DAIYA CHARACTERS AS DADS
Tumblr media
-> Father with the most humor. Loves making their children laugh. Whenever their child is sad, all they have to do is make a funny face, do a little dance with them, or even make a funny drawing, and that child is no longer feeling sad. Also, those types of dads that say "ya momma" to their kid (like that ain't his wife...) Truly one of the best kinds of father to have.
(kuramochi, SAWAMURA, kanemaru, narumiya, carlos, sanada, ryosuke)
-> Father with the scariest face, but the purest heart. These fathers may LOOK terrifying, but these men are gentle with their kids. The faces that they have may look like they are able to murder someone (they could) but they are like the neighborhood dads. They have their house open to everybody, as long as they respect it. They do have a bad side tho. So just watch it and there will be ZERO problems!
(TANBA, TETSUYA, kataoka, okumura, raichi)
-> Father that is scared, but loving. So scared to be a father. Now don't get me wrong, they LOVE their child/children. But the thought of not being good enough for them leaves them wondering if they are cut out for this. Yet, all of those worries wash away when their child/children are clingy towards them. Their child absolutely adores their father so damn much. They have the best bond with their children, a bond that will always be cherished

Tumblr media
滝川クリス優 TAKIGAWA CHRIS YŪ
⤷your biggest supporter I may add, he has a whole plan to help you with your workouts, eating plans, school, and everything.
⤷despite him being the manager of the baseball team he also makes a lot of time helping you and making sure you stay more in shape.
⤷chris would try his best to make it to all your games, even though you told him not to push himself to make all of them, he would still try.
⤷chris gives good criticism it helps a lot with your technique, it doesn't matter if you are a spiker or a defense specialist or even a setter, his advice can vary.
⤷but chris is like no other and you can you always count on chris to bring you stuff that you've forgotten or just bring you stuff that you need.
御幸 一也 MIYUKI KAZUYA
⤷miyuki schedule is very busy, and you rarely see him have free time, but just because he can't make your games doesn't mean he wouldn't watch it electronically.
⤷good thing your games could be streamed live so miyuki could watch it on the bus, he'll let you know that he's watching your game and do you best, and he likes to tease you and tell you if you make a mistake he's going to laugh, that sometimes gets him punched.
⤷he let's you workout with him, even though you give up 30 minutes in, your biggest coach and pushes you to be better than what you were yesterday.
⤷sometimes miyuki's criticism can come off quite blunt or harsh he still means well, he just wants you to be the best.
⤷but miyuki would surprise you by coming to one of your games in person.

AN INTERESTING THANKSGIVING
word count: 0.8k

show: ace of diamond
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Look at my baby," her mother smiled as Riku walked up to his grandma with a smile.
"Hi grandma," he giggled as she picked him up.
"How are you doing honey?" she placed small kisses on his cheek.
"Grandma," he whined with a laugh.
"Hi ma," she kissed her cheek and gave her a hug.
"Hi ma," Miyuki greeted her with a hug and peck on the cheek.
"Hello my darlings, I'm happy y'all made it," she smiled as [your name] placed the haitian macaroni on the table.
"I'm glad we made it here and safely as well, I was scared we were going to die on our way here the way [your name] was driving," Miyuki sighed as her mother began to laugh.
"Not only are you an amazing catcher, but you're a comedian as well I see," [your name] sarcastically replied as he snickered.
"Someone  sounds upset,"
"No, not at all," she gave him a fake smile as he continued to snicker.
When [your name] and Miyuki walked back to the dining room after washing their hands, they noticed that there was an empty seat with a purse on it next to her younger brother. She looked at the familiar purse and tried to figure out who it belonged to, and it hit her.
"Oh hell no," she muttered to herself as she watched her older sister take a seat in the chair.
"Ma, I thought you said she wasn't gonna make it tonight," she looked at her with a glare.
"I thought so too until she came knocking on my door this morning," her mother chuckled, taking her seat at the table.
"It's nice to see you too, little sister," her sister sarcastically replied, giving her a fake smile.
[your name] decided to ignore her as she grabbed Miyuki's hand and walked over to their spots at the table.
Rose-Marie also is known as [your name]'s older sister, she was someone she did not like at all. Despite them being family, [your name] did not care for her nor consider her to be her sister after what she tried to do two years ago. Two years ago when Rose-Marie didn't have anywhere to go after her breakup with her boyfriend, [your name] decided to be a good sister and let her crash at her place until she could land back on her feet. Unaware of her true intentions, [your name] thought she was doing something good. Slowly, she began to catch on to her sister. Her little flirtatious acts whenever Miyuki was around, asking him for help for things she clearly knew what to do, and unnecessarily touching him.
[your name] couldn't lie, every day she would try her best not to lose her cool. Miyuki would sometimes make fun of the situation stating that 'he's handsome, what would you think would happen?' and yes she would smack him in the back of his head because there was nothing funny about her sister trying to get with her husband.
But one day, she crossed the boundary when she purposely tried to seduce Miyuki who was trying his best to push her away from him. [your name] couldn't hold it in anymore, she got up from her chair and dragged her older sister by her hair while Miyuki quickly got up and followed her. He tried his best to pull her hand away, but her grip was too tight. [your name] kicked Rose-Marie out of her house and told her that she never wanted to see her again.
"I see some things never change," her brother hummed, grabbing his plate.
"This should be interesting," Miyuki whispered to him.
During the thanksgiving dinner, she noticed that her sister kept eyeing Miyuki and he felt a bit uncomfortable.
"I think some of us should keep our eyes on our plates, don't y'all think so?" she hummed, cutting the piece of turkey on her plate to hand over to her son.
"Why can't we observe what's on each other's plates? sometimes someone's plate has something packed in it," her sister retorted with a small smirk, eating the macaroni.
"I just find it funny how mama always has the same rat runnin' around her house every thanksgiving," she had a fake smile on her face.
"Funny how roaches love to pick on rats," her sister hummed, shaking her head.
"Funny how some people can't find their own man, so they choose to seduce a married man instead," she stabbed her fork into the turkey.
"Oops was that too obvious?" she looked at her with an innocent look as the table became quiet.
"Talk about a home run am I right?" Miyuki joked as [your name] glared at him.
"Relax, alright?" he whispered in her ear, placing his hand on her thigh and giving it a squeeze.
"What an interesting thanksgiving dinner," her younger brother cleared his throat while her mother smacked the back of his head.

≡ [ 𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐔𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐀 ] :: YOUR NAME
: ̗̀➛ EIJUN, the boy who finds himself saying your name like it’s his second language. He sees himself always gushing at how beautiful your name sounds when he says or thinks about it. To him, it feels like your name is a drug, a drug so addictive that he doesn’t think he could ever let go of. Your initials are signed on his mitt, your name is signed on his caps, your initials are written on both of his ring fingers. Eijun just feels close to you when he has something of yours close by, he’s at ease when he pitches and your initials appear on his fingers. Something so simple yet Eijun is so in love with it, a feeling of bliss when he hears your name and picture your perfect features popping up in his mind.
≡ [ 𝐊𝐀𝐙𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐌𝐈𝐘𝐔𝐊𝐈 ] :: LOVE SONGS
: ̗̀➛ MIYUKI, and love songs? Who would’ve known? I mean he has some in his playlist but not too much. Though, ever since he introduced himself to you and notices himself wanting to spend more time with you, when baseball isn’t in the way, love songs protrude in at random times. During games, Miyuki hums slow love songs that remind you of him. Miyuki lulling himself to sleep with a different song that you sent him. Though Miyuki doesn’t mind, it’s more than great to be strung closer to you with songs that speak on wanting to be around the perfect person.
BONUS: Miyuki has a self-ship playlist of songs combined with your playlist and his and would be absolutely embarrassed if someone found it.
≡ [ 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐔 𝐅𝐔𝐑𝐔𝐘𝐀 ] :: GIFTS
: ̗̀➛ FURUYA, a boy with very few expressions, unlike his teammate Eijun. Not to mention, he is absolutely clueless when it comes to love. However, he somewhat tries, still learning from his teammates. As he learns, Furuya realizes that he loves to gift you, he likes to get you your favorite candy or a small ring, no particular reason for it though. Maybe it’s his love language, who knows? Whilst, he recognizes that the deeper he falls into you, the more sentimental the gifts become from him. Small love letters, daily flowers picked out, or a nameplate necklace, of course, your name on it, made by the finest for your birthday. It doesn’t matter if the gifts hurt his pockets, Furuya doesn’t mind, the gifts hold a beloved place in his heart.

I looove ur Miyuki stories! Could you write mc getting a tattoo of his name? I think he would love it and find it so sexy!
omg hi love! thank you so much!
warnings: tattoos
miyuki kazuya x reader
permanent
your body rattled out of anxiety as you eyed the needle about to make contact with your skin. after pondering on this decision for days, you just figured to go with the flow, getting miyuki’s name just on the soft part of your wrist. you knew this was likely a bad idea, but you could get it removed anyways, right?
“it’ll take no longer than twenty minutes,” the tattooist assured you, “please just breathe and stay relaxed.”
you nodded hesitantly, and before you knew it you felt the soft prickles on your skin. you closed your eyes, trying to distract yourself from the pain and strategically steadied your breathing as to not to panic. after what felt like hours, the tattooist told you to open your eyes.
you peeked at your wrist, immediately falling into awe of how his name looked so pretty. it was black, and his name was written in a very elegant cursive manner. it wasn’t too big, in fact it was quite small, and you couldn’t wait to show it to miyuki later in the day.
“thank you so much!” you told the tattooist, giving him the money and a generous tip, “you’re very talented.” the tattooist bowed and said a couple thank you’s, and with that you headed home.
when you arrived, you could already smell food right outside of your apartment, knowing that it was miyuki cooking something for dinner.
“i’m home!” you exclaimed, setting your keys to the side. miyuki peeked out from the kitchen and waved, “welcome home. where did you go?” he asked, ambling towards you. you hid your hands behind your back and sneered at him, “oh, nothing.”
“what’s behind your back?”
with a grin, you pulled out your hand and showed him your wrist, in which he squinted at. when he realized what it was, his eyes widened but a frown appeared on your face, thinking that he didn’t like it.
“ah, it’s fake anyway,” you lied, “i’ll get it removed—”
your words were interrupted by him grabbing your other wrist and pulling you into him, his face in your neck.
“what are you saying?” he uttered, “those marks i leave you with every night aren’t enough to let people know you’re mine. don’t ever cover it up.”
a blush spread on your face, kind of turned on that he liked the new mark on your skin.

EEEEeee enjoy!

⤆ Back to Week of Fic’s Masterlist
Tumblr media
It’s hard to recall the moment you first fell in love with Miyuki Kazuya.
You were young, in your teens, navigating through highschool in the best way possible. He was just a mutual friend of yours; someone to just say ‘hey’ to  when you spoke to Kuramochi. You couldn’t quite remember what led to the two of you hanging out more and eventually going on a few dates, but you clearly remembered the emotions he elicited from you.
Being with him made all your problems fade to the background, it made you feel, believe, that you were on top of the world. Being in love with Miyuki Kazuya was an experience like no other. Yet, you weren’t his first love. You didn’t hold his heart like he did yours, and eventually the dates faded. He stopped making time for you, and you stopped pushing to be a part of his life. In hindsight, your issues could’ve been resolved with a simple conversation, but both of you were young.
So, instead of soft words explaining how neglected you felt, your feelings exploded into hurtful, sharp phrases that led to the demise of your relationship. Gone were the lingering touches in the hallways, the soft good luck kisses before a game, the playful teasing remarks between the two of you. He’d faded into a stranger, and when the both of you graduated high school, you stopped seeing him all together.
There were nights you would replay your relationship in your mind, you would linger on your regret of never mending the bridge between the two of you, because him leaving your life left a slight hole in your heart. Yet, the loudest part in your brain never failed to remind you that communication was a two way street, and that if he truly loved you, he would’ve fought for your relationship.
But that loud part of your brain didn’t stop you from scrolling though his Instagram feed in the late hours of the night. It didn’t stop you from lingering on the sports article that covered him going pro, and it definitely did not stop you from sinking into a deep funk when news broke of his engagement.
If you were honest, you felt a bit pathetic. You were still hung up on your highschool sweetheart, and he was about to get married.
Honestly, how pitiful could you get?
So, instead of holding onto your dead relationship, you allowed yourself to relive the emotions the relationship elicited out of you. You allowed yourself to come to the terms that while Miyuki was terrible at communication, you were too.
You both were too young, too immature,  for the seriousness of your relationship, and that was okay. It was okay that things didn’t work out. Sure, lighting doesn't strike twice in the same place, but you were too young to even realize that lighting had struck.  It was okay to have regrets because that’s how life was. It was rare to have the perfect conclusion to, well, anything, and with that realization you were finally able to move on.
As the years passed, you chased your passions. You attended culinary school, and graduated which eventually led to you opening your own local cafe. It wasn’t much, but it was your own warm little abode that you’d built from the ground up. It was a physical representation of your hard work, and you couldn't be more proud of it.
Through those years, you didn’t think much about Miyuki. You didn’t scroll through his feed for updates. When you saw a sport’s article with his name in bold letters, you’d turn away from it. He was a person of your past, and you were content with that. You didn’t need to know how he was doing, what he was up to, because you were over him.
Well you were over him until he walked into your coffee shop.
It was a normal winter day. The city streets have been recently plowed because of frequent snowfall; the air was bitingly cold, yet the warmth of your cafe brought in a decent amount of customers who couldn’t wait to get their daily fix of caffeine or sweet treat.
Your mind had been occupied with getting each customer served, that when you heard the familiar chime of the front door’s bell, you only called out a light greeting, not looking up from the cash register as you logged in the current customer’s order. Yet, when you lifted your head, mouth parting to recite your practiced greeting to the next customer, you felt the words die on your tongue.
Your eyes widened, gaze locking with bright amber eyes that you’d only seen in pictures over the past few years. Your heart speeds up in your chest, and it takes everything in you to still your shaking hands. Never in your life did you expect for him to waltz into your coffee shop, fixing you with that crooked smirk that always seems to make your thoughts stutter.
You blink once, then twice, before you allow a professional smile to spread onto your face.
“Well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes,” You greeted, head tilting as you hoped  that he didn’t notice the way your brain short circuited just moments before, “What can I get for you, Miyuki?”
“I hope you aren’t saying I aged bad,” He immediately responded, drawing out a soft giggle from you.
You shook your head, denying his claim, because no matter how much you did not want to admit it, he became even more handsome with age. You allowed your gaze to roam over his features as he gazed over the menu that hung above your head.
You noted how he’d grown just a bit taller, how despite years passing he somehow had the same style of black frames that he had in high school, and how his features seemed to be more pronounced. Before you could linger over his face any longer, you quickly snapped your gaze to the digital screen of your cash register, because you could not be caught checking out your high school ex.
“What do you suggest?” You hear him ask, and you lick your lip as you thought about your answer, recalling the seasonal drink options and your usual menu.
“Well, what are you in the mood for?” You eventually respond, turning your gaze back to the man on the other side of the counter, “If you’re feeling festive we have an array of cinnamon or ginger based drinks, yet if you’re a fan of more simple drinks, we have your basic cappuccinos and lattes.”
Shifting your stance, you watch as he mulls over your response, eyes still firmly locked on the menu before he waved his hand in an indifferent manner.
“Just make me your favorite drink.”
You nod, immediately logging in the order, refusing to allow yourself to think too deeply about the request. He was just here to get coffee. He was just another customer. He was just Miyuki.
After you told him the total and he paid, you began to work on his drink. You ignored the way he seemed to watch you buzz around behind the counter. You refused to glance at him again. No, you solely focused on the task at hand.
Once you finished his order, you handed it to him over the counter, ignoring the slight sting of electricity that shot up your arm as your fingers brushed against each other. You watched as he brought the cup to his lips before taking a small sip of the drink, eyes fluttering shut briefly before they met your gaze once again.
“Oh this is good,” He mummers, and you open your mouth to explain what's in the drink, yet he holds up his hand to stop you.
“I don’t need to know what’s in it.” He explains, causing your brows to furrow in confusion.
“But how will you order it again if you don’t know what it is?”
Miyuki is quiet for a moment, bright eyes roaming over your face as he leans against the counter, “How often are your shifts here?”
You blink at the question, a bit confused at what he was getting at, “Uh, I’m here nearly everyday.”
The smirk that spreads onto Miyuki’s full lips and it lets know that you’d fallen for something, yet you’re still unsure of exactly what that something is.
“Perfect, then you’ll just have to take my order every time I come, right?” He chirps, taking another sip from his coffee cup.
“Um,” You begin to say, but before a full sentence leaves your lips, he’s already bidding you goodbye, leaving just as fast as he came.
Throughout the rest of your workday, you’re plagued with thoughts about Miyuki and why on earth did he come to your cafe. Fuck, how did he even find out about your cafe. You attempted to push the thoughts away from your mind, yet they still plagued you even after you’d closed.
The next day, Miyuki comes into your coffee shop again, but this time he lingers.
It was a slower day for the cafe; your usual morning rush wasn’t that heavy so you knew who he was the moment the bell chime rang through the nearly empty coffee shop. Immediately, you began to go through the process of making his drink, handing it to him as you began to ring him up.
“Slow day, innit?” He commented, and a small smile played onto your lips.
“Yeah, but that gives me more time to do other things besides just making drinks,” You responded before telling him the price of his drink.
He handed you the exact amount of money you’d said, causing your brows to raise in slight surprise, but you don’t comment on it. Instead of leaving right after he received his coffee, he remained in your cafe, eyes lingering on your form as you cleaned up your work space.
He asked you questions, seemingly catching up with all of the things he missed in the years you’d grown apart, and fuck did this puzzle you. Why on earth did Miyuki just randomly breeze back into your life? Why was he behaving as if the last conversation the two of you held didn’t end in scathing words and tears?
You wanted to ask him this, to demand answers on how he learned about your little cafe, but you didn’t, you couldn’t. You were afraid of the answers to those questions, and seeing him again, even for a few minutes, brought a sense of peace in your life.
When you gazed into his amber eyes, you felt as if it was the very first time you’d seen him all those years ago. You’d missed the banter he brought, you missed his jeering, you missed him. You wished you could press rewind on the clock, to go back to the very moment of your relationship’s demise, yet you couldn’t.
Besides, you were getting ahead of yourself. To him, you were sure he just viewed this as catching up with an old classmate. He was happily engaged, and just engaging in a purely friendly conversation. At least, you thought he was engaged until he informed you that he’d broken off the engagement nearly a year ago. You don’t have much time to respond to him after this confession, because he’s wishing you a goodbye.
Yet, just like the day before, your thoughts are riddled with him.
You can’t help the bubble of curiosity in your chest. Did he seek you out for a sense of familiarity after a failed engagement? Was it purely chance that he’d walked into your cafe? You didn’t know, and frankly you were slightly afraid of the answer, but you knew that you needed to ask him these questions.
It takes weeks for you to build up the courage to ask him the questions that swarmed in your mind the moment he left your eyesight.
Sure, he still came to your cafe, ordering the same thing nearly everyday, engaging you in light conversation topics that filled in the gaps of the years you’d miss of his life. He told you about university, about the pro league, about how he was in general. Yet, his engagement was never brought up.
He’d ask you about your life, and you’d found yourself telling him about it rather candidly. You told him about the slight funk you fell into after graduation (of course you didn’t tell him the reason for the funk), about culinary school, about opening the cafe.
The unspoken questions linger in the air between the two of you, and though you find yourself tentatively growing closer to the man that visited your coffee shop nearly everyday, there was something actively holding you back from him.
So, when he walked through the door of your cafe after nearly a month of being your number one customer, you decided that this is the day that you’d ask the questions that’d been causing you to keep him at arm's length. You fall into the routine of fixing his drink, and as you hand it to him, instead of giving him your usual playful greeting, a question falls from your lips in a jumbled up mess.
“How on earth did you find out about my cafe?”
Miyuki’s gaze widens behind those black frames, and his usual smirk is dropped from his face. The pair of you look at eachother, minds filling with unspoken words, and the nearly empty cafe is so quiet that you’re sure he can hear your heart hammering away in your chest.
“How about we talk about this after you close?” He offers, and you nod as he paid for his coffee (the exact amount of cash like always), and bid you farewell.
The rest of your day is spent in an anxiety induced haze, until you’re flipping the open sign closed. Nursing a cup of your favorite warm beverage, you wait for Miyuki at one of your window seats and a mere five minutes pass before he’s walking into the cafe, discarding his snow littered coat. He sits beside you, thanking you for the drink you’d prepared for him as well.
The two of you are quiet, unsure where to start. Years of tension hang in the air, and you can feel your leg begin to bounce out of sheer nervousness. You hear Miyuki chuckle softly and your eyes shift to his grinning face. You raise a  singular brow in question, and he shakes his head.
“It’s just funny how you still do that,” He comments, and you then halt your bouncing leg, soft laughter breezing through the warm air of the cafe.
“You know what they say,” You responded, facing him fully with a soft smile, “Old habits die hard.”
Miyuki’s grin melts into a smile that mirrors your own, and just a bit of the tension dissipates. You open your mouth to apologize for the rather random question that led the both of you to your current position, yet before you can even utter a word, he begins to tell you about the events that led him to your cafe.
He told you about how devastated your breakup left him, about how you broke his heart, about how he knew he broke your heart as well. He tells you about how thoughts of you plagued his mind all throughout your time apart, about how he yearned for a simple “do over.” Then, he begins to tell you about his  engagement. A part of you wants to tell him to stop, because you don’t want to hear about the man you’d loved for years falling in love with another person.
Yet, you allow him to continue because he needs to get this off his chest, and you need to hear it.
You listen to him as he recounts the engagement, at how the relationship deteriorated into something toxic simply because he refused to let go of his love for you. Your hands began to shake around your coffee mug as you listened to him admit that the reason called off his engagement was because of you.
You nearly begin to cry.
You don’t know what to think, what to say.
A part of you wants to throw your arms around him, to weep into his chest about how much you missed him, but another part needs him to finish recounting his tale. So you anchor yourself to your seat, encouraging him to continue.
Finally, he tells you about how he heard about your little cafe. He tells you about how Kuramochi mentioned it in mere passing when they were catching up, and about how he couldn’t resist seeing you again.  By now, your heart is beating so heavily in your chest, that it’s nearly hard to breathe.
Here he was laying his heart out bare for you to judge, to even reject. He wasn’t the boy that you’d turned your back on all those years ago. He didn’t brush off your questions with jokes, no, he answered them truthfully.
He was being vulnerable with you, and never in a million years would you have expected Miyuki Kazuya to approach you with his heart in his hands. You exhale shakily, hands removing themselves from your now cool mug, before you placed a soft hand over his larger one.
“Kazuya,” You breathed out, facing him fully, if he could bare his heart to you, then you could do the same, “I never stopped loving you.”  Your confession fills the air between the two of you, and your hand squeezes his closed fist that rested on top of the table.
“Even after all these years, Kazuya,” You whispered to him,“I’m still in love with you.”
A mere second passes before his lips are on yours, and the same electricity you felt clap through your body from your very first kiss with him, strikes through you. Goosebumps littered your forearms as you melted into his embrace, pressing your body even more closer to his.
Apparently, lighting did strike in the same place twice.

request: “can I get one of your pregnancy imagines for miyuki kazuya?”
miyuki kazuya x fem! reader
fandom: ace of diamond / daiya no ace (requests open!)
You had known Miyuki through high school. The two of you weren’t necessarily friends but you ran in the same circle. You thought he was cute and he had to admit that you were cute as well.
Your last year at Seidou was wrapping up. You were in the same grade as Miyuki so when you received an invitation for a party that Kuramochi was holding, you knew you had to go.
The party was filled with the entire first string baseball team as well as a few other third years. You wondered how the hell the team got liquor inside of the dorms but you didn’t question it as Kuramochi had immediately poured you a shot of whiskey.
Everyone was mingling with each other before you realized that a round of flip cup was about to happen. You took the chance and asked for a partner to go against Kuramochi and some other girl.
“I’ll go.” You heard Miyuki say as he approached you. “As long as we win, I don’t have a problem but I have no idea how to play.”
You laughed as you started to speak, “It’s easy! We have to lay as many cups as we want, making sure both sides have the same amount. We have to chug them all back and in order to win, we have to flip all of the cups before they do. Understand? No matter if someone throws up or spits it out, the other team has to continue to drink.”
The three of them nodded as Kuramochi set out six cups on both sides. Knowing you had a few rounds of flip cup under your belt, you knew it would be an easy win.
Haruichi nervously poured the beer inside of the cups before blowing the whistle. The music indicated the the game had started. You immediately started chugging back the beers as Miyuki tried to keep up. You were already on your third cup before you nudged MIyuki to hurry up.
Just as Miyuki finished, the two of you started to flip the cups. The beer making you kind of dizzy didn’t help but as you finished, you heard Kuramochi’s partner spitting up some of the beer.
“WE FINISHED!” You screamed as you hugged Miyuki hard. “Anyone willing to take up on the challenge may step up now!”
Sawamura stepped up with Haruichi trailing behind him. Miyuki couldn’t help but laugh at the awkward pair. Kuramochi poured the eight cups before he blew the whistle. This time they added an extra cup as Sawamura insisted on it.
For it being Sawamura’s first time, he was chugging them back really well. Haruichi was the one falling behind so as you were flipping your cups, Sawamura was trailing behind you. Miyuki flipped his final cup as Sawamura started to sulk.
Being that it was both of yours seventh beer, the tipsiness turned into blacked out drunk. You were holding the boy by the arm as he tried to keep himself upright.
“I need to get back to my dorm!” You slurred as he nodded. “This hangover won’t be fun but I also want to keep drinking!”
Miyuki snatched one of the few remaining bottles of scotch as the two of you snuck away to your dorm. From that moment on, the two of you downed the entire bottle and the rest of that was history.
Your four year old son had woken you up by jumping on the bed. You had bought the two of you a pair of tickets to see the Softbank Hawks. It was your sons favorite team and ironically enough, the team his father played for.
You found out you were pregnant with Miyuki’s baby not too long after the fateful party. Your period was never late and the following month, it was and you just knew that you were pregnant. You had been talking with Miyuki before you completely ghosted him. Was it wrong? Yes but you had no other choice.
“Mom! Come on! We should leave early!” Your son said as he continued to jump on your bed. “The stadiums always get packed before the game!”
You couldn’t help but laugh at your son. He had the same exact features as Miyuki. Down to the glasses and anyone who went to school with you and seen your son immediately knew that it was Miyuki’s son. Being that you still lived in the area, a few people noticed but none of them said a word.
Slowly but surely, you got your son to eat before heading out the door. The drive to the stadium wasn’t too far but the nerves were bubbling up inside of you.
Seeing the sights and hearing the sounds of a baseball game made you a little emotional. There was a reason why the two of you ran in the same circle. You loved baseball and after you had your son, you stopped watching. The mention of his father got to you almost all the time so when you heard his name while your son was watching a game, you cringed every time.
Your son was starting to practice for a local team although he didn’t become a catcher. He was the all star pitcher and you knew that if you had stayed with Miyuki, he would have laughed at it. Pitchers were always so needy.
The two of you got into your seats as the warm ups were starting. Miyuki still wasn’t out on the field but you knew he would get there eventually. Your son was supporting his jersey as you were dressed in a simple black v-neck and ripped jeans.
The in stadium announcer began to list off names as they came on the field. You knew Miyuki would be coming soon and just before you knew it, the name was called off and your son went insane. You gave him a small smile but internally, memories flowed harshly.
The 1st inning started and you sat there watching it but barely. Every time Miyuki got on screen, your heart fluttered. He was still as attractive as he was in high school
Innings came and went and before you knew it, the seventh inning stretch came in. They were showing random families in the crowd. You and your son had made it on the screen as he was dancing on his chair. You gave the camera a small wave before it changed.
Miyuki was looking at the camera as he seen the different families. His heart immediately stopped as soon as it changed. A few of his teammate were asking what was wrong but he just knew that he was looking at a splitting image of himself.
The game was already long gone from his head. He managed to play the rest of it but he asked security to find your seat. He had to know.
The game had finished but you were waiting for the stadium clear before heading out. Your son had fallen asleep on the chair and you knew that you were going to have to carry him back to the car.
“Hey.” You heard a voice behind you.
You turned around to see who it was. Your heart immediately fell to your stomach as you held your son tighter. Your throat went dry as you couldn’t muster up a sound.
Miyuki looked at you expecting an answer but nothing was said. He went down on his knee to look you in the eye, “How?”
“How does a child happen?” You asked sarcastically as he rolled his eyes. “What do you mean how?”
He growled, “This is not a joke. You’re holding a child that looks eerily similar to me as a kid. He’s wearing glasses and even styles his hair the same way. When is the question I should be asking.”
You sighed as you silently thanked the air that no one was around you anymore. Your son stirred in your arms as you shushed him back to sleep.
“The night we all went the 3rd year party. Remember we went back to my room and stole a bottle of scotch on our way out? That’s when and how.” You said trying to keep your voice in tact. “I had him not too long after we graduated. Why do you think I didn’t walk the stage or even show up the last few months?”
Miyuki stared at you, “And you couldn’t tell me? This is my son! You should have at least told me you were pregnant! We could have worked something out!”
“You don’t get to tell me shit. You were off to the pros and what? I was supposed to be waiting on my hands and knees for you to get back? God knows what you could have been doing on the road and if memory serves correctly, you were in no state of mind to be caring for a child!” You argued back. “In high school, all you were worried about was baseball and making it to the pros! You were so self centered back then!”
Miyuki sat down on one of the benches, “Now what? I know he’s mine so what?”
“That’s all up to you, Miyuki. Whether you get to be in your sons life is up to you.” You admitted. “He plays baseball now. He’s a pitcher and the ace of his team but I suggest you make up your mind quick. I can handle the pain again but he doesn’t deserve this. We don’t need to get back together but if you want to be in your sons life, that’s all on you.”
He grabbed your son from your hands as he stood up, “I’m not leaving now. What kind of father would I be to abandoned the only son I have?”
You nodded as he continued to speak, “Where’s your car? I’m walking you there but don’t expect to be single for too long. I always hated the fact that you were so close with Okumura.”
You rolled your eyes again as the two of you started to walk out of the stadium. He was holding your son with the tightest grip possible. He was not letting you or his son walk away again. Not while he was alive.

Summary:
In this universe, you don’t meet your perfect match by happenstance. You’ve grown up with them, maybe not physically, but they’ve always been there. In your mind. Speaking to you.
In this universe, humans are not the most powerful, and there’s pockets of our world that lead to the other. To the fae. And there’s so much more to them, than can ever be understood.
Eijun and Youichi. They stand upon the divide.
Very rarely, a matched pair is an untoward coupling between the courts. As the reader must know, having read the previous section, the fae courts have never gotten along, though grudging alliances have been known to form. However, above the machinations of the four seasons, are the matched pairs.
Traditionally, the mismatched pair is accepted by their respective courts, but history has shown that these fae soon become untethered. Not much is known about these pairs as they often disappear into obscurity soon after their coupling.
However, the only pairing that is even further misunderstood is that of the matches from outside the courts. The topic is taboo among the fae, thus very little has crossed over into our world, even as we are the ones helping the problem.
See appendix B for information on deaths from mismatched pairings.
An excerpt from the codex of “Faerie Courts and the Matched” by Tanba Kouichirou (153 BC)
The branches of the trees around them shook joyfully, letting leaves fall gracefully down to their final resting place on the forest floor. Their normal path would be to eventual decay, to feed the earth with the nutrients they’d been collecting and storing for months. However, a few of these leaves would be taken by some small woodland creatures as food, some as protection from the fluctuating weather patterns – an emotional fae changed the forest within moments.
And yet some didn’t get used naturally, but in this case, froze to the very ground they had fallen onto. As the gentle but purposeful placement of slipper-covered feet brushed against the ground, the ice spread, covering more and more of the ground. But at no point did the chill touch the surrounding trees, only freezing the dead leaves. Emotional control wouldn’t be something that Satoru would be known for, not now and not in the future – his aura burnt fiery and cold. However, with a hand clenched tightly in his own, he found enough discipline to restrict his powers, even the slightest.
It helped that for every step he took, Haruichi’s own powers acted to soothe the agitation by growing small plants in every frozen space. He had been alive a bit longer than Satoru and had learnt to keep his powers under a tight hand. His brother would not have allowed for anything less than perfection. So he fixed the issue, internally apologizing to every woodland creature that had to keep their distance because of Satoru, but he couldn’t blame his matched, it had only been three sun-moon cycles since his birth.
But now, with Eijun’s blessing, Haruichi felt a small part of him relax. He could tell that his relief was apparent on his face, but for once in his life, he put little stock into what others could glean from his facial expressions. He knew how much it had hurt Eijun to go day after day without talking to his own matched, it had hurt Haruichi even now to think of the day, the seasons, that he’d gone without being able to speak to Satoru. But he, himself, was only a few decades of cycles old, which compared to the centuries that Eijun had been alone, was almost impossible to understand. He knew that if it had been any other fae who’d been alone for this long, they might not have been able to hold on for so long. But Eijun was strong, one of the strongest he knew. If there was anyone who could hold on for this long, it would be him. But even then, every time he’d seen Eijun, it seemed like the bags under his eyes grew, and the weight that rested in his shoulders pushed him even further down. But it wasn’t till he saw how pale Eijun looked, the fae was normally a beautiful golden tan from his time spent outside, that he actually became concerned.
Pale was only a step above translucent.
He was jolted out of his somber thoughts by a pleasant hum rushing into his mind. Still hearing the light warbling in his head, he glanced to his right to see a small blush bloom of Satoru’s face. Smiling to himself, he began humming out loud in conjunction with the song Satoru was thinking at him, and felt a similar pink tinge growing on his face. Both had come to a pause in their walking, and Haruichi found himself glancing up at Satoru’s face, eyes roaming over the pale skin, the crystalline blue eyes that were just a bit warmer than they had been back at Eijun’s house – he blushed again at the meaning behind the warmth. Frost-tipped ears that were flecked with navy peaked out from between his hair, making him frown slightly. What had seemed so unique and beautiful a moment ago, now only heightened the differences between them, and the chasm this created. He could tell when his thoughts had crossed over to his facial expressions, when Satoru squeezed his hands gently. Shaking his head he smiled down at their joined hands.
They would have continued staring at each other happily had they both not sensed a change in the air around them. The drop in temperature couple with a few of the weaker plants curling in on themselves. Well attuned ears were able to hear the approach of another pair from behind them. Instinct made him drop Satoru’s hand, instead, stepping in front of his matched. His eyes glinted sharply as he stared at the trees that disguised the nearing fae. Vines slowly began creeping up from the ground, wrapping around his torso gently, both as protection and to stabilize him should he have to fight. He could hear Satoru in his head, whispering assurances of his safety and updates of the environment around them.
But neither he nor Satoru were ready his vines to shudder, and then fall off his body. He watched, with wide eyes, as they turned a dusty green, then a chalky brown before withering away. Immediately whipping his head up, he noticed the couple had begun approaching them. Both were dressed similarly, in comfortable tunics and trousers, though he noticed that only the fae on the left was wearing slippers, the other wore nothing on their feet, much like himself.
They had to have been the one who killed Haruichi’s vines.
He noticed the nearly pearlescent ear tips, and incredibly pale face of the slipper-wearing fae, and the almost ashy complexion and dusty grey tips of the other one. Peering at Satoru, he could see that he’d come to the same conclusions. This was Kazuya and Nori. Another mismatched pair.
Feeling a bit presumptuous for even thinking of attacking the older pair, he slipped into a bow, bringing his hands up from his sides, one resting on his heart, the other going behind him to lie parallel with his hips. Speaking frantically in his mind to Satoru, he beseeched his matched to also bow, but unsurprisingly, he was refused. Instead he watched as Satoru drew himself up to stand at his full height and step in line with Haruichi, and greeted them with simply a nod.
A conversation between the pair must have occurred, as rather than taking an offence to Satoru’s lack of manners, they both smiled and nodded their head back towards the alcove of trees they’d exited from.
Well saying they were smiles would be a polite, only one of them could really be counted as a real smile - the other had been a step to the left from smile, and would more likely be categorized as a smirk.
Sharing a bemused look with Satoru, they both followed behind the other two fae, still keeping their guard up, even if Haruichi trusted Eijun’s judgement implicitly. He could feel the branches of the trees around him straining to reach over and brush against him comfortingly. With an easy tug, he let his power go a little, allowing it to spread around his body and soothe the agitated foliage.  When they began swaying from the energy he was feeding them, he couldn’t help the gentle smile that spread across his face.
When Satoru squeezed his hand, he grinned brighter, sending the joy he received from the plants over to his matched. Satoru wouldn’t be able to feel the plants happiness himself, but Haruichi could share the sensation with him. The resulting soft look he received meant that his emotions had been understood. Neither noticed that Nori and Kazuya had paused in front of them, remaining silent as they watched the feat of power that Haruichi demonstrated with an ease that belied his actual strength.
Trees rarely reacted to the emotions of a fae the way these were – they were reaching down to almost cradle Haruichi in their branches. But glancing at his ears explained much more than he could ever say himself. The tips were a deep shade of green, nearly approaching black in how dark they were.
Eventually Haruichi’s conversation with the plants were over, and he blushed a bright red as he realized that he’d held up everyone in his excitement. Bowing apologetically at the pair, he then looked over at Satoru to not see any annoyance, but instead, simply gentle awe. He blushed brightly as Satoru then proceeded to make his amazement known by mentally speaking to him.
Tugging at their joined hands, he began quickly walking to keep up with the walking fae. Eventually they reached a small break in the trees, and he could sense that some of the trees had been none too gently encouraged to grow away from the alcove. This set his teeth on the edge, but knowing Nori was the reason, he figured it had been done as gently as the fae could handle. They made their way towards a simple dwelling, a small hut tucked away in between a pair of imposing oaks. He could feel the gentle emotions pulsing from the trees and knew they had been taken care of especially well. The energies buzzing from them made his skin tingle, and he couldn’t help but laugh slightly as they spoke to him through sharp pulses and spikes in their aura. Still, he had to keep moving, even if he wanted to spend more time outside with the trees.
Making their way inside after Kazuya opened the door for them, Haruichi kept his guard up slightly, no longer as attuned to the forest once he was inside a building. He watched the easy grace that the other matched fae had as they moved around each other, preparing tea and grabbing extra cushions to sit on. The short laughs and easy smiles were the only indication that there was any conversation occurring.
He wanted to let Nori and Kazuya begin the conversation, focussing on getting comfortable in the house. Eventually though, he could feel that Satoru’s patience was running out with the building tension in the room. Reaching out to place a hand on his waist, Haruichi squeezed lightly before speaking.
His voice was soft and hesitant, but the more he spoke, confidence began unfurling in his chest. “Nori...Kazuya, why did you seek us out?” He knew the answer already, but he wanted to hear if their thought process was the same as his. He waited patiently, scanning their faces to pick up cues from their body language. Even with the relaxed atmosphere of their home, he noted that Nori was much easier to read, for their soft eyes gave away more than the guarded look in Kazuya’s.
They did seem to come to some agreement, as Nori rested a hand on Kazuya’s shoulder and received a jilted nod. Haruichi had never personally spoken to either fae beforehand, so he wasn’t expecting the smooth voice that came from Nori, for the fae was often considered to be skittish and hesitant. And he noted that even with the calm tones, Nori’s face did develop its characteristic blush which bloomed along the cheekbones.
“Haruichi... and Satoru correct?” They both nodded. “It’s obvious isn’t it? You’re now in the same boat as us; as the humans say. And when Eijun sent me a message, we thought it would be a good idea to find you.” Nori nodded at Kazuya, allowing the other fae to take over.
“I don’t know if you realized Haruichi, having been trained by your brother for so long, but Winter fae need to be trained soon after their awakening.” Kazuya’s hand came up to rest under his chin, smirking as he spoke, but his eyes showed that he meant no harm in his words, only testing the waters between them. So he nodded, he had learnt very little about the other Courts, the information guarded jealously. “When you went to visit Eijun, did your powers get out of control Satoru?” At that Kazuya’s eyes trained solely on Satoru, with Haruichi himself also tilting his head to face his matched. At the slow nod, they both shared a glance before looking back at Kazuya.
The fae simply chuckled, and leaned in towards Nori more and nodded, pulling a small smile from them. Haruichi raised an eyebrow slightly, confused as to what could be so funny.
“Eijun must have been using his powers subconsciously around him, otherwise his house might have dropped in temperature – which he cannot handle. That idiot, for all his strength and power, is even more sensitive to the cold than most. I saw the carnage you left on the ground in the forest Satoru, you need to train. But with things as they are,” Kazuya waved a hand between him and Satoru, pulling frowns on both of their faces. “It might be hard for you to meet with one of the Court now, but I guess I could pull myself from my busy schedule to help you?”
Haruichi’s eyes widened slightly, knowing what a privilege it was to be taught by Kazuya. He had been one of the Winter’s strongest before Nori’s awakening. He sent his surprise to Satoru, hoping his matched would understand the honour he was being offered. But it wasn’t necessary, as Satoru was already standing, and bowing deeply, mimicking his own bow from earlier.
Kazuya chuckled, stood up and walked towards the doorway. “First things first, we need you to bow like a Winter fae, not like a gentle-Vernal.” Kazuya winked back at him, chuckling once more.
Haruichi scowled lightly at the tease, but his lips turned upwards slightly as Satoru happily followed, eager to learn. But now he was stuck alone with Nori, and while the older fae made him slightly uncomfortable, he refused to let that stop Satoru from learning under Kazuya. Sending his luck with Satoru, he settled himself further into the cushion, trying to soothe the nervous energy coursing through his body.
He could feel plants beginning to peek between the floorboards, and sighed to himself. Trying to rein in his powers, he was suddenly surprised to see the plants withering and dying. Glancing over, he saw Nori gently smiling at him, even as their fingers twirled slightly to deal with the plants he was growing. Tilting his head, Haruichi went to speak, but was instead beaten by Nori.
“I know it feels like you can’t trust me Haruichi, and seeing our opposing powers, I would be surprised if you did off the bat. However, I’m sure Ryousuke taught you the importance of choosing your allies well? He was never one to follow the Court rules after all.” Nori reached to the side slightly to press one of their hands down on the vine that was creeping through the wall.
Haruichi’s eyes tracked the fae’s movements, learning and imbibing every bit of information he could from this encounter. Nori didn’t immediately cause it to die as the other plants had. Instead, Nori seemed to encourage only the part that was growing inside to die, but Haruichi could sense that the vines growing up the side of the house were still flourishing. He quickly realized what Nori was trying to make him understand. Guarded, but open. Careful, but willing.
It made him remember the words his brother had told him on a daily basis as he had grudging taught Haruichi everything about the Vernal Court and their powers.
“Haruichi, just because you’re my brother doesn’t mean anything. You need to keep yourself guarded and open at the same time. Otherwise, the fae will eat you for breakfast. Myself included.”
Closing his eyes slightly, he grew a large yellow daffodil in the ground in front of him, putting extra care to make it grow in the small patch of exposed ground rather than through the floorboards. With a careful look, he stroked the petals slightly, before plucking it gently from the ground and handing it to Nori. He could see the calculating look in Nori’s eyes, but did his best to remain as open and simple as he could. When the fae finally took the flower from him, but didn’t immediately decompose it, he smiled weakly.
Blushing, he allowed his hair to cover his face a bit as he spoke softly. “Thank you. Both to Kazuya and to you, Nori.” Lifting his head a little, he laughed a little, “I guess I better go tell Eijun that he was right, you were both of help!”
Seeing a similar smile on Nori’s face, but more importantly the hesitance that had been in the older fae’s eyes disappear, he smiled back. And then they both laughed, knowing the boisterous reaction that Eijun could have at the news. Standing up together, he gestured towards the door, wanting to go see Satoru and Kazuya train together, having rarely had the opportunity to watch Winter magic, and also to learn a bit about his new ally...no, his new friend.

Amount of sleep: 6-7 on weekdays, 10-11 on weekends. My body can't lay down for more than 10 hours, it just hurts.
Lucky numbers: Supposedly 10 is my lucky number and I agree. 14 seems to be good recently.
What I'm wearing: As I'm writing this: Light blue, long sleeved shirt, black jeans and black hoodie. Going to school!
Dream trip: Japan, of course. The whole of England and Ireland. Canada.
Dream job: Not gonna lie, I don't have a specific one. If I ever learn how to properly write and draw I'd love to create my own comic or a story because my head is going to explode with the amount of ideas I have, hence the name of my blog. I'm working on one right now but it's a very slow process. But currently I'm aspiring to be a vet. I love animals and I want to help them when they need it. I just need to be less lazy and work harder starting this year!
Do you play instruments: Nope! I wish I could at least know how to play a guitar. (´∀`;)
Languages: Polish 'cuz I'm polish! English, constantly praised for my skills in it even though I feel like I'm mediocre. Russian, I started 3 years ago but only now my new teacher is able to explain it well to me. I'd like to learn some good ol' welsh or irish. I just find it interesting. I'd also like to try japanese. I feel like talking will be no problem. But there's still writing and reading~
Favorite songs: Flamingo - Kenshi Yonezu, Play Me Like a Violin - Stephen, Classic - MKTO, Youngblood - 5 Seconds of Summer, Ribcage - Andy Black, The Ballad of Mona Lisa - Panic! At the Disco, Crawling - Linkin Park, Metallica 808 - Taconafide, Unbroken - MELOVIN
Random fact(s) about me: I really don't know what to put here. (´∀`;) Okay: 1. I've dyed my hair red just to be more like my fave anime character Kagami Taiga. Turns out that having red hair suits me and makes my skin 'glow' and not look pale. So it wasn't a bad decision in the end! Now I just dye my ends red. 2. I enjoy memes that I find funny, but when I see my buddies' meme folders I think that they're weird. Usually later on I find that those are the hottest memes right now. I don't get it. I don't get new memes. 3. I'm an introvert so making any contact is really stressful for me. I don't have many friends and I don't go out that much even though I want to. I'm working on building up my confidence, it's definitely better than it was a year ago for example. 4. I'm bisexual! And I proudly present it to the world! ♡ 5. I listen to a lot of japanese stuff yet I still can't speak it. I like singing in japanese when I have the romaji lyrics. 6. I have 5 anime boys that I consider my sons: Miyuki Kazuya, Yuri Plisetsky, Otabek Altin, Killua Zoldyck, Ryugazaki Rei. Weird, I know. I say that because all of them represent some parts of my personality so they seem relatable to me. My husband is Isshiki Satoshi by the way.
Describe yourself as things: punk boots, old books, empty sketchbook ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the heat from the sun burned his skin as he sat there in the crowd watching the game. he wasn't sure why he was here at a softball game, but he was here anyways. it wasn't like he was doing anything back at the dorm anyways.
"out!" miyuki looked at the female catcher as she took her helmet off.
"wow she can throw!" he listened to everyone around him talk about the female as she fixed her braids in her headband.
he never knew that the softball team at inashiro industrial had such a monster catcher. she looked like she wasn't from here and maybe she was from the states, so maybe that's why she's good.
"alright guys! let's get one more out!" she shouted with a smile as she placed her helmet back on her head.
miyuki watched as the person on third base was trying to go for a steal, and as soon as the pitcher threw the ball, it was a strike. the pitcher threw the ball again, and it was a strike. and everyone waited for the pitcher to throw the ball, and once she did, everyone heard the whistle blow.
"strike! batter out!" and inashiro industrial took home the victory.
"wow," was all miyuki can say as he looked at the catcher. he watched as her teammates jumped on her while she was smiling,
he got up from the bleachers and walked down to where the teams would meet, hoping that she would be there. he heard the sound of laughter and when he turned his head to the side to see her, the catcher.
"good game," he looked at her while she looked at him.
"thank you," she smiled at him, looking him up and down.
"i'm miyuki," he held his hand out, hoping that she'd shake it. and to his surprise, she shook it back.
"[your name]," she smiled, looking at him. she couldn't lie, he was cute. he was super cute.
"you're an amazing catcher, i was completely speechless when you threw the ball to third base," he spoke with his smile on his face.
"thanks," she scratched the back of her head as she chuckled.
"[your name] we're about to go!" her teammates shouted while she nervously chuckled.
"maybe i can give you my number and we can talk later?" he raised an eyebrow while handing her his phone. she quickly nodded her head as she grabbed his phone and typed her number in.
"talk to you later?" she nodded her head with a smile before she ran off to her teammates.
"girl!" they shouted towards her, pulling her on both arms.
"that's the catcher from seidou, miyuki!" mai shouted, tugging on her arm.
"and he's definitely interested in you!" aiyo added, wiggling her eyebrows.
"guys quit it, he just complimented my skills as a catcher," she mumbled, looking at her phone.
"then why would he need your number hm..." mai trailed off with a smirk as they walked inside the bus.
"whatever," she muttered to herself.
miyuki made it back to the dorms where kuramochi looked at him. he wondered why miyuki was in a good mood, "why are you smiling so hard?" kuramochi raised an eyebrow at him.
"i went to the inashiro softball game, and met the catcher there. she is an amazing catcher, better than most of the baseball catchers we play," he slightly smiled.
but that smile was quickly gone when he felt the arms of kuramochi around his neck, "you went to the game without me?" he shouted, making sure that his grip on his neck was tight.
"s-s-sorry," miyuki choked as kuramochi removed his arms from his neck.
"did you get her number?"
"of course i did, i'm going to text her and ask her to come over and watch our practice," he felt kuramochi pat him on the back with a small smile.
"i can't wait to see how she looks tomorrow," he chuckled before walking to his room.
↳ ❝ [𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓] ¡! ❞
the next day, [your name] got a text from miyuki asking her if she was free. after that text, he invited her over to watch their practice and offered to go somewhere to eat afterwards. she couldn't lie, she was a bit nervous. but once mai and aiyo reassured her that everything would be fine and that she was being over dramatic.
[your name] arrived to seidou and she was nervous as hell. she was happy that she wore shorts due to the hot weather in the summer. she walked over to where the crowd of people were watching by the fence and figured that they were over there practicing.
as she made her way there, she recognized the voice that was shouting and once he took his helmet off, there he was. he gave her a wink before he placed his helmet back on his head and crouched back down to continue his practice. she couldn't lie, he was amazing. she has never seen a catcher as amazing as him before, and she was intrigued.
after practice was over, miyuki walked over to where [your name] stood. he could feel the smile slowly forming on his face as he stood in front of her while she returned the smile.
"you.are.amazin'," she gasped, looking at him.
"and for you to compliment my skills as a catcher really made me happy," she added while he chuckled.
"it's no biggie really, that's just my role as a catcher," he shrugged his shoulder while smiling.
"oh wow," she jokingly chuckled, looking at the cocky miyuki.
"are you ready to go eat? i know this place that's not far from here that we could walk to," he looked at her and she nodded her head.
the walk to the restaurant consisted of them talking their love over baseball/softball and how they hope to make it big one day. when they got to the restaurant, their talk about the sport continued as he made a few jokes. [your name] couldn't lie, she was extremely happy. she has never talked to someone other than her teammates and classmates like this before.
"when is your next game so that i can come?" he looked at her.
"i believe next week," she looked up at the ceiling and thought for a while.
"great i'll be there," he smiled as she felt the jitters in her stomach.
after they were done eating, miyuki decided walk her to the bus stop before he headed back towards the dorm. he was really hoping to see her again, which he did the next day. and the day after, and the day after that, and at her games. they spent a lot of time with each other, and little did they know that something would end up happening.
there was no denying that these two had feelings towards each other after just meeting. was it the mere fact that they both enjoyed the same sport and played the same position? or was it simply love at first sight?

KAZUYA MIYUKI
let's be real, the nigga will do It back with no problem. why, because he's petty like that
cause he's just like, "what she ignoring me for"
Thinks that he did something to cause you to be like this
doesn't know if he should he should ask you what's wrong or if he should just give you your space.
definitely doesn't want to fight and cause a fuss because it would just make the situation something it didn't need to be
finally, he comes and literally SITS on you.
"MY NIGGA WHAT ARE YOU DOING"
"stop ignoring me then"
safe to say that, you will be doing this more often, just cause you thought it was funny
YOICHI KURAMOCHI
he's a little different from miyuki
yes he may act like it doesn't phase him, but he actually wants to know if you're ok
will start to bother you, and i mean, CONSTANTLY
"babyyyyyy." "babe" "A FUCKING YO I KNOW YOU HEAR ME"
"what did i dooooooo?"
just being loud and worried
you couldn't hold it in anymore, so you started busting out laughing
he was confused until he saw the camera and said "now, what if i was dying?", or "what if it was my last day on earth, and you wanna pull this?"
sigh, over-dramatic king
JUN ISASHIKI
ONE. LOUD. MF
will literally keep calling your name
like, nonstop
"EXCUSE ME, IM TALKING Y/N"
yea, he was doing the most.
but in all seriousness he will be concerned because you aren't talking to him
will go into emo mode when you keep doing it
"im sorry for what i did baby, just talk"
this nigga, gave you the damn eyes (well, it was a failed attempt)
you just BUSTED OUT LAUGHING while he was confused
you told him that it was just a prank and he said "...i wish you would every try that with me again"
"nigga, your puppy eyes was not it"
SHUNPEI SANADA
oh boy, if you haven't seen annoying, you haven't met this nigga
will poke you everywhere when you're ignoring him
face, arm, leg, foot, you name it
he's very persistent i will tell you that
until he said this
"welp, since you ain't talking, i guess that means that i can finally wear one of your bonnets."
"YEA ARD NIGGA! DON'T TOUCH MY SHIT"
"then don't ignore me then tf. nobody ignores me"
"whatever boy"
"shut up, you love me"

FIRST DATE - MIYUKI WEEK DAY 2
pairing: miyuki kazuya x (@reelogy)
genre: fluff
warnings: minor cursing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it has been 9 years ever since 6 year old renee and 7 year old kazuya had met, you would be surprised that they have stayed friends for that long
They were now both enrolled in seido high school as a 1st year and 2nd year being the ages of 16 and 17.
Miyuki had gained a lot of popularity due to being the star catcher on seido's baseball team, and Renee being right there with him as one of the team's managers
It was a regular school day on a Monday. Renee was getting ready to head out of class until a boy with glasses decided to stop her in her tracks
"wanna do something after school" he says
"don't you have practice zuya?" renee says while trying to get out the room
"coach gave us a day off, so we only have night practice" miyuki says with hopes of her accepting his offer
"...fine i guess" renee says while playfully rolling her eyes
"cool, it's a date" he says as he walks off
"....wait, what?" renee says with her eyes widened
"a date, and you can't take it back, ree" he says while smirking and walking away
"that little son of a bi- oh wait, i love his mom, DAMN" renee thought in her head
while getting ready for their "date" miyuki looked at the team with a nervous face
"do i look nice" he says to his teammates
"you're literally just hanging out with her, why are you freaking out" tanba says while having a concerned look on his face.
"cause, she's not really an outside person. so i had to seem really convincing in order for her to agree"
mochi pats his friend on the back "you better not do anything to fuck up, this is your crush we are talking about"
meanwhile, renee was figuring out if miyuki meant to say the word "date" to her. was he really serious about their time together being a "date", or was he just teasing her
at 4 PM, the duo met up at a nice cafe and sat down at a table.
They ordered their food and drinks and began to wait by talking to each other about random stuff going on with school
it was a comfortable silence between the two, until renee had asked him the question that has been on her mind
"is this a date" she says with no hesitation
"didn't i say it was?" he says with a smirk
"i feel like you're just teasing me" she says while looking at him
"i may tease you about a lot of things, but i would NEVER joke about liking you" he says with a serious face
"you sure?" she says
"positive, now let's enjoy this time together before practice, ok ree" he says while smiling
"ok zuya" she says with a small smile
