If you are also a werewolf Zayn would know without even having to ask. He'd be able to sniff it out. Though he likely wouldn't say anything about it. He would never outwardly approach an unknown fellow werewolf cuz he didn't exactly get to socialize with any others growing up. He's not sure if there's protocols he doesn't know about or if others may be immediately hostile or not.

If you are other sorts of supernatural tied beings he might also be able to sniff out something off, but not necessarily figure out what it is. Unless it's something he has in fact encountered before.

Mozilla, in its finite wisdom, embedded LLM bots into recent versions of Firefox for the vitally-important purpose of… naming tab groups. Now, some users are noticing CPU and power usage spikes caused by a background process called Inference.

Ugh. Reminder again for Firefox users to visit your about:config page, search for the browser.ml.chat.enabled key, and set that to false:

Doing that turns off the AI chatbot features in Firefox, but also the stupid new LLM tab-naming feature that's rolling out.

being anti ai is making me feel like in going insane. "you asked for thoughts about your characters backstory and i put it into chat gpt for ideas". studies have proven its making people dumber. "i asked ai to generate this meal plan". its causing water shortages where its data centers are built. "ill generate some pictures for the dnd campaign". its spreading misinformation. "meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is impletmenting ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here?

Man... I got a cold for right when I had a fuckin surgery scheduled like months in advance. It started like a couple days before, so I went into the hospital like "Well, sorry this was really the worst timing." But they deadass just made sure I had a lil oxygen thing in my nose to help me breath a lil better and we did the thing. (tbh I think it helped clear my sinuses a bit and I was breathing mostly smooth for the remainder of the day)

Which by the way was weird I've never had a surgery before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was fine and I was actually more stressed in the time leading up to it than the actual day which is funny. Being aware you're in a procedure but not feeling it is the weirdest fucking thing. I was aware enough I was 100% talking about a pair of shoes I wanted to buy with the nurses and staring at the ceiling. But I def did not feel anything. I dunno I may have been out out for part of it, but it didn't seem like it. Hard to tell tbh. 😂

ANYWAY I thought recovery would be mildly rough. But I deadass haven't had to take anything for it specifically cuz all of my damn focus and misery has now been redirected to the cold that decked me in the face with VENGEANCE today. jfc All of my misery? Nothing even remotely to do with the procedure. Just this damn head cold that really said "Surgery recovery? Oh honey, you don't gotta worry about that... hold my beer"

Literally end me. If it ain't leaking out my nose from the front it's going down the back and making me cough. my throat now hurts from coughing and my brains feel like they're gonna leak out my ear if I tilt my head too much. Aint no one paying attention to the fact that part of my fuckin cervix was cut out. My body doesn't give 2 shits about that. dkfjhgdkjfgh
