- sunset is a ler-leaning switch

- twi is a lee

- ^ I'm not saying she can't/doesn't tickle sunset. I'm just saying she's not built for it you know what im saying

- twilight canonically has the dorkiest snort laugh ever and it is PRECIOUS (lee!sci-twi is all I'm thinking about rn 🥰)

- sunset's laugh is more raspy and breathy, but so full of joy 😊

- sunset first discovered twilight was ticklish the night before a final exam. the two had stayed up super late cramming, but twilight insisted that it wasn't enough and that she was going to flunk miserably. one short exchange later and come to find out it's more of twilight's own insecurities bubbling to the surface, about how she isn't smart like everyone thinks she is and whatnot. in an effort to lighten the mood, sunset asked over and over "who's the best student~?" with many pokes to twi's sides, causing her gf to giggle up a storm. she gave in eventually, just in time for them both to crash 😴

- twilight first discovered sunset was ticklish when she tried to give her a massage. it started innocently enough. she wanted to relax her girlfriend after a long day at school with a soothing shoulder massage, but what she didn't know then was that sunset's shoulders were strangely really ticklish. of course twi would have been remiss if she hadn't investigated further 😈

- sunset's worst spot is her hips

- twilight's worst spot are her feet

- they primarily use tickles as a means of persuasion. any and all arguments can be dispelled with a tickle fight

- sunset uses A LOT of tickle kisses (which are conveniently twi's favorite)

- ^ also traps with tickle hugs

- twilight teases sunset with the classic "tickletickletickletickle!" but ends up getting more flustered herself

- sunset, on the other hand, pretends to be a magical tickle monster (something parents in equestria did with their foals)

Uh oh.

That was the word Twilight would use to describe her predicament right now. She slowly crept in the hallway of her massive castle, trying to see if any of her friends were around. She was mostly worried about Pinkie, she could out anywhere, at anytime.

Carefully, she rounded a corner, she froze as she heard Rarity's voice.

"Darling, where'd you go? We just want to talk."

Nope. Nopenopenopenopenope. Not today-

"Hey, Twi. How's it going?" A raspy voice interrupted her panicked thoughts.

... Oh sh-

Twilight lit up her horn, getting ready to teleport.

"Oh no you don't!" Rainbow exclaimed before barreling into the alicorn, pinning her to the floor. Rainbow didn't waste any time, immediately skittering her wings across her belly.

"Ack-! Rainbow! Wahahahahaihihit! Nohohoho!" Twilight giggled.

"Guys! I found her!" Rainbow called out, voice echoing through the halls.

"Shut uhuhuhuhup!"

"Yeah, I don't think your in the position to say that right now." Rainbow told her smugly, Twilight could practically hear the smirk in her voice.

Unfortunately, she heard hoof steps rapidly approaching them.

Applejack was the first to speak. "I gotta admit, sugarcube. I was expectin' ya ta last longer."

"Applejahahahack! Quiet!" Twilight demanded through her laughter, a slight blush dusted her cheeks.

"But why should we be quiet? It's not every day we see you laugh like this? Usually you're all stressed out!" Pinkie exclaimed as she vigorously poked Twilight all over, causing her to squirm.

"You guhuhuys are sohohoho done when I geheheht out of HEHEHEHEHRE! PINKIE NOHOHO!" Twilight yelled as Pinkie started to gently run her hoof up and down her horn.

"Well, I guess we're gonna have to keep this up for awhile then, huh." Fluttershy said with a mischievous tone. At least Twilight assumed it was mischievous, she couldn't really tell at the moment. But you probably know why.

And they did keep to their word, they had kept it up for awhile. And after what felt like a million years, they finally.

Applejack whistled. "Hey, sugarcube. Are you... alright?"

Twilight was currently panting on the floor, trying to catch her breath. "Uh, I'm... fine."

A couple minutes passed before Twilight suddenly stood up with a smirk of her own.

"Run."

Twilight stiffened as she tried to fight back a dreaded giggle from escaping her tightly closed lips. She couldn't imagine a more embarrassing predicament. Here she was, mere seconds away from giggling like a foal in front of Princess Celestia and Luna. All from a stupid, singular feather.

Wait, that was wrong. None of Celestia's feathers are stupid, they are very regel, actually. But not when you're in the middle of being tick-

...

You know, that word.

"Do you require some assistance, dear sister?" Luna asked with a smirk.

"Yes, unfortunately. She's being stubborn." Celestia replied curtly, running her feathers up and down Twilight's sides.

Twilight puffed out her cheeks as her ears turned red, despite being on the brink of cracking, she felt the need to defend herself. "Noho I'm nohoHAHAHAHAT! WHY?"

"Because it's fun." Celestia responded in a simple manner, "seeing my most faithful student all giggly like this is a magnificent sight, I must say."

Luna wiggled her feathers under Twilight's chin, causing her to scrunch her neck and trap Luna's wing. "The fun is being doubled! ... Can I have back my wing now?"

"Nohoho... it ti- feels weird." Twilight mumbled through giggles, a dark, red blush dusting her cheeks.

The princesses stayed silent as they register what Twilight had just said.

"You can't say tickle?" Celestia asked, sounding genuinely curious.

Twilight was mortified at the information she just released. She can't believe she just let that happen, she desperately hoped that they would gloss over that and ignore it.

"But why? It's just a word." Luna piped up, continuing to wiggle her feathers under her chin. "Tickle. See? Just a word. Tickle tickle tickle."

Twilight, at this point, had no idea if Luna was teasing her or was serious. Either way, this was the most humiliating thing to happen to her by far.

"Stahahahap! You're mahahakihihing ihit wohohohorse!"

"Making what worse? The tickles? Do your friends know you can't say tickle?" Okay, they were definitely teasing her at this point. She can't imagine what her friends would do if they figured out this information, especially Rainbow Dash.

"Okay, okay... we'll let you go. For now." The princesses both released their grip from Twilight, the purple pony took a moment to catch her breath.

Luna leaned over. "Did you have fun?"

"... Yeah..."
