Arches National Park

The park's arches and other formations were created over millions of years by erosion and weathering. Rainwater dissolves carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, creating carbonic acid, which reacts with the rock and breaks it down.

I am FIGHTING the urge to go adopt a couple kittens right now. It just is not a good time for it. I'll probably be traveling at least a couple times this year for wildfire season, and there's no predictability when that'll be, but it'll be for two weeks at a time. And then I'm finally getting my top surgery this fall (had to reschedule it because of all the federal hiring BS screwing with my job), and that'll also put me out of town for a week or two (and then the recovery period).

Best time for new kittens would probably be January-February next year so I'm recovered from surgery, and I'll have a few months of probably normal work schedule before next wildfire season kicks off.

But even though it has only been a day since I had to say goodbye to Rumble, I already miss having fur babies so much. 😭

(Also, the feral cats in the neighborhood keep trying to make more cats despite my slow attempts to get them fixed, so I kind of suspect I might just get pinged by the cat distribution system at some point this summer. :P)
