broke: Saying the fallout universe only has 50s music and some 60s music woke: Saying that the fallout universe also has other decades of music in it bespoke: Saying that in the fallout universe, music based around the 50s and 60s was in vouge before the bombs dropped and thus, what plays on the radio is music from those eras because the people controlling the radio (most notably in NV) either want the post apocalypses world to return to being like prewar or only had access to what was popular in pre-war times. Thus, other music styles do exist in the fallout world but they simply weren’t mainstream in pre-war culture (kinda like how jazz is in our time). It isn’t that much of a stretch to say your oc or a canon character likes a style of music that doesn’t coincide with what the pre-war aesthetic was. Along with that, even though the creators of the games sparingly put original songs in the games, both Pre and Post war fallout would have had their own original music. Pre-war having their own original radio songs that took inspiration from 50s and 60s music styles along with a few songs with other music styles. And Post-war having a large variety of music genres depending on where you are/who is making it.

A list of random Freeside/Mormon Fort Headcannons because Why Not
freeside is WAY bigger than in canon, it's also not 100% slum, it's more like certain sections of it are 'nicer'/what NCR tourists see and then there's large chunks of slum in between the city
there's a lot of outdoor vendors and grocers, a lot of the produce freeside gets comes from farms in outer vegas. the mormon fort mostly gets their food donations from the westside co-op and from followers outposts in the Mojave
there are other businesses in freeside! there is gonna be an optometrist in freeside- it's a city, and people have been wearing glasses for centuries- I’m not really sure where the assumption that people just wear scavenged prewar pairs with no regard to prescription came from gfjhdsfsdf. Same with bookstores, and tailors and restaurants and random little stores. And there'd be businesses that cater to the diff social classes in the city; like there’s mom and pops shops that mostly serve the general population, and then there’s places like the Wrangler that cater towards wealthier residents and tourists
The followers offer a free school in mormon fort for adults and children. It’s just a big tent, with teachers in it that teach different types of education (ranging from basic literacy skills to subject work like maths/science/history to basic training for people who want to join the followers). The followers have other schools scattered around the NCR (Boneyard is the biggest one) that have better resources, which are in competition with schools backed by the NCR government. There is a couple of small private schools in freeside but you have to pay a lot to go, it's more for people of middle/upper class wealth. Which contributes to some of the class tension in the city, esp since a lot of wealthier NCR settlers are the ones who can afford that sort of thing
The followers all take turns cooking in a kitchen for the workers in the fort (there is a separate staff who cooks for charity/patients since they're so overwhelmed, and patients often have special dietary needs), Arcade dreads his turn every week.
The followers also have a couple of partnerships with local businesses in Freeside for resources, it's just enough to keep them from drowning and Julie wishes that larger businesses would support them. Ex: my oc Bina provides printing services to them at a discount
there's a lot of stray animals in freeside, like dogs n’ such.

Welps here we go! New Vegas School Headcannons lol,
If anyone wants to add onto these they’re welcome too ^^ these are just my ideas on how schools might work in the wasteland
Most schools in the wasteland are small and non centralized. They’re either small private schools that people pay to go to or are informal schools run by volunteer staff (usually other parents). These schools teach basic literacy and arithmetic skills and vocational skills, and some other subject works if it’s a private school with more resources.
Most kids in the wasteland (especially kids who live in small towns/farms or kids whose families can’t afford formal schooling) are homeschooled by their families or go to an informal school.
The Followers of the Apocalypse first started to open widespread schools across the wasteland as they expanded their facilities. These schools were structured to teach core subjects such as science, math, literature and history and also have a strong emphasis in self exploration/interest based study. All of the schools are either free or very cheap because they’re geared towards the average wastelander. A lot of Followers schools (such as ones in facilities like Mormon Fort) also teach literacy and vocational skills for adults.
The first Followers school was opened at their headquarters in Boneyard, nowadays it’s a university/research facility/hospital. Most of the followers in Mormon Fort studied there. Anyone can become a follower, but in order to do research in a specific field or do medical practice they need to train and get certification for it. Mormon Fort does a fast tracked version of this training for medical practice because they’re so short staffed in their hospital.
The school in Mormon Fort is a giant tent where several scheduled classes take place such as schooling for diff age groups of kids, classes for adults, training/briefing sessions for the followers, etc. It’s either located in Mormon Fort or just outside of it, so the school doesn’t disrupt the hospital.
Outer Vegas/Freeside also has their own private school but it’s a little costly so only wealthier residents attend it. Yes, this adds to the class tensions in the city.
The NCR started making their own public school system as a response to the Followers schools and as a way to ‘unify’ the country education-wise. It’s modelled after Pre-War schools and yeah. It’s pretty biased in the NCR’s favor gfhjsdj what did we expect.
These schools are more prevalent in the cities and in larger towns though the NCR is trying to expand them into the rural communities.
The NCR also tries to rapidly expand their school system by taking over private schools and making them public schools instead. The good thing about this is that the school is free to attend now. The bad thing is y’know. Propaganda. Also I feel like the NCR would overextend themselves with this and the schools wouldn’t have many resources/funding.
A lot of people in the NCR still homeschool or informally teach their kids so attendance at their public schools isn’t great. The government is debating making attendance mandatory.
The school in New Canaan is a private Christian School. As you’d expect gsdfg
Larger towns like Primm have their own small private schools and small towns like Goodsprings have informal schools.
In Jacobstown they’re thinking about opening a small informal school for supermutants who want to learn other skills/subjects.
The Legion doesn’t have schooling persay? It’s more like Caesar has these “temples” modelled after Roman ones that “teach” kids his ideology. These are run by those priestesses they mentioned in the cut content. It’s meant to be how he makes sure the next generation of the places he conquered is loyal to the legion. Attendance is mandatory. Libraries and schools are very controlled to make sure that the Legion is the only “reliable” source of info people deep in its territory have. So basically it’s all just. Blatant Propaganda.
The small size of the Enclave and Brotherhood meant that it was easy to have kids in their own small school. These classes were pretty much like pre-war classes with a militaristic edge to them. Teens would be trained in combat/power armor training. Kids in classes were also expected to ‘chip in’/help the organization by helping with distribution, propaganda, etc.
A lot of pre-war ghouls started the first proper schools in the wasteland as a means of keeping info alive.

Do you have any headcanons for the Strip casinos?
Sure do! ^^
First one is that they weren’t actually tribes, they were small gangs and nomadic groups with no real ties to indigenous peoples. Mr. House called them “tribals” cause he’s a Fucking Twat. (This is just my way of trying to fix some of the unfortunate implications the game has by having the strip families formerly be tribes, if anyone has any other suggestions on how to handle/fix the racist aspects of the game I am more than happy to listen ^^)
The Ultra Luxe has a strict dress code for guests. You have to either be in a well tailored suit or a dress that goes below the knees. They allow high heels or flats and they insist jewelry shouldn’t be too overstated. It’s the casino that conforms the most to ‘50s fashion senses’. The other casinos are MUCH more flexible and will allow guests to enter in whatever clothes they want (at the expense of the guest standing out like a sore thumb in the casino lmao).
The Tops is the most family friendly casino and it is popular with wealthier families and guests who want a more casual experience. The Ultra Luxe comes after that in that while anyone can go inside it, it’d be pretty boring for a kid (also I’m really sure the masks would scare some children rip). ...I’m not gonna even mention the Gomorrah hjdghf.
The strip has several other smaller businesses and casinos and hotels in it, they just aren’t owned by the three families. There is also a lot of street performances in the strip. Basically- imagine the Actual strip from Vegas. It’s like that lol.
Shopping is popular in the strip, it’s common to see larger clothes stores that are veerrryy pricey. Same with eating at upscale restaurants- even though the main casinos offer restaurants of their own, there is a lot of places to eat.
The White glove originally continued to be cannibals in secret soon after they opened the Ultra Luxe (there was a strict rule to not mix their food with food for the Gourmand), but less and less people continued the practice over time, leading to the divide the group faces regarding their erm- traditions.
The Omertas function like an organized crime ring, they are the most aggressive when it comes to threatening other businesses and people they find as a threat to themselves.
The Families have several business ties to other trade groups and businesses across the NCR and Mojave.
The Strip also constantly has some sort of renovation or construction project going on in it. House wants the area to be constantly improved upon. They mostly hire in workers from Freeside. Some Freesiders also work as staff in the businesses of the Strip. The Families mostly run their own casinos but they hire out for jobs like housekeeping, janitors, and waiting tables because they don’t have enough people to be completely self sufficient. The Ultra Luxe is the largest Family and hires out the least in order to maintain their mysterious public image. This causes several problems regarding wages and worker rights, and resurfaces the debate regarding how Strip is closed off to the poorer locals.
Younger members of the Families start learning to run the businesses by working in waitstaff or in the lobby of the hotel for the casino. They move up the ranks of jobs as they get older and get better at their jobs.
The casino staff at the casinos have an ongoing list of “weirdest things that have happened there”
Some people nickname the securitron police bots.

I RETURN how about goodsprings this time around?
Ok! :D
Goodsprings has a population of about 100. Most of the residents are farmers
They get most of their trade from Primm and from the occasional caravan that passes by
When Primm got taken over by powder gangers, trade from there evaporated. This made the town uneasy that they’d either get dragged into a conflict or wouldn’t get trade from there anymore
Sunny and Chet want to come up with more ways to attract visitors but Trudy is more cautious to it. She doesn’t want to attract trouble to the town
Chet sets his prices high and likes to pretend that he only cares about making money but it’s very easy to get him to lower his prices. He cares too much to actually make his wares expensive.
Sunny is the one who convinced Chet to start offering weapons modding in his shop when he showed her how to modify her gun.
Most kids in Goodsprings are homeschooled or are taught outside near the campfire by a volunteer schoolteacher. There have been talks about clearing out and renovating the schoolhouse
Trudy is often present when new babies are born- everyone sees her as somewhat of a town mom
Trudy has a couple of people she hires to help with the bar, they help her with stacking the inventory, cooking and cleaning
Chet’s general store sells everything from dry groceries to clothes to weapons. Produce is sold informally from different farmers
I feel like either someone has their own mutant chicken coop that they use for eggs or someone breeds domestic geckos for eggs. Or both
It’s common for teens to try and sneak to the graveyard at night and shoot bloatflies or hang out. One night a couple of teens saw a small trio of suspicious men just outside the cemetery and ran back to tell the nearest adult. A couple hours later, Benny and his gang received a cold welcome from a suspicious Trudy.
Victor is a controversial point among the townspeople. Kids love him but most of the adults either tolerate him or are creeped out by him.
If the town has to make a decision on an important matter they meet in the Pioneer Saloon and take a vote on it. I like to imagine that during the first quest of the game, Sunny and the Courier convinced Trudy to call a meeting to plan how to defend the town.
The motorbikes in front of the Saloon work- they run on solar energy. Shhhhh lemme have this one hgfjhdfg
Sunny sells most of the gecko hides/meat she hunts to Chet. She likes to make jerky and other dishes with the remaining meat. She also makes dog treats for Cheyenne.
Cheyenne is 6 years old
Easy Pete sometimes shows youngin’s how to use his dynamite if they pester him enough about it. He also likes to give stories about his old prospector days to anyone who asks him. These stories are long
Doc Mitchell keeps his pipboy as a memento from his days in the Vault. Before the events of FNV he didn’t even let other people touch it and he maintained it to make sure it was working. He gave it to the courier because something in the back of his mind said that the Courier was really going to need it.

(its lady-luck-courier!) headcannons for the kings??? (also if its cool with you can I implement them in with my Kings OC Roy?)
Hi!!!!! You’re totally welcome to use these (and any of my other headcannon lists). These are pretty informal and are just stuff that I like to think about cause I like imagining how the world of NV’s like lol.
The Kings are super popular with kids. Kids love to hang around various kings and it’s common to see them hanging in the School of Impersonation. The King has a soft spot towards kids and while he welcomes kids to hang out with them he is very adamant that they don’t join the gang because they are too young. He’ll allow older teens into the Kings on a case by case basis.
The Kings are well known in Freeside to shelter people who need a place to stay in a pinch (usually because of an abusive situation). They especially are protective of kids and teens. They have set up connections with other families and Mormon Fort to help out and they also have a room and some resources ready if they have to take them in.
The Kings are very LGBT+ friendly! A lot of their members are in the community
Some Kings live in the School of Impersonation and others live in their own homes. It’s very flexible for them, the only real requirements is that they keep their uniform and follow the rules set by the King.
The Kings have other headquarters than the School of Impersonation- they’re like the houses of families who are related to them and small businesses that support them lmao. This is to make sure they are well spread across Freeside but they have more of a presence in some neighborhoods than others (ex: they’re more present in poorer neighborhoods than wealthier ones).
The King has tried to stop the gang fights between king members and NCR soldiers/settlers but he’s been pretty occupied with trying to manage the group and help the locals since the NCR has started to encroach on the city. Pacer’s “fight back against the NCR” attitude hasn’t helped matters at all. Their differences on the issue created a small rift between them but they do deeply care about each other.
The King totally has an entire Elvis themed wardrobe. And maybe an Elvis poster in his room lmao.
The School of Impersonation serves as both the headquarters of the Kings and also as a small casual club and community center for the locals. The Kings hold events there sometimes, including weddings.
The King is Pansexual! ^^
Rock n’ Roll is much more present in Freeside than Jazz because of the influence from the Kings. It’s also a bit of a cultural protest against the Strip and the NCR.
Some Kings have other jobs or run their own businesses. Once, a couple of younger Kings tried to start music lessons in the School of Impersonation with...mixed results lol.
Rex is very beloved by the entire gang. Other members of the Kings also have pets of their own.
The Kings are more open to accepting locals into their group than outsiders. That’s why the Courier could only join with the King’s favor- the King needed to make sure that he could trust them since they were an outsider.
The Followers and the Kings get along pretty well with each other. Despite their disagreements on things like the Kings control of the water pump, they do support each other.
People who leave the Kings are still regarded as part of the family (usually members leave because they left Freeside or decided to settle down).
Some of the kings spread pamphlets. They usually are about local businesses, maps of Freeside for tourists, info about their gang or events, etc. In recent times sometimes rowdier members would spread papers against House or the NCR. This stirs up trouble.
A few pre war ghouls have approached them in the past and tried to explain to them who Elvis was. They didn’t believe them rip.

Alrighty, here’s some Enclave Remnants headcannons! This might have a little bit of an overlap with my headcannons about Little Arcade post and my ranking of the remnant’s parenting skills post lol, but this will be focused on the remnants specifically. And maybe also Arcade’s parents. Also this got a little long- oops.
Mark Gannon was a big ol’ nerd. I mean he canonically knew Latin (there’s a quote of him saying a latin phrase in front of Arcade’s character binder). He came off as a soft spoken, affable person but he was brutal when it came to his job as the leading officer in the Devil’s Brigade.
Arcade’s mom was a very witty (and also nerdy) person. She came off as lively, elegant but incredibly cunning. She used to be a scientist in the Enclave. Something with either genetics or mechanical engineering.
Daisy is a lesbian. She was closeted until Arcade was a preteen because of a lot of stigma that was in the Enclave. She was also the first-person Arcade came out to and she helped support him and help him transition.
After the Second Battle of Hoover Dam she became friends with Pearl from the Boomers and then they started dating. They bonded over pilot things.
Johnson was the moral compass in the group. Even though he came to odds with the others when it came to subverting orders, they covered his back and made sure he wouldn’t get in trouble.
Johnson’s first name is Richard.
Judah tries his best to hold the others together but there were times when he felt that he couldn’t really fill Mark’s shoes as the ‘leader’. He'd blame himself if something bad happened to the group.
Daisy helped Arcade’s parents take care of him even before they died. She was close friends with them.
Johnson is bisexual. He also had a teeny crush on Mark Gannon (I don’t think he ever admitted it to anyone- they all just suspected it)
The Remnants homeschooled Arcade when he was little. They didn’t want him accidentally saying something to a teacher or another student- especially in an NCR backed school.
The group met Dr. Henry sometime after Arcade’s mom died. He quit his job working as a scientist in the NCR out of fear that he’d be outed as being formerly Enclave.
Mark Gannon had facial hair (I’m thinking like a long stubble beard)- Once Arcade tried to grow out his facial hair and then Daisy said he looked a lot like his dad. Arcade shaved it off after a minor existential crisis and prefers to be clean shaven cause of that.
Judah is ridiculously good at strategy games. His favorite game is chess.
Moreno threatened to leave the group and join the other members of the Enclave who were leaving for the east coast multiple times when they first left the Enclave. He could never actually bring himself to leave the group though.
I’m really sure Johnson is clinically depressed. Please get him some therapy.
You know what- get all of them therapy.
Henry doesn’t like children very much. He finds that they drain his patience and distract him from his work. He used to give Arcade busy work whenever he had to take care of him so he could focus on his actual research. He still does this whenever Arcade visits him in Jacobstown (much to Arcade’s annoyance).
Johnson and Moreno knew each other since they were teens. They never really got along.
Johnson smokes to calm his nerves.
The remnants gave Arcade a gun when he turned 11 to defend himself. Johnson and Judah taught him how to use it. They gave him his plasma defender on his 18th birthday sometime before he left to study with the Followers.
Moreno had a “tough love” approach when it came to parenting Arcade. Sometimes this led to some…less than ideal parenting situations. He meant well but he isn’t suited to be a parent like- at all. Ex: Once when Arcade was 15, he tried one of Johnson’s cigarettes and Moreno caught him smoking. He then made Arcade smoke the entire box in one sitting as a punishment. Now, Arcade can’t stand the smell of cigarette smoke because of the incident.
Daisy keeps in touch with Old Lady Gibson. She sometimes tells her news on what Henry is up to these days.
All of them are awful at giving advice in their own special way. Judah and Daisy would somewhat miss the point, Johnson goes off into a tangent about his own life/What Mark Would Have Done if it was Arcade asking, Moreno would go off into a tangent about the ‘Good Old Days’, and Henry just wouldn’t care. Daisy is probably the best bet for advice in that she is 100% Supportive even if her advice isn’t the most useful.
Daisy’s hair was strawberry blonde when she was younger.
Arcade gets his nose and his blonde hair from his mom.
They used to move around very often when they first left the Enclave, the longest they stayed in a town was 3 weeks tops. They started to attempt to settle down when Arcade got a little older for his sake.
The Remnants were hesitant to completely explain to Arcade why they were always moving and running away from the NCR because they didn’t want to have him think bad about his dad or the rest of them. Johnson and Judah told him bits and pieces because they didn’t want to completely keep him in the dark and Arcade was somewhat aware of the situation just from observing the others but he didn’t know a lot of details about the Enclave or his father. He found out about the extent of the Enclave’s war crimes through stories/rumors other wastelanders told him before he finally got the full story about what happened to the Enclave from the remnants when he was a preteen.
Arcade used to ask Daisy if he could learn how to fly the vertibird for his birthday or Christmas when he was little.

Headcanon's on the NCR by any chance?
Ok anon, this is a really really broad question (because the NCR is a huge country with tons of diff cities and cultures in it- not to mention a large military which could be a post all on it’s own) so I’m gonna just write random headcannons that I like if that’s alright with you ^^’
Most of the NCR cities that we see in Fallout 1 and 2 are developed large cities by the time of New Vegas. Shady Sands is the largest city there
There isn’t much suburbia in the NCR, most people either live on farms, tiny isolated towns, or in the cities
None of the NCR territories have any representation in it’s congress (Vegas would end up in this boat in an NCR ending). The NCR also makes sure that all of it’s territories are completely dependent on the NCR economically wise. They also push out the locals so NCR citizens can settle in the land instead. Yeah, it’s Colonialism at its finest
In an Independent ending, the NCR would try to control the Mojave through trade/economics
Most people who are in the NCR’s army are from the farms and small towns. They either joined for the benefits/money or were drafted in there. Morale is very low in the army, especially in the Mojave (though I think we all knew that already lol)
The NCR has a lot of different types of agriculture just like pre-war California! It’s the Mojave’s main trader for produce, meat, and a lot of other stuff
A lot of the large ranches, caravans and companies are putting small farms and businesses out of business. This is partially because the government is supporting the large farms and raising taxes on all farms. A lot of people from the small farms either join the army or one of the large farms/caravan companies to make ends meet.
The NCR also has some small factories and manufacturing. They started to repair old Pre-War factories and also build new ones

How'd you think flagstaff (legion capital) would look like?
hmmmmm, I don’t think it’d be as big as Sandy Shades or Vegas but I think it’s the largest city in the legion if that makes sense? Because the city is based on an actual Pre-War city, it would have a similar structure to it (the actual Flagstaff is a relatively small city in the mountains)  but I’m really sure Caesar remodeled it to like like a Roman city.
There is no buildings that are more than 2 or 3 stories there
In the main part of the city the roads are cobblestone and there are grander buildings like Caesar’s residence, the homes of other major officials in the legion, a large temple dedicated to the Cult of Mars, a (heavily censored) library, and an Agora/marketplace for meetings
On the outskirts of Flagstaff are where common residences, farms and bunkers for the military are. Buildings are much simpler and the roads are dirt.
It actually has a relatively small population in comparison to most of the cities in the western wasteland. It’s large in terms of area, most of the population is the Legion Elite and some middle class people who moved there to open businesses and such. Oh. And their slaves. >:T
The temple and Caesar’s homes are the biggest buildings in the city. His home doubles as a headquarters for the government (which is just him and a couple of yes-men advisors/generals he trusts). During NV, while Caesar is gone he appointed a few advisors to run the city and it’s territories in his stead. He keeps in close contact with them.
Flagstaff has a manmade reservoir and aqueduct system that collects water from mountain snow and Upper Lake Mary outside the city. It’s only really meant for the city though. Other than around Flagstaff and the legion’s highways, it’s infrastructure is rather abysmal since Caesar neglects it in favor of military conquest. He only cares about how Flagstaff is kept up because he and his allies Live There.
There is a large military presence in Flagstaff (like the rest of the Legion)
Ok! And that’s what I have for Flagstaff, thanks for asking! ^^

How do you think Shady Sands in 2281 will look like?
It’s the capital and largest city of the NCR yes? I think it’s a well developed city- probably one of most developed cities in the wasteland! I’m gonna be building off that.
It houses the NCR’s congress building and Kimball’s place of residence. Not really sure if they say that the president works in the same building as the congress or not but I’m leaning towards that tbh.
Shady Sands has widespread electricity, and it is vital in energy distribution in the NCR. I think they talked about this a little in game- it’s why the NCR wanted Hoover Dam. They wanted another energy source for their power grid. They didn’t care about power for Vegas unless it benefits them.
Its a mostly urban planned city. It’s surrounded by lots of farms, residences and factories for brahmin meatpacking. It’s actually quite smaller in comparison to Large Pre-War cities. It’s rapidly expanding though- esp on the outside of it’s downtown district.
The biggest industries in the city are farming and brahmin meatpacking. It’s more of an industrial city. Government buildings are located near the center of the city.
There isn’t many skyscrapers in there. Most buildings are only a couple stories high.
It also has trolley car transit cause I Say So lol
It’s a lot more packed/busy near the outside of the city than the center of it
It has a lot of cultural diversity because people from all parts of the NCR and it’s territories flock there to live
lol that’s kinda all I have right now ^^, I hope that answers your question

Here’s a bunch of random Arcade Headcannons cause I have the need to write some of these down
Arcade’s dad died when he was 2
Arcade left the Enclave when he was 5 (I don’t think canon says when exactly he left), he left with his mom, Daisy, Judah, Moreno and Johnson.
Arcade’s mom died when he was 13. She got very ill and they couldn’t stay in a town long enough to get her the care she needed, this was before they met Henry.
The only object Arcade has from his parents is his mother’s wedding ring, he keeps it on a necklace.
Most of the knowledge Arcade has of the Enclave are from stories his family told him or from seeing their impacts in the wasteland. Arcade’s actual memories in Navarro are very fuzzy.
The Remnants tried their best to raise Arcade but being on the run all the time and dealing with their own issues meant that Arcade didn’t get all of the emotional attention he needed. He also felt pressured (which was mostly unintentional on his family’s part) to be like Mark and hold the group together at times.
The most vivid childhood memory he has from before they left the enclave is visiting the beach with his mom and Daisy.
Arcade was an incredibly curious and precocious kid. Sometimes his curiosity would get himself in trouble.
Yeah that’s about it for now lol, just some random backstory things. Who knows maybe I might make an analysis based off of these eventually?

I was just thinking about the implications of this one line again, 1. Arcade has a bunch of exes and he never stayed in a relationship because of his fear in confiding in them because of his association with the enclave. My personal guess is 10 ex boyfriends. Cause...why not lmao. He’s a bit of a disaster. 2. Arcade still talks to Daisy relatively frequently even after they all settled down and went their separate ways if she knows about his love life. Which is sweet. Now I want more content of Daisy being a mum to Arcade...

Misty’s take for today: Arcade would be a great parent
I already headcanon him to have a soft spot for kids- he initially comes off as awkward or nervous around people in general them, but once that wears off, he’s pretty good with kids. I mean it’s not even that far of a stretch to make, Arcade’s a very kind person that tries to treat everyone with respect and empathy.
On top of that, his biological parents died when he was young and his childhood wasn’t stable at all and the remnants (aside from Daisy) were never that emotionally present for him so I think he would want his kids to have a (mostly) normal upbringing with an emotionally present family
He’s just the “I am going to give you everything I didn’t have because you deserve the world” sort of parent,
