First shiny custom in ages! I dyed a comfy friends espeon shiny, and I love how she turned out! I took some artistic liberties with the shade of green; not a huge fan of the shade of green in the games, so I used a little teal and a little peacock green to get this more pastel lime c: A few spots didn't take the dye but I don't mind it. I could have done another dyebath but I ~did not feel like it~ lmao

plush modifications-! we put bags of rice in our squishmallow Tofu (3 bags of rice) and giraffe Nina (1 bag of rice) they are officially now weighted plushies-! we probably will do this on more plushies. plush modifications are really nice for us because we need more weighted plushies for deep pressure (we're autistic)

For my next trick, I'm going to turn this wolf/husky... Into a thylacine.

First, we unstuff the unsuspecting victim...

Then we get the Broth prepared. This is sandstone Rit dye for artificial fibres. We want this to be below but close to boiling so we don't damage the plush fibres. I have no idea what 200F means but the packet was American so I switched my thermometer to F.

Wolf soup! This is my first time dying a plush but I wanted to see if I could get a gradient on the nose and feet, so I'm keeping them out of the water. I also stitched some stripes on the back so we will see how they turn out...

Don't use your food cookware for this folks, this is an old pan I've used for dying model car seats before (don't ask).

Time to rinse this guy and give him a quick spin in the washer. It came out almost dry. I'm impatient so I just went ahead with a slightly damp plushie.

Rounded the ears, swapped the eyes, used alcohol markers for the markings! Thylacine! The tie-dye stripes didn't quite turn out but I like the effect. Tydylacine..

Gonna let him dry properly and he should fluff up good. The fur has remained nice and soft. Very peaceful. Very demure.

The Donutvee... A Tomy Eevee plush I bought off Vinted in October 2024, because the previous owner had replaced its neck ruff with a donut (of unknown make) for some reason?? Very mysterious, and absolutely irresistible.

I added the donut ear-let, and it normally wears that rainbow donut cat toy as an oversized bracelet too.

NEWS: After a several month delay, the Pokemon Fit set for thr Kalos region has been revealed. Not only will this set feature all 72 Kalos region Pokemon, but Pokemon such as Vivillon and Furfrou will have plushes made of their alternate forms. This set will be released in Japan on June 15th.

@princessxombie gave me a little disco pumpkin plush & I sewed wings & glued a googly eye on it & it's a littol creechure now

It hangs under streetlamps & slowly spins using its 2 little grabby feet. The light reflecting off its shiny scales disorients its prey- insects, small rodents & sometimes even fish [pretty much anything nocturnal & small enough to fit in its mouth. It uses a froglike tongue to catch prey. I don't know why it's pumpkin shaped or what the stem is for. Vibration-sensing organ maybe? Maybe it uses echolocation, but fitting with the disco theme, it makes like a rhythmic 4-4 beat by clicking its jaws I dunno
