood and with the right people, bc she’s actually really, really shy and private, and mostly keeps to herself behind the ‘cool loud girl’ facade. dark blue eyes, BEST SMILE in the world, cutest laugh, GRAVELLY VOICE, apparently a dog person, an actual athlete (like winning huge stuff bc she’s amazing and all that) and also a middle school teacher... perfectionnnn ugh and she’s kind of hyperactive and looks extremely good in glasses but also in her cycling gear and idkkkk i just wish i could talk to her 24/7, she is so interesting and adorable and charming okkkk i’m done 

freesia - are you still friends with the person you considered your best friend two years ago? — i have a couple of people i consider my best friends and they’re still there, yes. my ‘historical’ best friend is someone i’ve known since preschool

I was tagged by wonderful @punkenglishnerd - Thank you for tagging me and for your inspiring questions <3 Snuggled up in bed, looking out of my window and watching pink clouds while answering these as honest as possible...

1. What is one event that completely changed your life or was a turning point in your life?

I’m a people pleaser so one of the biggest turning points for me was to learn that I can actually say no (sometimes even without explanation) and that I can set my boundaries without it being the end of the world. Most people understand and the ones that don’t are most probably the toxic ones in your life.

2. What is your favorite place you’ve ever been to? Can be a country, a city, or even something as small as a cafe you went to once.

Florence in Italy. Forever Firenze. Spent half a year there as an au-pair-girl and the city gives me a feeling no other city is capable of. My second choice would probably be the silent and dusty attic of my childhood I sneaked in to as a child to secretly write stories.

3. Who is your confidant or go-to whenever you need advice or someone to just vent to?

This question made me realize how incredibly lucky I am to have the most beautiful souls in my life I can always reach out to. My sisters, my boyfriend, my best friends – they always have my back.

4. What is your philosophy on life?

I’m a quite spiritual person so I would say the Lay of Attraction is definitely something I believe in and I try to live according to it.

5. If you could master one skill, what would you choose?

For some reason I have always been deeply fascinated by the art of glassblowing so I would love to be able to do that!

6. If you were given $1000 (or the equivalent in your currency) but had to spend it on someone else, who would you spend it on and what would you buy?

I would spend it on my parents, probably give them a nice long vacation at a calm place in the mountains (for my dad) or at the sea (for my mom). They deserve this so much.

7. Is there something people usually assume about you that isn’t true? If so, what is it? (For example, it could be based on your race, sexuality, gender, personality, etc.)

That’s difficult…People that don’t know me well and that see me at parties or in bigger groups might think I’m a super social person because I’m usually quite extroverted, positive, high energy etc. when I’m at parties. But they don’t know that I have a very introverted side as well and need lots of alone time.

8. How do you typically spend a sick day?

I lay in bed in my most comfy pyjamas and undies, have naps all the time throughout the day, drink ginger tea with honey, call a loved one maybe, try to read a bit but fall asleep after the second page. If my twin sister is at home (we live together) I have the luxury of being taken the best care of.

9. Imagine you became famous for something. What would you want to be famous for?

Somewhere deep inside I still have the secret wish of becoming a famous writer.

10. Describe yourself as if you were a character in a book.

She loved so much it made her heart full and heavy as well as hurt and scared by thinking of the fragility of human life and by thinking of how easily we are wounded. No matter how much she tried to get used to the fact that we will all die eventually – death still freaked her out.
