WIP Saturday 🙋‍♂️

Been slowly gettin' back into CP77 modding and wanted to do some comfy hoodie :3

First attempt was a port from Marvelous Designer

Everything was going fine, weight was decent, but trying to get the materials right was fucking my groove up

Wasn't satisfied with how it looked, the shadows were unpleasant, and couldn't find any materials that I liked - so I ended up tossing it aside (didn't delete it! Might rework in the future when I feel better about it 👀)

Instead, I decided to work from a Vanilla garment!

I love this hoodie and used it a lot during my PL playthrough - tho it's way too crowded for what I had in mind, a simple, comfy hoodie

Even if I was able to delete some of the additional bits, a big part of it is actually baked into the main submesh (like a lot of vanilla meshes)

After my unbuckled Aldecaldos jacket I feel more confident tackling heavy editing projects tho, so this wasn't TOO spooky 👌

First thing first, I deleted a big chunk from the left top side and kept the bottom part (to keep the assymetry and natural flow of the fabric) then I mirrored the right side and connected everything to the remaining left side

Fixing a mesh up means I also need to unwrap its UVs again - AND that means duplicating, moving and flipping the normal map to follow the new unwrapped uvs

Same with the mlmask layers, but that comes later 🧍‍♂️

The original Hoodie has a bunch of additional meshes; the sleeves and hoods variants are on a separate mesh that gets called by the OG entity

I decided to merge everything into a single mesh, easier to handle for me in the AXL structure later 🔎

Regardless, still needed to move the sleeves and hoods to match the new fixed left side (since its a mirror of the right side!)

Now that the meshes are fixed both model and UV wise, need to re-weight it from the OG garment 🤚 That concludes the 3D part

AXL side, I went with 4 different garment ent and apps to handle the 4 variants; default (hood down, long sleeves), hooded, rolled sleeves, and hooded + rolled!

A fun lil detail with this mesh is that the hood doesn't have any garment support - with this in mind I decided to use the T1 - inner torso - slots to allow us to wear vest on top of the hoodie

With everything ready, t'was time to tackle the FUN part; the appearaaaaanceeeees 🤠

I first had 4 designs with 5 colors each - but it quickly turned into 6 colors each; first design being the "basic" / default one, that I named "edgewear"

Gotta keep in mind that each color has 4 mesh variants, so that's already 24 items

I then used the beloved "orange leather" vanilla hoodie with the white barghest face on it (the one I used through my PL playthrough! probably my favorite tbh) as a base for my next design, "quilted"

It has a cute skunk ass hood 🦨

And I'm currently still working on a third design inspired by Varsity Jackets, the... well gfhhg "varsity" design

All of the appearances are still Wips and might change 🧍‍♂️

and I'd like to maybe add one more BUT... that's already 74 items, I don't like having too much options hgfh but dynamic AXL makes it really easy to just go apeshit with variations

ANYWAY I felt like doing another Behind The Mod TM post :3 some of y'all like them and I like sharing my modding stuff!

Dream and I both been bearding together. I'm not ready to public share mine cuz I wanna wait till the look is complete but it's delightful I promise.

But I can share the fact that I am reworking my werewolf Zayn a lil better. I was editing the hair textures, they look softer than before but rn it's a lil too whispy so I'm trying to make it look a lil thicker. kdjfhgkdjfgh

I'm also learning poses

that 'selfie' pic I posted here, was lookin like this zoomed out. I learned to scale for custom poses so my boy could be his proper small self. I've been mostly using camera trickery in the past, but with this I can make my own lil accurate cute poses for their size difference. 💚

That's the only pose that's worked so far with my testing cuz I have limited time, but we're getting there. I have one to sync with the wolf too when I get it working.

I haven't keepin up with like socials so much cuz while not at work my nose has been stuck in blender and wkit and tutorials. 😂

pc game override - wip

Because I won't be able to work on this for a while I'm uploading what I've done so far. Any recommendations of what games I should add are welcome^^

Stardew Valley > My Sims Go! Animal Crossing > Incredible Sports

Internet Games (Barbie, MyScene, Sue Games, etc.) > Sims Forever

This is a wip so it still needs polishing. In the future I will add more games and anything that needs fixing, for example the animations so that sims aren't moving so much while playing.

Since my mod replaces pc games, you can't use another override mod that does the same since they conflict.

I apologize for being pretty silent the last few days. It's shark week for me, and it's been kicking my butt nonstop. I have been chipping away at a few things, doodling for babytwo related asks I've been sitting on for a hot minute that I'll be posting later on down the line. TS3 Cloud Pink UI - Alpha Version Download

I’ve made some more progress on Cloud Pink UI and I’ve decided to make an alpha version available for download!

You are more than welcome to test it out, just keep in mind I’ve only focused on Live Mode so far, and it is still very much a work-in-progress. Please let me know if you find any issues, and I'll aim to fix them in future versions.

I briefly posted about this yesterday, but I also added in occult icons for witches (wand), fairies (wings), vampires (fangs), and werewolves (crescent). I'm always forgetting which colours in the relationship panel represent each occult, so hopefully this makes it a bit easier!

Modding Notes

It was my 20th birthday about a week ago 😄 and so I haven't been super active and working on my mods. But I'm making some more progress with my romance mod which should be releasing this month, I do really want to get it out this time 😅 I'm also working on another project that although maybe a little ambitious, I would like to get out this month too, but it would be a demo version. Here's a tiny sneak peek at it! 😊

Close ups of the redesign portrait mod im working on!

Since elliott's hair is a big part of his personality, i wanted his happy portrait to have just a lil strand of volume! His blushing portrait will have the same detail as well ^^

I also thought it would be fun to change his pose a little when he's more emotional; his shoulders are slightly raised in the happy portrait and will be in other portraits, too!

And OF COURSE I had to bring back an earring for him.

This is my first foray into pixel art and my first mod ever!

If you have any tips on pixel art, hand them over! Plus, wish me motivation if you can! <3

Did you know there's a stingray hidden in The Sims 3 files? 👀

While digging through the game code, I found out that The Sims 3 actually has a stingray model — but it's completely unused and hidden! 🐠 Sooo... I'm working on a mod that brings it to life.

This mod will unlock marine animals to appear on beaches, acting both as an addon to "Get Wild & Ocean Life Mod" and as a standalone version if you prefer to keep things lightweight.
