She approached the kitchen island, planting her arms on the counter across from her brother. Molly had been spending so much time with their mom today that it felt like she hadn’t seen any of her siblings in ages. Rhys always seemed to enjoy keeping to himself, but what little sister worth her salt wouldn’t go bother their older brother? Her fingers drummed briefly on the polished surface before she finally spoke. “September is here so as you know, it’s Halloween. This means that it’s time to start the annual movie marathon. So which one should kick everything off?”
