This is random, but I was in a Youtube spiral just now, and happened to watch the MLP episode “The Perfect Pear” (it was in the upcoming video list after I’d listened to some MLP songs). It was just as sweet and sad as I remembered, I cried a few tears.

ANYWAY! Buttercup and Bright Mac planted those seeds as a part of their wedding and it grew into the really pretty intertwined apple-pear trees, right? Well, it got me thinking idly what kinda wedding Applejack and Rainbow Dash had, and this cutest image just floated into my head.

I just imagine Applejack wanting to have the wedding by her parents’ trees, and depends on whoever imagines it I guess, but I like to think it’s a small intimate ceremony, just them and closest family and friends (the reception would be absolutely humongous tho). I don’t think they’d plant seeds, since that was a symbolic thing for AJ’s parents, but their vows would be so touching and beautiful (I imagine Rainbow Dash at some point talking to the tree and telling AJ’s parents she’ll take good care of their daughter) and Dash would cry and I’m almost crying from imagining it and Twilight would be officiating and she would absolutely cry. I feel like writing a smol fic, honestly, the image is so clear in my head.

Hey Zap!

I was helping Princess Twilight clean her castle and one of the books was hidden in a secret password. This photo was in it. There were a few more but they looked tattered and old. They look pretty and wanted to share them with you.

I don't know who these ponies are, but when u showed them to the princess she just smiled fondly and almost tears up. She asked me where I found them and now we were trying to gather and save as many as we could. I'll keep you posted!

"I... where... Wow. Huh. I don't know those ponies either but... they feel oddly familiar in some way." Zap nods rubbing her chin, "I mean the blue one looks awesome. But the orange pony... kind of looks cute."

Shrugs Zap shaking her head, "Sorry I can't help you there, maybe if you talk to the princess she'll tell you. I hope you find what you're looking for! Oh! Oh! And if you see more pictures... can you uh, share them? Thanks!"

so, we talk a lot about how applejack n rainbow dash are heavily implied to be married and the fact that they obviously have feelings with eachother. but when do y'all reckon applejack and rainbow decide to start officially dating?
