Shipping Saturdays - Franticshipping

Today we have another classic! Franticshipping is the ship between Dex-holders Ruby and Sapphire, both representing and from the Hoenn region (although Ruby lived in Johto for a brief time before the Ruby and Sapphire series began). Their ship is also called RuSa andルサ in Japanese.

Their romantic tag on Archive of Our Own currently has 121 fics tagged under the Pokemon Special fandom tag, making it the second most popular ship out of its fandom (behind Preciousmetalshipping) and the most popular f/m ship. In total it has 130 fanfictions tagged. (As of November 26, 2022.)

I'm not saying this just because I'm a mod but everyone into the bruins and into rpf should get excited for our fic exchange in my humble opinion — even if you have never done an exchange before, and hell, even if you have never written a bruins fic before, too.

The stakes are low (1k minimum word count and almost two months to complete the works), EXCHANGES ARE SUPER FUN, and we have such a good group of people here in our bruins rpf corner that I'm psyched. You get to write a fic for someone who doesn't know you are writing for them and get a mystery gift in return! You get to come up with prompts! And then, when reveals happen, you get to read so many wonderful new stories, all at once. And you get to make it thru the long summer months with no bruins hockey!

Dino Anon - this little balloon rascal (affectionate) is a part of team angst and I love them (/p) for it!

Small Spark - we call them Crow in the disc and they make very very poggers art!! (art style is *chef's kiss* btw)

Monopoly Anon - I named her that because she made it apparent that she sucks at monopoly during her first few asks (/j) Also, her ideas are poggers!! Blame her for many of the angst in this au :]

Shipping Saturdays - Grantedshipping

Grantedshipping, or ワタイエ by the Japanese side of the fandom, is the ship between dex-holder Yellow and champion Lance, both from Kanto. They are enemies throughout the part of the series which focuses on both of them, so, the whole of the Yellow chapter.

As of November 10, 2022 it has 31 works under the Pokemon Special tag on Archive of Our Own. 32 in total.

The last time these two have been shown to interact was the end of the Yellow chapter, although a sort of interaction was mentioned in Heart Gold Soul Silver.

As far as I'm concerned, the main tags are for the whole fandom, which means even proship blogs.

Please block us along with the tags "proship safe" and "proshippers please interact", which will be on every post, so that you do not see our posts again. If you would also like to block the tags "antis dni" and "antishippers dni" that is also a good idea, though they're not on every post.
