Miyoko has very wavy pitch black hair that reaches to her middle back with bangs dripping down her face. She inherited two beauty marks from her father, but they’re in different places. She wears a signature red Omamori earring on her left ear.

Her figure is rather “prepossessing” but she doesn’t give much attention to it. Plus, Nobara says she’s more of the cute type than the sexy type anyways.

🌸 Background 🌸

The daughter to the heads of the Omamori Clan; one of the minor sorcerer families. As a female heir Miyoko faces a lot of criticism outside her home, so she strives to become strong enough to do as she pleases.

🌸 Personality 🌸

Miyoko is what most childish, which she refuses to admit at times. But that just adds to her cute character, other than that, she’s very approachable & easy to get along with. So people often go to her if they need to be open, she will gladly lend an ear. Although she’s pretty emotional herself & likes going to Inumaki or Panda for cuddles.

Claims she is not “the little sister type” but she is. In fact, she’s such a big otaku that she sometimes interprets anime-related tropes into her speaking or descriptions of other things. Such as “the heroine,” “side characters,” etc.

In times of challenge she’s pretty confident, often going on about how “the incredible heroine never fails!” If a cursed spirit is involved or someone’s life in peril she will not hesitate to go all out: becoming surprisingly emotionless & scary. But if it’s school related then she won’t try at all, she’s that lazy.

🌸 Cursed Techniques + Other Abilities 🌸

+ Seal of Fortune: The inherited technique of the Omamori clan: the ability to manifest cursed energy in the form of Omamori cards. Each card drawn is different. However, the draw is completely random so it’s important to make use of your chances when in combat.

Purple (Protection) - Produces a protective shield of cursed energy around one’s self. Once activated the user doesn’t have to use cursed energy to keep it up but it is possible to break.

Gold (Wealth) - The summoning of a shikigami that has long since been bound to the Omamori family. Known as the Bakeneko.

Red (Education) - To see the opponent’s movements 20 seconds into the future.

Pink (Love) - To create clones of one’s self. Able to approach physically & give off cursed energy but can’t use cursed techniques. Plus they’re not very durable.

Orange (Traffic Safety) - Literally useless. She only uses it for driving. 😑

Black (Ward Off Evil) - The most powerful card as well as the rarest draw. Increases the levels of the user’s cursed energy dramatically, it’s basically a power up.

Play The Hand - A special technique invented by Miyoko, it allows her to draw one black Omamori card at will. But this technique burns a lot of cursed energy so she can only use it once per day.

+ Bōjutsu - Miyoko has mastered the art of the staff thanks to her mother. She is quite agile too so it helps to swing around with the bō.

🌸 Trivia 🌸

Her preferred anime genres are shōnen & fictional action.

She loves visiting Akihabara & Ikebukuro.

Her surname relates to the Japanese lucky charms, commonly sold at Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. They are said to provide various forms of luck or protection.

The Omamori Clan 🎋

One of the minor sorcerer families in Japan, but they are still plenty well respected. Especially since they rank just below the 3 Major Clans.

Gifted with the power of chance, something we as humans so desire, their technique Seal of Fortune is cherished among their lineage & even envied by outsiders.

Like most sorcerer clans, if there were more than one child it was most likely the eldest child would inherit the technique. However, it took a different turn as it was a daughter that took up the technique as well as the family name.

The most powerful ancestor known throughout the Omamori blood line, the Lady Fortune. The only female sorcerer that has inherited the Clan’s technique: there has never been another female heir until the birth of Miyoko.

Thus granting Miyoko the title of the Clan’s heir and as the next Lady Fortune. Miyoko is known very well throughout the rest of the clans because of this. However, due to traditional values, the Omamori deal with a lot of criticism for having a woman as heir.

Unsei Omamori

Age: 47

Cursed Technique: Seal of Fortune

Likes: Sake, dice games, & Ahmya’s cooking but mostly her motsuyaki

As head of the Omamori Clan, Unsei is quite prideful in his skills & powerful strength regarding his technique. While to the public he is prideful & rambunctious, he holds a deep sense of love for his family & proudly states how wonderful they are. However there are times his arrogance gets the better of him & his wife often keeps him in check.

Ahmya Omamori

Age: 42

Cursed Technique: Paper Doll - Resembling Washi Ningyo dolls, she is able to summon & control these little paper than can easily be hidden from sight. Making it useful for stealth & surprise attacks.

Likes: Origami, kaninabe, & doing her daughter’s makeup

Regal & strong willed, Ahmya is well known throughout the Jujutsu World not only for her husband but for her status as the 2nd head of her Clan. She was married into Omamori Family by her parents & despised Unsei for when they were younger, but seeing Unsei’s kind heart she eventually fell in love with him. As it was him that gave her a position & never saw her as an object nor trophy. However, a good smack to the neck often keeps him in line.

Kenji Omamori

Age: 15

Cursed Technique: Paper Doll

Likes: Omurice, pretty girls, anime

The second oldest: Kenji sees himself as a “handsome & reliable young man” but in reality he’s just a skirt chaser. However, he knows his mother & sister disapprove of this behavior so he often pulls the “innocent child” routine when they’re around. Despite this, he admires his eldest sister to an incredible extent, however he struggles knowing how sometimes he wishes he were born first.

Shō Omamori

Age: 13

Cursed Technique: Paper Doll

Likes: Daifuku, manga, video games

The youngest: Shō is often a very quiet & timid child who stand out in his rowdy family. He’s always had trouble making friends especially outside of his status so he’s often seen clinging to his brother or sister. Like Kenji, he admires his sister to a great extent but ends up following her like a lost little puppy. He doesn’t speak much, one might think he’s mute.

Miyoko’s Relationships

—Second Years—

Maki Zenin: Calls her the “cool big sister” & holds a strong admiration for her. Their relationship is mostly tough love but Maki really does care about Miyoko. But during their first year Maki was a lot meaner due to Miyoko’s freedom. Maki still envies that.

Toge Inumaki: She’s the most closest with him. He treats her like a little sister & she clings to him whenever Maki’s “being a bully.” A fun routine for them both is making onigiri together because when they first met Miyoko thought he was just hungry all the time.

Panda: She LOVES to cuddle him, all the time. It’s been made a habit for him to carry Miyoko on his back. He coddles her sometimes but knows how to console her moodiness.

Yuta Okkotsu: No doubt this boy had a crush on her at least once. She was just so sweet to him, it felt nice to be around her. Though just like everyone, Miyoko clings to him. However they’re both intimidated by each other.

—First Years—

Yuji Itadori: They’re both chill with each other and they both admire how strong the other is. However Yuji finds it refreshing to see a genuinely cheerful sorcerer.

Megumi Fushiguro: He doesn’t have much of an opinion on her but Miyoko tries to get him to lighten up from time to time. He’s not very good at smiling. 😅

Nobara Kugisaki: Miyoko won’t admit this to her face but she’s actually pretty scared of Nobara. Goes to Maki if she’s around but Nobara doesn’t seem to care all that much.

—Staff—

Satoru Gojo: She likes him enough as a teacher since he’s always so outgoing. He actually tries to help her keep goals in mind. “You want to be strong for others right? But what do you want?” That is the question he often asks.

Masamichi Yaga: Sees him as a strong & dependable principle but thinks his dolls are creepy.

Akari Nitta: Often calls her Ms. Nitta, they have a fun teacher-student relationship.
